Wonderfully warming on a cold night.
Both risotto and lamb pasta plus vege sides were superb - beautiful blend of flavours. Managed to find room for divine desserts. Just perfect!

The place was very full but we managed to get a table. We ordered a bread as an entree and pasta for mains. My husband didn’t have time to finish his beer before the entree and mains were brought out together. When I questioned why, the waitress said we could use the bread to mopup the plate. If we wanted to do that we would have asked for that. Halfway through the mains she came back and asked if we wanted to see the desert menu. Ah no! Food was good but we were really hurried along which wasn’t a nice experience ( other tables were still ordering food at this time).

I would give this place 10 stars out of 5 if I could! The seafood was incredible; it was fresh, perfectly cooked, and seasonal. My other half who has a multitude of food intolerances and allergies was able to eat here comfortably. He had an absolute blast and practically licked his plate clean. The waitstaff were so friendly and looked happy to be at work (very rare). The ravioli was also amazing - it was fresh, filled with deliciously fresh crab, and served in a light bisque. We will 100% come here again. Cannot fault the place at all. A fantastic experience from start to finish.
Be the first to Replysuckliing pig - spanish tapas
didn't know what to expect when booking this restaurant - spanish tapas? spanish? We elected to have the tasting menu which was very generous, by the time the main event arrived - (roast pork) we were stuggling to fit it in. Unfortunately although the pork was absolutely tender, falling apart tender we found it lacking in taste completely.

Sadly no vibe. That carried over to the food. It was dark n dingy the tapas was straight out of the fridge. Cold n tasteless. Lamb was great. We were told we couldn’t order bread to soak up the lamb juice, as the kitchen was shut at2:05. I got up and went to the kitchen myself and ordered some. I was told the cook gets angry. Not a good look.
Be the first to ReplyThe jewel of Canberra
This is a jewel of Canberra: the food, the service, the presentation are outstanding. The fish of the day was trevally, cooked to perfection and my husband had the chicken which he devoured. Beautifully presented, I took a pic. If you feel like dessert, the $11 tasting plate is perfect for two. This is the second time we have been here and we enjoyed it so much more this time.

Had the set menu which was 6 or 7 tapas dishes, a main, and a cocktail each. Food was incredible and good value for money, and great service from the staff.

I can see why this restaurant has such high reviews. I had the seafood risotto at a family gathering and it was stunning. Full of different seafood and cooked very well. The portion size was just right. There is a fair amount of seating inside with just a few tables located on the footpath.

We visited this place for dinner. The food was average/ok definitely over priced for what it was. The staff were inexperienced and some of them with zero costumer service skills. I ordered coke in a bottle or can and specifically mentioned it a couple of times. I received flat coke in a glass, when I returned it the waiter started arguing that I just poured this from a can. He eventually changed it to what I ordered however he didn't take it very well. (He basically banged the replacement drinks on the table) The desert was probably the highlight of our night. Ordered 3 deserts, 3 teas and one coffee. All items came at different times 5 to 10 mins apart. One of the waiters was trying to put the boiling hot tea pot In front of my 4 years old kid. In general unhappy with out visit and won't go back. It was a rip off!
