Was super excited to try this place based on other's reviews. Service was extremely slow (waiter was young and nice). Food was mediocre. My food was underdone but server didn't come back to check for so long that it wasn't worth sending back. My husband's starter was excellent but other than that, I won't be back. Tap water also tasted off.

I'm not a huge seafood fan but there's plenty here for me to enjoy. They know how to cook lobster so it's not rubbery or stringy, and it's clear they purchase top quality seafood. Service can be a crapshoot, though.

There were many open tables as well as reservations slots when we decided to do a walk-in visit on a Thursday night in the off season. We approached the host only to be told there was nothing available. Are you kidding? Never would we support such a lousy business.
Food is always delicious.

However, the food and drinks were phenomenal. I will definitely be back again for dinner. The surf and turf was a crowd favorite.

First timer here. Valet, for small lot. Very friendly. Staff love their jobs. Fans plentiful and do cool you off. Maura waited on us and was irresistibly personable and fun! So many specials, you can't miss. Chef knows what he's doing, and does it with gusto!

The chef cooks something different always and the menu remains small and changes but they cook with so much precision,detail, love and flavor that you just want to give this business all your money, love and support. Their drinks are really good too also made with precision. Can't say anything bad the server was great super friendly and casual. Place is pretty small so make a reservation! Also it's pretty busy. Many more people finding out about this awesome hidden gem!

DO NOT GO to this restaurant!!!! we came as a coup for a elegant evening and I was verbally assaulted by a runner and the so called manager at the time offered a drink for the insults and was the worst experience of my life! Horrible service!!!!!!! Do Not Recommend For Anyone from out of town
Dinner Friday night was amazing.
Perfect weather, outside seating, food was delicious from the starters, main course and dessert. Alexis our server was spot on. Had command of the menu and was nice and professional throughout our dinner. Looking forward to returning soon.

DON'T GO / No Parking
BEWARE -DON’T GO! Upon our arrival, some poorly dressed parking attendant told us that the restaurant has valet parking. With many spaces available in the back, I proceeded as in the past to park my car there (most of the cars I passed were a third or less of my car’s value). The “Valet Manager” - in a dirty, sweaty t-shirt with short pants and old sneakers - followed and demanded, laced with many F-words, that my car to be removed or a tow-truck would be called and no food be served. I then requested the restaurant manager - a twenty-something Jersey girl - to rectify the situation with the valet “manager”, to no avail. Subsequently, I requested to speak with the owner, only to learn the owner refused to come out, and as told by the “restaurant manager” “if we don’t like his policies to leave” (which we did, having a great dinner down the road served by a very courteous and capable staff) BOTTOM LINE: If an obnoxious, non-caring business owner, a questionable $10/hour, unqualified valet manager (with little qualification to handle a 700hp hyper/luxury sports cars), loud and tightly placed crowds with tattoo marked servers is your thing, then this beach dive is the right choice for you. However, there are many better restaurants with higher standards within as little as 5 miles radius, and this owner has been cut out from our future dinning revenue stream (after we had spend a lot of money in the past few years). Well-connected, we will let plenty of folks know.
Terrible service, great food … but don’t expect to receive it all
The worst experience I’ve had in Monmouth County. Service was terrible. Seated at 5:45pm it took 25 min before we were able to ASK a server passing by to take our order. Not one person asked us if we wanted water (seated outside on the patio in the sun, in July) for that 25 min. We watched several people ask the hostess for a server to come and take their orders. Another client behind us complained how terrible his cocktail was. Once we were finally able to place our order we ordered appetizers before our entrees. We received the tuna meatballs but the Crudo did not arrive. When we asked the server she let us know the crudo takes longer to come out. We received and finished our entrees and never received the crudo. After we let the server know to take the crudo off the bill, the manager offered to comp the dish…. that we never received. I mean obviously you won’t be charging us for something we never received. They ended up bringing the crudo out for dessert … which we kindly declined. I asked to speak with the manager, and I have never met a more incompetent person in F&B in my life. An amateur, nervous, speaking in circles, and constantly speaking over me - our server Maura would make a better manager - consider it. It is clear the hostess did not assign the entire patio section to a server nor did the restaurant adequately staff for July 3 whilst releasing the amount of reservations on Resy they did, not having the capability to serve that capacity. The above aside - the food was excellent. Just don’t expect to receive everything you order.

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
