Aria Tuscan Grill Charlotte Reviews
Great food, great wine, GREAT SERVICE!!!
While on a quick weekend anniversary trip to Charlotte, the hubby and I popped in for a quick bite and drinks. From the minute we sat down at the bar we were met with big smiles and a warm welcome. Olivia and Salim were our bartenders and we couldn’t have asked for better service! Great food, great wine and THE BEST service!!! This place is a must try!
Great for private events
This is a great place for larger private functions. Wonderful bar space and roomy seating are. We had great service from Jennifer. Food was good from the set menu but the pork osso bucco was dry.
Fantastic Experience!
Aria was fantastic! From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of excellent. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was prepared with great care and full of flavor. The wait staff was not only attentive but also fun, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. What stood out even more was the personal touch. The manager came by our table to check in, and we had a delightful conversation with her. It was clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority at Aria. They even validated our parking. We would definitely go back and highly recommend Aria to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience!
$7 for flat water!!!????
Girlfriends and I have frequented Aria a couple of times each year when we attend shows at Blumenthal Performing Arts. We went again last night and even though the service and food were good, they have priced themselves out of the "girl's night out". The server asked if we wanted flat or sparkling water, we chose flat because it's always complimentary, and we were ordering wine that was quite pricey. When it came time to pay the bill, we found that we were charged $7 per bottle for the water and we never asked for refills, just ridiculous! We will be finding another pre-show restaurant for dinner in the future!
Good...but...
The food was good, just not enough if you are hungry. It's loud! So don't go if you need to have a conversation. Our server was fine, amazingly everything we ordered was "the best on that part of the menu". Not the best Italian I've ever had, but certainly not the worst either.
Great Italian Food in Charlotte
Excellent food, drinks, anda service. I highly recommend. Enjoyed dinner with a group from work and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Yummy food, beware of the Hoverer
Would have been five stars if it wasn't for the inconsistent service! Hubby got the meatball appetizer, which he adores, and it didn't disappoint this time either. I got some sort of arugula salad with beets - I don't know why I did that, I hate beets - but wait, this was good! Hey! I like their beets, and I like their salad! Hooray! We each got a pizza - He got the "red" pizza, and I got the "green" pizza. So good! So...no complaints about food...we enjoyed it. The server...it was a little disconcerting in that he seemed to have three tables and we were all right next to each other..so he just hovered..behind the tables..walking fifteen feet one way and then back, and then back.. I literally had put the last bite of salad in my mouth and was chewing (fork in my hand), when he swooped to take my salad plate: "All finished, ma'am?" But then..here he was hovering, and he never realized or asked if we wanted drink refills...so our glasses remained empty. Then with the other two tables, he went into long, detailed descriptions about the dessert menu, describing the tiramisu, etc....with us, it was a very quick "Any coffee?" It was just weird -- he was overbearing at first, then he couldn't care less. Yeah, I'll go back, but I hope to not get the same server.
A place to go back to
Great food, great service and nice environment. A place to come back to anytime if you like these type of food. Interior very nice too
Go elsewhere.
Showed up on a weekend getaway and this was close to our hotel. When we arrived we did not have a reservation so we could either wait until 8 for a resrvation or at the bar which is first come first served, a public table ( think of a long table with about 6 chairs) or a small table by the kitchen door. I 100% expected that for a Friday night. We chose to eat at the bar, but upon pulling the chairs back we were told that the spots were reserved for VERY VIP’s and showed to the corner of the bar next to a very nice gentlemen busy trying to fix their T.V. Food might have been good but the service from the staff because EVERYONE was busy sucking up to Big Daddy AT THE BAR was not. It made the whole thing a hard pass. If you are visiting the area i would recommend buffalo wild wings. They have to KNOW YOU to get any type of average service here.
Mid week business trip
Happy hour bite menu is limited but a nice option. For dinner, we both had pasta. We ordered the focaccia but bread came to the table too! Food was great as well as the service.
