Bacari W. 3rd Los Angeles Reviews from The Last Year
After a wonderful experience at Bacari Silverlake, my
After a wonderful experience at Bacari Silverlake, my family made reservations at this location for my second Mother's Day celebration. The entrance is a small opening between Byrdie's and Optical Sphere. It's difficult to see when driving by but so charming when you walk up to it. I especially love the passageway that leads to the vintage doors of the restaurant. We were seated in the garden area under the large tree. We ordered several dishes that I enjoyed from Silverlake and tried some new ones. I was only disappointed by the Feta Filo not being available. Otherwise, the family really liked the Egg Pizza (bacon added), Chipotle Chicken Wings and Bacari Fries. Service was great as our dishes were paced out perfectly. We had such a lovely time. My husband is already making plans to take me to another location.
The food is incredible.
My fiancé has celiac disease, we've gone here multiple times and she's never gotten sick from cross contamination. Recently we went here for our friends birthday and we received VIP treatment. Macai, the manager, waited on us for the night and his customer service amazing. He really went above and beyond to ensure that she had a wonderful experience for her birthday. We will definitely be coming back.
Bacari has good tapas like broccoli, and pork belly.
The fish was also good. The pizza was serviceable.
It was a really great ambiance and the food was immaculate.
Of course it's smaller portions so you would order with a group of friends or family and mix and match the different dishes. I went with about 6 people and we all paid about $30 each for 7 entrees. Drinks are fairly priced and the service was great. Our servers were very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. I think my only complaint is the layout as I it can seem a bit claustrophobic trying to navigate between tables, but I won't take points off for that as the venue space doesn't seem to be that large anyway. Also plus on design points for the different deck layers, the break in height adds to the openness of the space, compliments the higher ceilings and kinda alleviates some of that claustrophobic feeling I brought up earlier. This is extremely rare but for the overall experience, Bacari on 3rd gets the San Mora Stamp of Approval.
I love this place.
I have been to 3 different locations and they are all great. The chocolate cake is absolutely amazing and it just so happens to be vegan which makes it even better. I appreciate that there are vegan options, though it is not a vegan restaurant. The service is always quick, fun and professional each time I've gone. The ambiance is really cozy to me and I always like to have a meal there with friends and family that are dear to me.
The service here tonight was nothing shy of lousy.
First and foremost I made a reservation to sit inside. I was parked between two loud tables having birthday parties. When I sat down my table was sticky and it smelled of fish. The server came by with a spray bottle and cleaner and while cleaning the table sprayed my linen jacket and my shirt. This is not the end of the world but merely a nuisance. Then it took forever to get my order in, another 23 minutes for my food to arrive, and they only checked in once to see if I wanted another drink. I use to be a regular here and the service was amazing. I have no idea what the hell happened. I watched them catering to the two big parties while offering me service that was garbage. I don't think I'll be coming back.

Lindsey was a great server! Clearly a very busy place on a Friday night and was very sweet and accommodating of my gluten allergy!
It's nice when a place with great ambiance also has great
It's nice when a place with great ambiance also has great food, and above average, for LA, service. We did Bacari for brunch, and we weren't disappointed. I had the Benedict. It was perfectly prepared and delicious. Parking is a bit challenging, but that's LA! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I honestly would of gave a 3 star but I'm not going to let
I honestly would of gave a 3 star but I'm not going to let one bad experience lower what I believe they should be rated.... I came in for a birthday with a party about 12. Not the best place for a big party, definitely would probably get a better experience with a date or a small group. It's not a big restaurant but none the less they still were able to sit big parties. The ambience is really nice, it's actually would be a perfect date spot just because of how the place looks. Would reccomend sitting in their open roof area. The restrooms is probably the only worst part about the layout because there is never not a line to go use the restrooms. The food was really good. It is a tapas plate so don't make my mistake and just order one thing. I would of ordered more but I was just lazy to wait for more food. The dish I got is the Asian Pear Pizza which was amazing. I wish I tried more food, maybe next time. We also ordered the open bar option which is $37pp for unlimited beer, wine, and 2 ingredient cocktails (ex. tequila + pineapple). A tip for it that the servers don't tell you automatically is that the cocktails start off with only .5oz shot. They can give you more but if you ask. My first drink literally tasted like it had a drop of tequila in it. And the main reason I almost would of gave it a 3 was just the bad service. We were ready to order food for the longest. We've seen new tables get sat and order food before us. A majority of the time was our table just staring at each like "where is someone that can help us." Even when we got our first round of drinks the server didn't take our order. We finally ordered after we ordered our second round. Overall, I would go back for that pizza, probably just not this location. I hear Silverlake nice though.
Tiny tiny portions and service was really slow.
If youre there to just chat and drink might be okay
Interesting place.
Very pretty. Very LA. The LOUDEST restaurant I've ever been to. But the food was so good I'm craving to go back. Or try their other restaurant in Studio City, see if it's quieter. And as someone gluten-free, dairy-free, they were really good about options for me, which I always appreciate. So yeah. I recommend it. Also earplugs.
We came to Bacari W.
3rd.. the food was delicious.. ! Lindsey, our server gave us some great recommendations food & drinks.. patio atmosphere was nice too.. we will be coming back..!
Top 3 favorite restaurant in Los Angeles.
(Might even be my #1 ) This place not only has amazing service and ambience, but the food is phenomenal as well! I met the owner and I have to say, he's one of the nicest guys! I'd come back just to chat with him again! If you're looking for THE PERFECT date place... this is it.

I was in Los Angeles for work last month, and since I'm very much into food, my boss let me choose a restaurant for dinner the first night. I did some research and made a reservation for eight at Bacari W. 3rd, opting for a table outside. The menu features Mediterranean-influenced dishes by Chef Lior Hillel. I got compliments from my colleagues for finding a great spot for dinner in L.A. I say the compliments should go to the chef! Between the eight of us, I think we ordered 22 items - each of us ordered two for ourselves, and we selected a handful to share. They're small plates, but they're certainly not tiny and are definitely shareable. I tried the brussels sprouts, Noa's cauliflower, Asian pear & brie pizza, tripoline pasta, chef's salmon, scallops, shawarma tacos, and the mac & cheese. All in all, it was an exceptional meal. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that my colleagues wanted to do ice cream after dinner, and rather than make a push for us to stay for dessert at Bacari, I went along with them. The ice cream shop we went to was nothing special. I told a couple of L.A. friends to check out Bacari if they have not already. I would absolutely come back with friends, family, colleagues, or a date, and I will happily return on my next visit even if I'm traveling solo. P.S. The service was terrific as well. Our party was well taken care of.
Food is okay.
I enjoyed the ambiance and the service. Our server Erika was terrific! She was very attentive and nice. Will most likely come back just for the drinks which were really good.

I don't normally leave Yelp reviews but I had to after my time there last night. Monique was absolutely AMAZING. She was a delight, patient, and had all the answers to every question our party had. The food could have been better portioned but the service is what made the experience. Next time I am in town, I will definitely be asking for Monique!

THIS PLACE ROCKED MY ENTIRE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!! I loved every minute being there, the vibes, the food, the waiters, the set up...EVERYTHING!!!!!! I hate driving to LA , but it was worth it and I will definitely be back!!!!! We did the bottomless drinks deal WORTH IT!

If you're looking for new Mediterranean cuisine, this restaurant is great for that. I went there with my husband for brunch and the food was absolutely delicious! Although the portions are small, you can order more items to share with your friends or guests. The prices and service were both great, and I will definitely be coming back to this place again.
SLOW
While for the most part the food was good the atmosphere was extremely loud and the service was very slow. Our waiter apologized for all of the delays however it was difficult to overlook. We actually moved to another area because conversation could not be done with the amount of noise.
Best pita bread and dips!
Firstly, I loved the vibe and fit out of the restaurant, kind of like you're in a treehouse with mood lighting. We started with the Salatim (dips and pita) at my cousin's recommendation - he describe it as a "must have" and I had to agree. The bread and the dips were all delicious, I'm normally a big hummus fan but in this trio I loved the vegan cashew pate the most! We also had the burrata, shwarma tacos and bacon and double brie pizza. All were super good, except the pizza was a bit of a let down. I felt like the pizza was one I could just quickly make at home, I didn't really taste the brie at all and the bacon was just burnt. For dessert we had 'the best cake you've ever had' (yes that's the name on the menu). It was pretty tiny, so I'd recommend one each, it was definitely nice but don't think I'd say it's the best cake I've ever had by a long shot. For drinks I had a Royal Blood and Strawberry Fizz, both were nice and well-made cocktails. As for service, it was good at the start but did drop off by the end and we had to really flag down out waiter. Overall, I'd be very keen to go here next time I'm in LA.
Another canola oil restaurant, tiny portions, food entrees arrived staggered
I've been here 5 times. But this last time was not doing it for the table. Here's where they are lacking big time: 1. They use CANOLA OIL! Their fryer uses canola oil, a very cheap, highly inflammatory seed oil used to cut costs in the food and restaurant industry. For having such an affluent vibe, this was very surprising to the table. Please replace this cheap oil with something healthier (and no, not vegetable oil). 2. TINY PORTIONS. Portions are good for children or 100 pound women. I swear, they have gotten smaller. I had the Chef's salmon this time and got about 4 oz of salmon and 3 slices of zucchini. It's a joke. An old picture of the same meal in early 2023 was a larger portion with more vegetables on the plate. I get it, they are smaller portions, but even my gf got the steak and it was 4 tiny slices. 3. Service is usually fine, but last visit last night we were left alone for most of the time. The corner table near the door was cursed, we were left without water and they didn't give us a drink we ordered and by the time the server came back dinner was over. He was knowledgeable on which dishes were GF, and VP so that was nice. 4. The delivered the main dishes to the table periodically. Like every restaurant ever: appetizers first, then main dishes for everyone. But no... Not Bacari on 3rd. They delivered every single dish 5 minutes apart. With 4 of us, we had to wait 20 minutes for the last person's entree to arrive so we can all eat. By then it was all cold except for the last person. COME ON.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.

Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
