Atlas The Restaurant Fayetteville Reviews
We had an anniversary dinner here tonight and WOW! Food
We had an anniversary dinner here tonight and WOW! Food was superb. My husband enjoyed his duck. Their small patch homemade ice cream and little fruit cube were some of the best desserts I have ever had. Mason, our waiter, was very prompt, knowledgeable and top notch. I highly recommend asking for him as your server! The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is because I am a Filet fan. The ribeye I ordered was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I just wish filet was an option.

First visit to Atlas was a Wednesday evening dinner with drinks. Only two in our party. I had to park a couple blocks away due to very limited patron spaces from what I could tell. The patio is quite lovely but we didn't sit there due to high heat. The decor and lighting were desirable and seemed to accommodate a variety of options from couples to small groups perhaps. Cozy velvet chairs and sofas formed small conversation areas near the bar for cocktails I suppose. I think I recall music playing over speaker but not sure. I would have loved an acoustic guitarist or keyboard player tucked away in the corner. Sitting at the bar to eat small offerings such as a tiny summer spinach salad and accoutrements with Angels Envy Bourbon was enjoyable. This is not a Bourbon I can find everywhere. Beyond that and bread, I'm afraid my limited palette couldn't enjoy any other menu items that did look beautifully presented. I didn't get a welcoming energy from the bar staff though. A young lady and man did make sure everyone had what they needed, but I didn't see a smile the whole time. I am a very petite lady and I did find the bar chairs to be quite high and somewhat hard for me to climb into. Perhaps a table in the dining room would've been more comfortable.
Atlas is one of my favorite restaurants in NWA.
Each experience outshines the last. My wife and I enjoyed the following dinner together. All the dishes were spot on.

What is there to say - only that this is a phenomenal restaurant. Called Atlas because the Chef owned establishment is inspired by cuisines from around the globe. The menu changes quarterly based on the availability of the freshest ingredients. The salads were incredibly fresh. The Summer Salad with arugula was delicious. Same for the Heirloom Tomato Salad. Our entrees were perfect. The Pompano was moist and flaky. The Steelhead Trout was delicious. The pork chop nothing less than stupendous. The under layer of vegetables crisp and flavorful. The presentation was beautiful. Mason was our server and he enhanced the menu with his descriptions. His recommendations were on target. The building is historic and the interior so nicely done. This is a perfect place for a special occasion.
Great food and great service
My wife and I went to Atlas on our date night. The food was amazing. The rabbit tortellini might have been one of my favorite appetizers. I've had in a long time. The duck portion was generous for the main entrΓ©e. The drinks were complex and balanced. Our server (Bailey) was outstanding. We will definitely make this part of our date night rotation. A+
i have visited a few times now and also taken customers.
one of which is a true food person. he has mentioned to me several times since how he enjoyed the restaurant, the food and the service.
My wife and I have been here quiet a few times.
Definitely one of if not the best restaurants in Fayetteville. Great service ambience, service and presentation. I would give it 5 starts, but I feel the food is a solid 4/5 and priced for 5/5. That being said, if you are looking for upscale dinning in Fayetteville this is by far the best option.
This was our first time visiting Atlas.
We enjoyed every minute of our dining experience. We made a reservation ahead of time and were seated right away. All of the servers were kind, sincere and accommodating. The actual restaurant is beautiful! My husband and I enjoyed our cocktails very much! We shared two appetizers, ordered two entrees, and shared a desert. Honestly, it's the best meal I've ever had. We were celebrating my 40th birthday, and our waitress brought out complimentary sorbet and champagne! Oh, and we also loved the little complimentary tastings from the chef that were given to us throughout our meal! Needless to say, we will be back!
Inviting, relaxing and premier
The appetizers, salads and desserts were lovely! The ribeye was disappointing, as it was not the best cut of meat. We won't choose that again. We are looking forward to another visit with a rotation of the menu!
Second visit to Atlas was a disappointment.
Food under prepared, ordered the lamb medium rare and it was rare. My wife's Short Rib arrived cold. We lied to the waiter because we don't like conflict. I thought this was the place in Fayetteville, I'm not sure. For the price proceed with caution.
Wonβt disappoint!
Atlas never disappoints! The atmosphere is relaxing and everything is absolutely beautiful. Services always on point. Best oysters in NWA.
The Atlas is a nice and intimate restaurant that is great
The Atlas is a nice and intimate restaurant that is great for a cozy dinner with your favorite person. The restaurant has an upscale atmosphere that adds to the experience. The food was excellent with good flavors and cooked properly. Our server was very good, knowledgeable, with a nice demeanor. The wine selection is a bit narrow, but the ones offered are, for the most part, quality wines. We will return to this very nice place. You can't go wrong dining at the Atlas.
This was perfect from start to finish.
The staff were wonderful and the ambiance was stunning. Everything we ordered was done so beautifully, and the drinks were delicious. Would definitely recommend supporting this restaurant. It is one that you don't want to miss.
Atlas didnβt shrug!
CRIMINALLY GOOD | βββββ Let's talk about the night I ruined all other dining experiences for myself. The quiet luxury of this place hits different, especially with Sara orchestrating your evening like a culinary conductor. The walleye crackled, the lobster was summer-sweet, but that black cod? It was butter masquerading as fish, and I'm still not over it. Dessert played like a delicious game of "But wait, there's more!" β each layer a new surprise. Pro tip: Ask for Sara. Leave your diet at home.
Big Bubble even Bigger Bust
The atmosphere is great. Very boujee, however the service from Lauren was horrible. She was rude and insulting. All of the oysters were good,β¦.. but one,β¦. it was rancid.
Dinner with friends
Service was excellent food was definitely different than the norm. Apps were good, ambiance is great. Great place to go with couples
Fayettevilleβs Finest
Atlas was 5 star! We had reservations for a special family anniversary. The hospitality was kind, attentive, yet discreet, while allowing family to enjoy conversation and the amazing food. Dishes were bright, flavorful, had amazing texture and great portions! I look forward to returning to try other menu items!
Lauren was outstanding!! Having dietary restrictions
Lauren was outstanding!! Having dietary restrictions stinks but she made it easy, took on the challenge with kindness, and even made it fun! Dinner was so amazing. I could not be more grateful!
Nice place with good ambience.
Date night vibes for sure. Went early because of reservation times but I bet the ambience is even better after dark. Food was excellent. They give you a palate cleansing bite to start off which was good. We got the bread for two which was two different kinds with butter. Cooked very well. Wife got the bass and I got the prosciutto wrapped veal. Both on point. Got the brussel sprouts and mushrooms as sides and the mushrooms were AMAZING!! Server was on top of everything and didn't miss a beat. Highly recommend!! Sorry I forgot photos but we definitely cleaned our plates!!
Red Snapper was awesome.
Service was great and atmosphere was super. We will definitely return.
Fancy restaurant.
High quality. Nice rotating menu. Great date place. Has great bar entrance area.
This was my first visit to Atlas and I have to say I was
This was my first visit to Atlas and I have to say I was very impressed. They have obviously taken a lot of time and effort into getting the ambience and service right. I cannot remember our servers name but I wish I could as he did an amazing job. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, served us flawlessly and made us all nine of us feel very welcome. As for the food, the plating/presentation was fantastic. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The only regret I have is not dining at Atlas until now!
Easy to see why this is considered the hottest table in
Easy to see why this is considered the hottest table in town. Perfection from start to finish guided by affable staff. Amuse-bouche was great, ceviche was great, bread with the special butter was great, tuna, pheasant, cheese, dessert, et cetera--a memorable meal.
I wish there were more restaurants like Atlas.
We had a fantastic time. The food and cocktails were excellent. Loved the interior and the people watching. I would come back to Fayetteville just to eat here.
Dreamy
Amazing. Servers are always knowledgeable & efficient. Food always on point. Cocktails phenomenal. Dessert is delicious. Ambience is top notch.
Everything amazing.
Drinks, appetizers, entree, dessert and service. Par excellence in every aspect.
Finally getting in my review after 2 dinners here.
First in July was an anniversary reservation, and the occasion was acknowledged by the server and celebrated with a complementary glass of champagne. We were seated at a two top in the dining room which is casually elegant and comfortable. Specialty cocktail options are great, as is the wine even by the glass. On this day we shared the escargot appetizer which was my only disappointment. Each bite was on a little round of potato, which did not complement the flavor of the escargot, and the potatoes were still far too firm. I love escargot and always looking for that herbed butter richness that accompanies it, so I did not like this preparation. The entrΓ©es however were beautifully executed - I think we had one red snapper and one sea bass. Service was attentive and efficient without ever being intrusive. We did not save room for dessert, but they bring out a complementary tiny macaron and fruit jelly which is such a wonderful touch. I came back in to dine by myself at the end of September and had a really fantastic server who didn't seem to mind my indecision initially where to sit then what to order, but made sure that I got comfortable and had water, a cocktail, and some very tasty bread while I decided on dinner. Dining alone I had the steelhead gravlox prepared in house and then the foie gras oxtail ravioli, both off of the appetizer menu. Beautiful flavors and presentation and the perfect serving size for me. Again, no room for dessert but enjoyed the complimentary sweet bite at the end. As someone who appreciates fine food and knowledgeable, well trained, efficient service I am a fan of Atlas, and will always consider coming here to treat myself. Only Vetro 1925 and Isabella's are in the same league here in Fayetteville.
The food was absolutely delicious.
. our service was great and we love the restaurant ambiance. People come in for just a drink, some dine at the bar; it is open late. Feels like a true 'big city' dining spot.
Finest restaurant in NW Arkansas
My husband and I hadnβt been back to Atlas since COVID. We were originally attracted to it when we learned they serve wild game. When we saw that there was bison loin on the menu we couldnβt wait to try it. It was done with perfection and artfully presented with sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts. This restaurant is so special, it makes you feel like you are in a boutique restaurant in New York. My husband also devoured the bison tartare. I enjoyed the super fresh arugula salad. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with so much charm coming from the chefβs motherβs antique shop, French Metro on Dickson Street. We enjoyed the meal so much that we did a repeat yesterday and asked for Keisha to again be our server since she is so helpful and makes great suggestions. Treat yourselves like we did. It feels like a mini vacation.
Try This This Amazing Restaurant!
Dining at Atlas is an experience not to be missed. The upscale food, the building aesthetic and the staffβs consciousness are the right ingredients to enjoy the perfect meal. Chef Elliott exhibits his global culinary experiences in the dishes he prepares, making use of many locally sourced ingredients which adds freshness and good flavor. My husband and I were fortunate to have the opportunity to taste two of his seasonal menus and neither disappointed. Although there are several great meat choices on the menu, we were especially pleased to see more than one fish selection. The fish dishes were each delicious and perfectly paired with sides but the true mastery was shown when I was served a whole fish that still looked intact but had been perfectly de-boned. We enjoyed several of the salads fresh and not overdressed; appetizer choices were diverse and delicious. With entree choices also so good we of course had to try desert and were not disappointed. All were pleasing to the palette without overwhelming. Atlas is truly an amazing dining experience!
Should be on the top of your list
Impressive restaurant with very creative menu executed extremely well. Funky mix of international haute cuisine (sweetbreads are amazing) and farm/ranch to table. Good wine list including wine by the class. Very fun cocktail menu. Great cheese selection. Service excellent but too fast! Appetizers came before the oysters. Main course came while first course was still being consumed. Needs some work here. Server knew the menu extremely well and had a view. Buy a round for the kitchen and staff when you order! ($8.00).
