Cute little Boho Teahouse
Went here one weekday evening after a work meeting with a friend. It was very busy, but we were able to get a table right away. Friendly staff and good food/tea with decent prices including an all-you-can-drink teapot option. Try the "Fairies' Blood" tea, which was wonderfully herbal, and the cheesecake. I actually fell on the floor (they encourage taking your shoes off when you're in a pillow booth so socks and wood floor not a good mix) and the staff were very attentive and got me ice for my ankle (it's all good now, I'm just a klutz)- the staff were super lovely overall. The disappointing part were the boardgames- they could use a refresh. The one we played was broken/missing pieces. There are other board game cafes in Toronto that have a bigger selection of games and keep them updated/fixed as needed. That said, this place definitely has cool Bohemian vibes and is worth a visit.

Visited with a few friends on a Saturday evening. You have to take your shows off as you enter, so clean your feet before you go. I'its quite obviously an old house but is very comfy and set-out very interestingly. You can pay to play the board games or just get food and drink. They're plenty of vegan options. All the stay are cute hippies so that's fun. Definitely going to come back!

The full name of this place is Bampot Bohemian House Of Tea And Board Games, and it does live up to the name lol. There's tea. There's boardgames. And the whole vibe is screams bohemian. I wholeheartedly recommend Bampot.

This place is amazing! The place is well decorated, they have interesting paintings on the wall. They have a crazy amount of tea kinds. I also loved the concept, you take your shoes off when you enter to the cafe and you feel home
Be the first to Replyvery cute and cozy
My friend and I stumbled upon this place randomly. We thought it was just a tea house. When we first walked in, we were kind of confused because it looked like some tea ceremonial service. You have to take off your shoes before entering. The place is super cozy, as if entering into someones home. I love the atmosphere. They have an extensive list of teas. They also serve food and dessert. We didn't play any of the board games, but it was such a nice place to just chat and be comfortable. We ordered the cream of earl white tea and it was lovely!

Impressive repertoire of teas. If you enjoy more unusual teas this is a good place to find it. I chose a white tea. The ambiance is very laid back.

Great fun, not such a large selection of games. The hooka was great and the staff was very helpful as well.

I have a bit of an obsession with tea. Anyone who knows me learns this pretty quickly. So when I say the stuff here is good, I really mean it! The straight teas I've tried have all been fantastic. The blended teas, well some have been amazing and others just ok but keep in mind everyone has different tastes. Also, last time I went, they offered us a taste of Optimist Chai no charge! It was HEAVENLY. Like liquid mouse silk. Now, it takes awhile to make, the process is laborious... so expect to wait atleast half an hour. Also, I love their decor, and you can play board games if you wish! I've always gone with friends who I haven't seen in awhile so have never had a chance, but it IS on my to do list.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent tea and atmosphere
The tea was great, staff were amazing. The only disappointment were the games; they have a medium selection of games, and a few games that I picked were missing instructions, pieces, etc. Overall, I had a great time and would go again.
Be the first to ReplyGood idea, follow through needs improvement
Good selection of games. Overwhelming selection of teas. Service left a lot to be desired. Mostly the men working just stood or sat, talking to each other or smoking sheesha. They didn't have the tea my cousin ordered (cause it is a summer tea which they no longer carry... even though every menu had them) which no one told our waiter who came and asked us if he liked that tea and which no one told the cashier who tried to charge us for it. We never got to order desserts cause the waiters were all busy doing other things. Food looked like would be good but i have no idea.
