Creative Japanese cooking with French influence
Came at the recommendation of my husband whoโs been there twice before. I was frankly sceptical initially since who needs high end fusion Japanese food? I was very impressed with the creativity of the dishes (presentation, technique and of course, freshness of the ingredients). I liked that the chef preserved whatโs great about Japanese cuisine in terms of flavours and ingredients while enhancing it with non-Japanese influence. Definitely worth a visit!
Be the first to ReplySeaweed
The food was based off of the sea... The first three dishes did not have much flavor and alot of seaweed was used in almost every dish average time for dinner was 2.5 hrs the seats were not padded so it was not comfortable to sit long periods of time... I would go back when they change the menue.. Being a chef I would say the need other notes to the dishes or a punch flavor with every dish see attached pictures it looks good but the flavor was not there

Very good meal. Open kitchen allows to see everything from start to end.
Food is very simple yet extremely sharp and interesting, Wine pairing absolutely amazing and well thought.
Staff with a little bit English, enough to understand.
QUIET HIDDEN GEM IN EBISU
This is a well kept secret in Ebisu 1 chome and once we found the place, settled into a nice set menu with wine tasting. The chef is young, energetic and his food and presentation reflect his enthusiasm along with the young staff. Food was excellent and better priced than the likes of Narisawa. Highly recommended and went with the wine pairing which was generous.
