Good food & big portion.
The place to go if you like traditional, hearty Korean meal. Always come here with friends and family. Good to take out too. Greatly satisfied.

Asian Jewels - a stately doyenne in the midsts of the shifting winds of the Flushing food scene. Grand, aged, but still commanding a presence with it's enormous spaces, valet parking in a parking-challenged area, and solid dim sum and banquet fare. Been coming here for over 10 years.I've rarely had to wait for a table for dim sum, and it wasn't because they were packed - they are just that efficient. My last visit was on Christmas day, where we were rescued from a potentially terrible evening by some delicious Cantonese fare - lots of seafood, tasty vegetables and we made sure to round out the meal with fried rice and lo mein.Been coming here for over 10 years, and hopefully for many years to come.

Came here for dim sum on a Sunday morning and it was really good. Servers come around with push carts with various food items and you just pick out whatever you want. There's valet parking directly adjacent to the restaurant which was very convenient. It was very crowded when we got there and it is a bit of a chaotic uncoordinated madhouse while waiting to be seated at a table but thankfully the wait wasn't that long.

for Flushing. You can get better tasting Chinese food for less money at other dim sum restaurants. The mandatory 15% tip for dim sum is also surprising.

Food was really good!! Went there for the dim sum, chicken feet, wantons and the Peking pork chops!

Love the dim sum here, but Saturday is super busy, if you're coming with your family it's better to call for reservation in weekdays.
Be the first to ReplyI attended a brunch with 40 other hungry women.
I'm not a fan of Chinese cuisine and tend to lean more towards Japanese food. With that being said I agreed to attend the brunch in hopes there would be something on the menu that didn't contain pork. Unfortunately there were very little choices but I managed to find three different types of dumplings that contained shrimp and veggies or only shrimp. So far so good...right? Wrong! The bloody manager was rude and quite obnoxious when I asked if I could get another helping of the dumplings containing only shrimp. First of all she yelled at me like I was her child. I normally have a very short fuse when dealing with the level of ignorance. But because I was with a group of no nonsense Women I decided to step back and allow Gestapo Lin Yin do her thing. Honestly I was not impressed by the food nor the service. This was my first time eating Dim Sum and most definitely my last. There are other restaurants in Flushing that have better service, food and reviews. I will never eat at this establishment again. NEVER EVER!
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best dimsum I've had in NYC.
It's authentic with the ladies that goes around with their own cart full of dimsum! It's heaven lol this place is great for big parties! And service is really great. They're very nice and always smiling, although they can be a bit intimidating because of all the dimsum that they have all you gotta do is ask! Can't wait to come back there soon!

Asian Jewels looks like a standard dim sum banquet hall, which was crowded with large groups of families when I came for. I ordered an assortment of dim sum dishes along with a shrimp and walnut platter (not pictured). The dim sum was a bit below average; dishes came out kind of cold and the taste wasn't as good as other places I've tried. I'd say the shrimp and walnut dish was good with a lot of shrimp but it was also 30-something dollars. The service was also inattentive and it took a while to get our check. Halfway through the meal, they even requested us to move tables so they could combine our former table with another one to make space for a larger group! Within flushing, I think I can get better tasting Chinese food for less money.
