I went to Madame Brasserie on the 1st floor (57 meters above the ground). They reopened this summer after the pandemic was effectively over. I made the reservation back in July for 205 Euro ($215) including lift ticket to 1st floor. It was a Fixed Prix meal. I got 1 glass of Champagne, choice of still or sparkling water in a liter bottle, 4 courses (appetizer, pasta, meat/fsh and dessert) and choice of white, rose or red wine (3 glasses). There were 4 choices for each course except for the pasta. I started with Croque Madame version of Pate with foie gras. Very creative with a thin layer of aspic. The pasta course was Spelt Risotto. A nice grain. My main course was broiled Sea Bass served on sauteed onions cooked in real butter. A nice piece of fish. For dessert, I had the Rum Baba cake and Vanilla Creme Fraiche. The cake was a round cake soaked in rum and the Creme Fraiche was a oval pillow. Very smooth and yummy. I had American (French version is actually an Americano) coffee. A nice finish to another day in Paris.

My fiancé took me here as a belated Valentine's Day surprise and it was truly a unique experience. Not many people can say they had lunch on the Eiffel Tower and that alone is worth the steep price tag! The food was alright, hence the 4 stars, it could've been more flavorful and a bit "fancier" per se but I can't complain! I was at the Eiffel Tower looking over the Trocadero. Happiest moment :)

I will never forget this date night - it can't be replicated (I'm ruined lol). The only drawback is getting to the restaurant. You have to wait in line for the large elevator taking everyone up. While I received many compliments on my evening attire, I felt out of place (these are my personal 1st world issues). Upon arrival you are greeted and seated. The views of Paris are unparalleled. Our server went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable experience, noticing that I do not consume liquor and making a mocktail. The food was delicious and portioned nicely. You can tour the tower after dinner. Be sure to stay nearby because the tower is illuminated in the evening and twinkles at a certain time.

The restaurant itself is great to have a tourist experience when visiting the Eiffel Tower. I would recommend to buy it as a package when you visit as it will include your visit to the tower. It will allow you to have a nice meal with excellent customer service, so make sure to be chatty with your server as they could be from a different country the views are breath taking and the food will leave you wanting more while you also visit one of the most iconic landmarks. The package I bough include the meal at the restaurant, visit to the tower, a cruise and a show at the Moulin Rouge. Not bad for a night!

It hurts me to say this because I expected so much more from this restaurant. First of all the views are everything. This is the lower restaurant on the Eiffel Tower. The other restaurant was closed at the time I visited. Reservations are highly recommended to get a window table. The restaurant has views all around. The menu is a fixed menu which I have attached in my photos. You can choose from several options but most of them are seafood. The seafood was just average. The forks they use have the Eiffel Tower in the center of them which I thought was cool but for the price I didn't think the food was worth it. The wait staff was attentive but the food just missed. I would have expected a lot more being located in the Eiffel Tower. Especially for how busy it was. If you'd like to go make sure you make a reservation or just go to the top for the view and there are so many spots to eat in Paris.
Be the first to ReplyWe went for the experience.
The food was good but the views and watching the sun set on Paris was priceless. The kids were excited that they were served champagne and wine and they giggled all night. It is obviously very touristy but being a tourist, I bucked the stigma and had a really tasty meal with my family. There was a photographer that sold pictures at the end of the evening, which we purchased. Not bad for an evening in La Ville Lumière.

How good could food be up in the tower at a tourist trap? We'll go ahead and book it , has romantic view and very good food . Not the best by all means in Europe but very good considering it's the only game there . Unlike most museum pre made food this is a real Restuarant with a kitchen .

For my trip to Paris , it was an absolute must for me to have dinner in the Eiffel Tower. The reservation process wasn't difficult at all. The website was very precise and easy to navigate. There was limited availability for the time I wanted and the seating area I preferred to sit in. I wasn't able to get a window table but nonetheless I still enjoyed my experience and the view. When we got there , there was a line for the elevator to actually get to the restaurant in the Eiffel Towel. (be aware that there is a different line for people that are going to the restaurant and people that just want to see the Eiffel Tower, don't stand on the wrong line , ask beforehand) The line moved rather quickly I would say 10 to 15 mins at most. Once we got inside the restaurant everything was exactly how the pictures made it out to be. It was evening time so the Eiffel Tower was lit up. The customer service was great and the food was good. I think you really pay for the experience of just being in the Eiffel Tower it's about like 160 per person and that includes a glass of wine/champagne and a 3 course meal. Overall, I would recommend going for the view and just the experience of having dinner or lunch in the Eiffel Tower
Be the first to ReplyBe Romantic!!!!!!! This place was spectacular.
.. I guess you can't take a trip to Paris and skip this restaurant...Food was excellent and just looking around and realizing you are seating and having dinner in the EIFFEL tower Make reservations at least aa week or two in advance in order to have good seating arrangements.

The food is phenomenal, the views are one of kind and the glamour of dining in the lady of iron (Eiffel Tower) is unforgettable. Tables are pretty tight packed, so hope that you sit near polite fellow diners. Unfortunately we got stuck sitting next to a fellow who wouldn't stop yelling at a laughing child nearby. However, the overall dining and service experience were spectacular.
Be the first to ReplyA very fun experience.
I took my wife and 2 children (12 and 7) here for dinner in mid June. It's a bit of a hassle getting to the restaurant. First you have to make it to the Eiffel Tower, then wait in lines to access the tower. Wait in another line once inside at the restaurant kiosk to get your lift ticket. And yep, wait in line at the elevator to go up. Once at the first level, the waiting was over. This is no fault of the restaurant. But give yourselves plenty of time. Get there early!! My family is a little silly, and we probably should have done the lunch instead of dinner. We were surrounded by lovely couples trying to have a quiet romantic dinner and my 7 year old kept farting and laughing hysterically. "I just farted on the Eiffel Tower", he yelled with enthusiasm. They are well behaved boys, but they ARE boys. So keep that in mind when booking with kids. Maybe lunch is a better option. Lol. The food was good. But maybe a little posh for my southern tastes (that's probably a good thing though). We tried the foie gras and it was a little different. I was taking big bites of it and trying to take it down like a man, when the waitress said it's a little better spread on bread. She was right. It wasn't great by itself. A little fowl. The veal was delicious. The mashed potatoes were great. Dessert wasn't as amazing as I hoped, but still very good. Wine was superb. One thing we wondered about before showing up was the dress code. We saw lots of sport coats and dresses in the restaurant. My family was on a 2 week backpacking trip through Europe, so we didn't have room to bring fancy clothes. But we were warmly welcomed in our pants and polo style collared shirts. Service was very good and the view was obviously beautiful. I would recommend. It was expensive, but you're buying the experience. This would be a fantastic spot for a romantic dinner (as long as you aren't beside a hillbilly family like mine).
