Delicious brunch place!! The mimosas were tasty and strong
Delicious brunch place!! The mimosas were tasty and strong (with lots of champagne!) that my group was so happy about! They have the BEST GLUTEN FREE PANCAKES I have ever found!! They were absolutely amazing and I have yet to find a place in Columbus that makes gluten free pancakes this good. The French toast, fruit, eggs, bacon - everything was delicious! I will say I don't recommend the pork sausage as it had a weird taste to it, but it was still edible. We went on a Sunday at 11:30 AM - SUPER busy time to go but the service was amazing. They were attentive and on top of their game!
Be the first to ReplyFirst time going to Another Broken Egg Cafe.
Almost every table was taken on a Saturday morning but you can add your name to a wait list before going which is helpful since they do not take reservations. The food was good but very expensive. I had the supreme omelet with hash browns and an English muffin. It was good but will try something different next time. Soooo many choices to choose from. The server was very friendly and didn't rush us to order.

the food was good but the service stink a server by the name of drea was rude and racist she made me really upset. me and my kids was truly upset with the service when we was told this was a great restaurant. hopefully they will fix the issue with that server real soon...
Be the first to ReplyLet's start with the ambiance.
It is packed so definitely use the online waitline to safe some time. It is loud and people have no room to wait so if you unlucky and seated near the entrance people will stand next to you. Makes it very uncomfortable. Service was ok nothing great but fast and efficient. Food. Oh boy. Well I had the crab cake egg Benedict and eggs were overcooked, English muffin was mush under all the crabcake. Crabcake was truly not good. It was dry so it fell apart. Hollandaise Sauce was ok but overpowered the crabcake. Same for the large amount of green onions on it. Overall just not a good dish. Chocolate pancakes was nothing special Bacon was overcooked to the point it was just crisp. Very disappointed and we gave it now 3 times a try and every time we was not impressed for the price and the hype. Better off going to first watch!
Be the first to ReplyI met two friends at 9:00 am on a Saturday.
No wait. We shared shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and cinnamon roll French toast which comes with cooked-to-your-choice eggs and meat of your choice. The shrimp and grits had a great consistency but lacked flavor. The waffle was cooked just right with crispy yet fluffy. The chicken had too much breading and could have used more flavor. Nothing special about the scrambled eggs but the bacon was perfectly crisp. The cinnamon roll French toast came with cream cheese and caramel frosting, berries, and whipped cream. It was delicious but very heavy and filling. I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu!

A rep stopped in at my office and gave me some info on their catering offerings, along with a free beignet coupon. When my husband and his brother needed a breakfast idea, I told him about Another Broken Egg Cafe. The rep talked so highly about it, and were always up for new things, so they tried it out. It was quite possibly the worst meal they've ever had. I was told: The beignets were overcooked and dried out, the dipping stuff was solid gelatin of some sort." My husband loves donuts and he didn't eat them. That's saying a lot for him. His brother took one bite of his food and didn't finish eating because it was just not good. The eggs Benedict was also not good. Overall, I would not recommend.
Be the first to ReplyThey food was amazing very flavorful and hardy.
My server was very nice and attentive but she seems as if she was ready to go the whole time, only smiled when I handed her the tip. The layout was crowded, but very clean and welcoming. Not an easy place to navigate through when you're larger in size. I wouldn't suggest if you had a large party.

The food was excellent, lots of choices, and the place was packed! The ambiance is loud so it's good for kids and groups but service was a tad bit slow but the servers were all very friendly. I highly recommend this place for out of towners because then you can go shopping at Easton!
Be the first to ReplyI am not a breakfast person at all, if I don't have
I am not a breakfast person at all, if I don't have breakfast I don't really care, AT ALL! But if I come here to have breakfast or brunch, I know I'll enjoy it. This is a cute restaurant, with a nice vibe and modern structure, the lines can be long to get a table but if you don't mind to wait, just do it. Even though my food was not amazingly good (maybe this one is not the best they have) I enjoyed it but being honest is a weird version of huevos rancheros, I expected something different, but it was not terrible. I think the drinks are pretty tasty and the bartender that day (11/19/2023) was super kind and friendly. If you are a brunchaholic you might enjoy this one.
Be the first to ReplySecond time here and it's worse than the 1st time.
My food was burnt and over done, the waitress knew it was as well because when she came back to bring us butter she threw it on the table and ran. I had to yell to get her attention to come back to at least fix my eggs that were extremely over done. The food was awful and service was worse.

Citrus, Honey & Fig pancakes Fig cream-layered triple stack pancakes Citus-Fig compote fresh strawberries served with two eggs any style & baked bacon. It's best to go within the first 3 hours of opening if you go anytime after that there will be a wait, try to go before noon so you don't have a two-hour wait.I arrived this morning at 8:40 I was leaving by 9:40 which there were several families waiting to be seated and the dining room was full, there was sitting at the bar and the two top tall table I had just exited was going to be available but most people that were waiting were parties of 4 or more. So please go early
Be the first to ReplyI'll start this review by saying that I've intentionally
I'll start this review by saying that I've intentionally avoided this place because of past reviews. With all of the hype and new reviews that I've seen, I decided to give it a try. We arrived at 10:16 and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. This is where the fun starts - we weren't acknowledged until 11:00. Multiple servers passed by and made eye contact, but wouldn't say anything. One server passed by and awkwardly said "hi" and walked away. I finally got up and asked a server if anyone knew that we were even there (obviously they did). Come to find out, our waiter was up front talking to the hostess. Drew finally came to our table and said, "I'm so sorry... I was obviously somewhere that I shouldn't have been" and asked for our drink order. I ordered the cafe amore, my wife ordered the salted caramel spiked cold brew, and my grandmother ordered the orange mimosa. Let me be clear - do not drink these on an empty stomach! My cafe amore (frangelico, makers mark bourbon, with a splash of coffee) was ROUGH to drink. I had about two sips of it before calling it a day. I don't expect mugs full of straight liquor for brunch, but this is definitely the place to go if that's your thing! The salted caramel cold brew was strong as well, but delicious and tolerable! The mimosa had a *splash* of orange juice. Our meals came out shortly after by another waiter. When I ordered I specified that I wanted to substitute my English muffin for fresh fruit. Apparently that wasn't communicated well by me because I had to wait another 20 minutes to actually get the potatoes. I asked the guy who brought out the food and had to ask someone else 20 minutes later. Our server came by once to check on us. I'm so used to servers immediately coming over to check and make sure we've received everything. This isn't priority here. I ordered the sunrise spinach scrambler (with fresh fruit and potatoes). The fresh fruit and potatoes were the star of this dish! The fruit was so fresh and tasted amazing. Unfortunately the scrambler did not meet up to any expectations that I had. There is a huge difference between fresh spinach in your eggs and frozen spinach from the grocery store. My entire meal tasted like freezer spinach! My grandmother ordered the sausage and fennel omelette. She's not too hard to please, but immediately pointed out the unreal amount of grease on her omelette. I'm not sure if it was due to the cheese or sausage, but I have never in my life seen a greasy omelette. She ended up eating it and I 110% guarantee that it was because she did not want to wait another hour for a meal. She loved the potatoes, as well.My wife ordered the Cinnamon Roll French toast and was not impressed. I thought it was delicious, but she said "I can smash down some canned cinnamon rolls at home and they would probably taste the same". She refused to touch the sausage that came with her meal because it was burnt. She ordered eggs over medium and that seemed to be the only thing right this entire meal. The waiter finally came back after we stacked all of our plates... about another 30 minutes after we were done eating. He asked if we were ready for the check and we said yes. We probably would have done another round of drinks, but at this point we didn't care to wait anymore. Overall, I was not impressed. I think service probably would have been better if we sat at the bar, but that doesn't make up for any of the food. They don't seem short staffed considering everyone just stands around and talks to each other. It just seems like a lot of "new" people or people who just don't care. I really wanted to like this place and thought giving it a try was only fair, but I deeply regret it.
Be the first to ReplyBusy busy busy! Another Broken Egg is new to the Columbus
Busy busy busy! Another Broken Egg is new to the Columbus brunch scene. It was getting readied when we visited Columbus in December, so not sure when the place opened between then and end of March. This place is a National chain, with most locations in the south. This sort of explains the New Orleans Cajun creole bent to menu items. We got the biscuit beignets to start. I also got the sausage and fennel omelet, which is served with potatoes. It was good overall. The beignets were a little doughy--thus the biscuit. My spouse got the lobster Brie omelette and said it was super delicious.Service was a bit slow. We had a high schooler and my bet was this was his first job as a waiter. We were sitting at our table for a while before our server came around. Also, he didn't come back often to check on us or refill our coffee. It seemed to be the same for his other tables.
Be the first to ReplyIf I could give this place 0 stars I would.
we put our name in they said 45 minutes. Then we asked after an hour they said another 30. Then after we waited that they made us wait ANOTHER 30. We finally went back up she said another 20. We left, we literally put a reservation in online and they said the call aheads get to cut everyone in line. We had to stand in between the doors while it was freezing because they have no where to wait. The employees were rude and clearly didn't know how to do their job because they were so frazzled and confused every time we went up about the time. They need to set realistic expectations for their wait times because I will not be trying to get into there again. Terrible service 0/5.
Be the first to ReplyI wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I did not
I wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I did not think the wait and $$ was worth it. I will probably give it another try, just not anything soon.- grits were really good, I added cheese- gravy (or meal) seemed to have been sitting out for a bit...food was cold and the gravy was solidified- egg was cooked perfectly- biscuit was super hard on the outside, it was hard to cut with a knife..- the one strip of chicken was definitely not enough (after being told the sandwich was really large)- I liked the atmosphere- witnessed a worker put the ringing restaurant phone into a drawer instead of answering it.....I have never witnessed such behavior- we were told it would be a 30 minute wait after we arrived and had our name on the waitlist before arriving, 30 minutes turned into 1 hour. I understand wait time can change when busy but we ended up sitting at the bar instead because we couldn't wait any longer and didn't trust the times we were being told.

Located in the Old Panera location at Easton, this breakfast/brunch/lunch spot is a super cute update to the old space. I was excited to try the Crab Cake Benedict with the andouille-infused hollandaise and the beignets. I hate to say it, but there was no hint of andouille anywhere in the hollandaise or on the plate. In fact, it was quite bland, sparce on the benedict, and added nothing to the meal. The only real flavor came from the crab and the green onion. The biscuit beignets were definitely biscuits rolled in powdered sugar. The apricot marmalade added a nice flavor to the dense dough. If you are expecting traditional beignets, change your thinking. My husband got the triple stack pancakes with a side of sausage and hashbrowns. We were both surprised when a dish containing a fried ball appeared, which was their take on hashbrowns. The hashbrown ball had good flavor with sweet ham inside, though. The sausage was probably the most flavorful thing we received.Overall it was a decent breakfast with pleasant service. Would I be begging to return? No. Would I come again? Probably.

Food and cold brew was delicious and staff was courteous. Thank you!
Be the first to ReplyHad breakfast on a Saturday morning.
We were seated quickly and our server Natasha quickly obtained our order. My mother had the lobster and Brie omelet with grits. I had the skinny omelet with fruit and an English muffin. Both omelets were delicious. Good flavor, fresh ingredients, and the portions were also of a decent size. The atmosphere was upbeat, and everything was clean. All staff were friendly and attentive. I'd recommend Another Broken Egg Cafe for anyone looking for a wide range of breakfast options.

Summary- Loud, pricey, good service, great varieties, well prepared food, long wait times. Our first visit was on a Sunday morning at 9am. We used the online waitlist (see pic) to see 15-25min wait. Upon arriving we were immediately found on hostess list and seated promptly. Tables are close. Place was clean. Restroom also a bit small but clean. We Yelp checked in on the free wifi(see pic). Our friendly server greeted us with glasses of water, and suggested some house cocktails (see pic). We ordered a 2 pancake item (see pic) from the Indulgence menu, while we perused the menu. We started to notice how loud (see pic) it was, and changed seats closer together so we could speak. The carrot cake pancakes were very delicious and not in need of syrup. After a long wait, and asking about others being served around us, our food arrived. The crab cakes (see pic) had a strong seafood smell and large amounts of crab without all the filler. Poached eggs were perfect, and the muffins were toasted great. I found the flavor a bit bland, and notice other patrons using the salt and peppers. I tried out the house pepper (see pic) sauce and found it a bit too sweet for my liking. I upgraded my grits side to the house recipe City Grits (see pic) with tomato, bacon and green onion. You know I made this meal better with Fire Dust flavor. Price was a bit high for the community. More in line with Hotel dining. I now know everything to expect, and will return to sample other items around the menu. My wife found her entree to be very Keto friendly.
