Good michellin star food but I really can't stand the rudeness of the people. Try at your own risk if you like good food with terrible customer service.

After reading Michelin Guide recommendation we made an effort to find this place. It was nothing special. They seem to be hung up with their glory days and forgotten about the customers they have there and then. The food was okay, no English menu and the server/ owner could not care less. An Chinese couple next to us kindly helped out. The cutlery is nonexistent. We had to eat noodles with skewers as no chopsticks was provided. As the noodles are thick it’s difficult to eat with a spoon. The food was nothing special. The small place was busy and for approximately £6 we can’t really complain. Would not class it as a meal, it’s a snack at most.

The doggy noodle had an okay flavor but I found it to be very mushy in texture - kind of reminiscent of cafeteria food. The duck fake shark fin noodle was tasty but very simple and I don't think I would have a whole bowl of it. The lady running the place is very nice!

Getting here is not an easy task (if you are not local) but I had a picture of the front of the store and showed it to several business around the area and they kept pointing me to the right place- so we made it. They have the menu available in English so that was cool. I ordered the doggies noodles (fried pork fat noodles, pork skin and green onions) they were good! The duck soup (they claim they put 4 ducks to roast for hours to get that flavor) and actually has a fin soup texture without the actual fin. That was my favorite. And also we ordered the Chinese balls. Those took a few more minutes and the order is 4 of them: two fish and two pork. I liked those too. Of course there are no tables but our server arranged a few stool benches and made it comfy for us. There is a (kind of) AC outside that blows not-that-hot-air so we sat right in front of it so we could drink that soup at noon without melting lol The flavors were really good and I did enjoyed my meal. For $94 HKD (for two) it was a great experience. Our server was the sweetest of the ladies, we couldn’t speak each other’ language but we said enough to thank her. I recommend!
