Excellent food and service
Exceptional service, delicious food at affordable prices. Highly recommended for a special occasion or just a treat.

First courses were good, but it just went down hill. The wine pairings rarely went with the dishes (and perhaps a cultural thing but they were extremely small for the price tag, like a mouthful) The rabbit dish was sickly, with the rabbit not well trimmed, alot of sinew and bone, like more than usual. The veal dish just overpowered by the Berry oil and also became sickly. The pre dessert I didn't eat because it was not good. I usually think of a pre dessert as a palette cleanser, however it contained wasabi and left terrible after taste. I can't remember all the other flavour I think melon. But none of them worked together and the textures made it unpleasant to eat together. The final dessert was similar in that it was sickly and the flavours just did not work. Blood orange chocolate and peppermint. Like eating a bar of chocolate, brushing your teeth then drinking orange juice. Just no. The service just wasn't up to par either. We opted for the premium wine pairings, but weren't offered description from the staff on why they were chosen, just simply told the wine, and region. Not any sort of tasting notes (even just the obvious back of the bottle info would hint that there was some thought behind it) several times new wines were poured without empties being cleared. Plates were left behind. With new dishes arriving. Staff were pleasant but really lacked attention to detail. 3 dishes of mine were clearly not enjoyed, and no attempt to ask for feedback from the staff, shows me the staff either know the dishes don't work, or they don't care. Either way it's not a great sign. The dishes don't lack skill, in fact technical skill is absolutely at the fore front of the menu, but there is a real lack of thought in the dish as a whole, and how the textures and flavours will work together to complete the dish. Really disappointing. Maybe it was an off night, but if not and that's their usual standard, I'm surprised the have kept the star based on our experience. And absolutely did not hit the mark for the pricetag.

It was our first time in a star restaurant, and the truth is that everything was magnificent, it was the birthday of two of the diners and they were tremendously attentive. We tried the 5-step tasting menu along with the wine pairing, an excellent option, it was also the "inauguration" of that menu, the flavor and textures of the dishes were impressive, all related, simple dishes with specific touches, all very good yarn. We highlighted the albufera rice with beetroot and the sweet beef with coconut on the menu, and also the complimentary starter of truffled butter, and of course as a great lover of matcha tea, the dessert was refreshing and perfect to end a good meal. I also want to highlight the enormous care and interest of all the waiters, a highly recommended experience and we will surely return.

A disappointment. Overrated. Very high price for the experience. Good presentation but disappointment and little surprise in the dishes. A cheap restaurant atmosphere. Excessive noise. Great hurry.
Be the first to ReplyHugely disappointing. Obnoxious staff.
Hugely disappointing 2 out of 5. Experience did not come close to expectation. Seven course tasting menu was new that evening. Waiters, all male staff, lacked female representation) dressed way too informally, all wearing Adidas trainers, informed us they had not yet tasted the new dishes. Why not? Staff at a Michelin restaurant must know what they are serving to allow them to describe each course in detail. Interaction with us was minimal, almost non existent. Table text to us had the exclusive attention of the sommelier all evening, lacked awareness of other guests. One course had to be sent back as one element of dish had been forgotten about and had to be added. Had to rely on reading menu for each course descriptor. Presentation was ostentatious and almost comical at times. Courses served in plastic rocks and ceramic crabs, stick to white plates and let the food speak for itself. No where near the standard of English Michelin Star restaurants. Save money and book elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, poor elsewhere.
This was our first ever michelin star experience and sadly, it didn't live up to expectations. We expected the service, wine pairings and food to all be immaculate. However, the service was below par for such standard, the wine pairings were not well thought out. The food quality was extremely good, just a shame the other bits let it down. I'm quite surprised this place has a Michelin Star.
Be the first to ReplyHighly recommend - including when pregnant
I loved the 7-course lunch tasting menu with wine pairing. We very much appreciated that the chef offered a pregnancy-appropriate version of the menu for my wife - and the food was still absolutely delicious!

We really enjoyed the lunch and the perfect wine accompaniment, the service was very attentive and we didn't miss anything
Be the first to ReplyJust splendid restaurant
We had a 7-course lunch 6 of Jan 2024. Everything was just outstanding; excellent service, nice atmosphere and above all excellent food and wines. Highly recommended
Be the first to ReplyWorthwhile the evening !
Can only recommend this restaurant for a great price/quality diner in a nice atmosphere with an attentive service. Well balance creative plate’s, subtle flavour and good wine list ! Well worth the detour
Be the first to ReplyOk but not great. The service was excellent but overall left feeling disappointed
Firstly I'd like to mention the positives. The waiting staff were first class and the wine pairing was excellent. We really enjoyed 4 of the 7 courses. Especially the dessert course. However the first 3 courses were a bit more miss than hit. I felt the textures of all 3 starting courses to be very similar and all were soft and in some cases had an almost slimy mouth feel. I couldn't eat the fermented squid course at all. The texture was all wrong and for me it wasn't a good flavour. The first three courses all had an odd mushy soft texture as if designed for people with no teeth! I feel that the borsch course would have been better with maybe a filled tortellini or ravioli rather than veal tartare. This is just my opinion and possibly others would have enjoyed the courses but we left slightly disappointed and feeling as though it wasn't anywhere near worth the over £200 price tag for 2 people.
Be the first to ReplyGreat experience
Having lunch at a restaurant with one Michelin-star isn´t what we do every day and therefore the visit at Adrian Quetglas was quite exciting. And we were not disappointed - five brilliant courses, perfect wine pairing and a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. Maybe the desert didn´t add much to the great experience, but it wasn´t bad either. Michelin-stars are mostly connected to very high prices, but at Adrian´s you can eat sumptuously without getting ruined - 45 Euros + 25 Euros for the wine pairing is quite resaonable.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful evening with amazing food
What a Wonderful dining experience!!Amazing taste and creativity! Really love it !! The atmosphere is nice and warm and no need to whisper !! Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplySimply stunning !
Just returned from a week in Palma and researched the “Michelin scene” and booked prior to leaving the UK, couldn’t have chosen a better experience👍 Food was superb , interested but not too out there, beautifully presented and stunning to eat Service excellent, attentive and knowledgable but not pushy Environment, relaxed and cool Value excellent Thank you team Adrian Quetglas for making the experience special
Be the first to ReplyAmazing manager, and exceptional quality
Quality should not be assessed only when things go well or wrong. Quality should be assessed on the efforts taken to correct something that went wrong and Adrian's restaurant is a great example of such a situation. The food was amazing, the pairing awesome, the staff very friendly and knew their job. All these were expected at a Michelin restaurant and we were not let down! However what was exceptional was Mr Nunez (hope I spelled the me correctly), the manager of the restaurant who corrected an oversight/mistake from one of the other staff who wrongly called us up to cancel our reservation as she wrongly noted that the restaurant could not cater for vegetarians. The vegetarian degustation was amazing and full of imagination. Will be visiting this restaurant again and again
Be the first to ReplyWho knew? Red Pepper Ice Cream
Every one of the five courses were superb, service great, wine choices perfect and then ended up with with Red Pepper Ice Cream with Chocolate Truffle & Anchovy soil all for under €150 - brilliant and thanks
Be the first to ReplyIf that a Michelin Star worth?
The restaurant looks welcoming from the outside. A treat, we thought to ourselves. What we didn’t expect was, when seated the extra sale started; the concept of this restaurant is “affordable Michelin food” - then we don’t want to be pushed for 60€ Caviar or 30€ cheese that’s not included! The wine didn’t fit with the dishes, and the dishes was also disappointing - tasteless. Would recommend a cheaper non-Michelin Star restaurant option rather than this restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic
I’ve been lucky to have eaten in some of the best Michelin starred restaurants around Europe and this is up there with them. Amazing food with tastes in each dish blending in brilliantly. Wine pairing and service was top class. Great value too.
Be the first to ReplyUnique experience?
We booked this restaurant in February, and confirmed the reservation over a week ago,so suprised to receive a phone call asking if we'd like to eat inside or out ,lovely sunny day ,lets eat on the terrace
Unfortunately when we arrive the terrace is a table on the street next to 2 lanes of traffic at busy road junction,
When we arrived said we'd rathef sit inside, not possible fully booked, then realisation, wanted our table for someone else, lots of fussing heater lit,are you sure this is ok? not much choice as you've sold our table
Food actually quite good ,and very good value ,but not really what I expect in a so called one star restaurant, have worked and eaten in michelin star restaurants since the mid eighties so I know what I'm talking about
Wife complained to waiter/manager? at end of meal said we had asked to sit outside, not true, said he would speak to some one and get back to,didn't bother, cant comment on interior, didn't get past front door,in Palma for five days, food here better than most ,but ruined by attitude of management,my ratings reflects the whole experience, and the cherry on the cake the unique experience I've never had in a michelin starred restaurant, throughout my meal I was pestered by beggars asking for money, fantastic
Birthday dinner
We selected Adrian’s restaurant for my birthday dinner. The food was excellent and the pairing wines worked with each course. overall this was a really good tasting experience at a reasonable price.
Be the first to ReplyNowhere better for lunch in Palma!
I have dined at Adrian Quetglas on quite a few occasions for both Lunch and Dinner.
Lunch is always my favourite due to the relaxed warm and friendly service and the exceptionally well priced tasting menu which changes regularly enough that every meal is a completely new experience. During the summer months their terrace is a welcome place to dine so worth requesting when booking.
I would highly recommend and will of course be returning again soon! Gracias
Thought about this review for long time. .. .
So I thought about this review for a long time. . .
Came here for parent's 50th wedding anniversary. Restaurant called day of to confirm reservation and female person asked "any food restrictions" to which I replied my father had heart transplant so cant eat anything raw or mayonnaise or aioli based for example. We were at airport traveling to Palma... my wife said after I had hung up let me call (even though that technically isnt food restriction) and tell them I am vegetarian/pescatarian and she called 5 mins later and a man answered with whom she spoke. We thought everything was in order.
We show up and when we re-confirm our "food restrictions" (btw being vegetarian for us is not food restriction like peanut allergy lets say but maybe language diff but I am fluent in Spanish so oh well) and the server seemed incredulous that we had a vegetarian person with us as he stated "this is not possible." He went to talk to manager and came back out and said they couldnt prepare any veggie dishes for my wife. In other words they couldnt prepare a veggie option. I felt like leaving.. .. as they seemed intractable on this. We stayed but we should have left. With the cost and price that we paid this is not what should have occurred at the very least they should have comp'd something which they didnt. My wife and I have eaten at world's best restaurants so we are not novices to the gastronomic world... .food was great but this initial experience left a sour taste in my mouth. Like I said I thought about this long and hard as we visited in Sept 2021.
Would we come back .. .yes as we always believe in second chances. .. but Palma is blessed with amazing restaurants so we shall see if we come back (we visit often to palma)
A must go to when in Palma or on the island
We came for the lunchtime set menu and it’s highly recommended! So cheap in comparison to other places for such exceptional food and service!
We were blow away by the beauty of the food, some dishes felt like bits of art!
Go if you’re in palma… you won’t regret
Fabulous Restaurant!
Absolutely brilliant dining experience, wonderfully hospitable staff, incredibly accessible pricing. I have recommended this restaurant to all my friends that are visiting Mallorca.
