Budd Dairy Food Hall ! on point!!
This place was great. Before taking my trip I researched places to eat and abide Dairy Food Hall popped up. I was taken by what the food hall had to offer. The atmosphere, the food choices and the actual food itself was great. On my first visit I decided to eat at Southern kitchen. The catfish, the kool-aid and the sides were hot from the pan and DELICIOUS. The next day I went and decided to try Cousins Lobster . The lobster Roll was buttery and mouthwatering. I highly recommend this establishment to anyway who plans on visiting Columbus, Ohio. The entire venue was a nice vibe. If I visit again I WILL stop by. LaTritia Miami, Fl
Be the first to ReplyGreat place for a fun night out
What a fun spot for a night out! There are three levels to keep you entertained with games and live music. There are bars on on three levels but you must order food from the first floor. There was a good selection of foods to keep our group satisfied. The drinks were very good too.
Be the first to ReplyRude Bartender
Rude bartender! He took 10 minutes to mansplain to two intelligent internet/cable savvy people about how Budd Dairy is not a sports bar....... but had sports on every TV in the place. I asked where the movies and soap operas, sitcoms, and crime shows were (at least 5 TVs so easy to mistake it for a sports bar) then if they are not a sports bar????? He berated 2 - 3 staff members in front of us....customers. He decided to school an Indian man on why he would not refill his glass when he simply asked for a refill ie: another. "Your bacteria will be everywhere if I refill your glass." We decided to finish our beer and leave, but at the last minute asked if the Rude Bartender would be upstairs.. it was confirmed that he was not going to be working upstairs so we had a few more drinks upstairs and watched some baseball. There, we met an intelligent smart staff person who was very appropriate. Even though we live in the area, we will re-think the decision to return. Instead of a stress-free Sunday afternoon, we got an anxiety-packed negative lesson on where to go the next time we have a free afternoon. Money ain't cheap!
Be the first to ReplyDiverse and delicious- something for everyone.
My daughter found this place on Tik Tok. A fun food experience with many choices of types of food and drinks available. An upscale food court with a more interesting vibe. We tried a Greek bagel bomb (Hatch/Bite This), Shrimp tacos (Cousins Maine Lobster) and a Black Raspberry Chip cheesecake (The Cheesecake Girl). All were delicious. We recommend!
Be the first to ReplyA rude staff member almost ruined our experience.
We took our granddaughter here to celebrate passing her finals at Ohio State. It’s a lovely and interesting place and the lobster and chicken entrees we chose were excellent. However we were disappointed when we took a seat at the bar to order beverages. The bartender was very rude and his language was inappropriate to customers. He seemed to have anger management issues so we quickly ate our meal and decided to move to the upstairs level where the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back but we will avoid the main bar.
Be the first to ReplyCool place, something for everyone
It’s a bit confusing upon entry. Is it a food court? a bar? How do you do things? But once you figure it out it’s all a good time. You can sit anywhere and then you order from whichever food vendor you want to partake from. A server will come around and get adult beverage orders and bring those to your table. What an amazing renovation of an old dairy and the rooftop bar is awesome. A fun place but don’t be in a hurry. It takes awhile for everyone in your party to decide on food and put their order in.
Be the first to ReplyQuick Hit, very nice!
Didn't stay long, just passing through. What a neat set up and very nice restored building! Great choices. Clean restrooms. Nice stairs. Elevators. Right across the street from a very cool brewery, Seventh Son!! Cool bar area for your rigged and scripted sports viewing. Root-top sounds very popular. Easy to navigate. We grabbed some road cheesecakes for the drive! The Cheesecake Girl! Very good! Solid service. Fair price. Will go again to do a sit-down, when we pass through the area!
Be the first to ReplySouthern food at its BEST!! Southern Modern Table is a must try!!
Three words - MODERN SOUTHERN TABLE!!! So freaking good!!! Their main dishes are good but the sides - have mercy - are amazing!!! The hush puppies, okra, yams and black eyed peas are to die for! Best southern cooking I’ve had in a very long time!!! Can’t wait to come back!!!
Be the first to ReplyModern Southern Kitchen
This was the best Soul food, I have had in about 10 years. I truly enjoyed the Budd Dairy Food Hall experience. The crowd was good. The atmosphere was relaxed, there was no loud music orvtelevision to interupt conversations. The staff at Modern Southern Kitchen, were friendly, welcoming, and personable. The waiter that took ourvdrinks, was friendly and understanding, that it was our first time there. 3

Here now with an old friend checking it out ( I’ve wanted to visit for the last year but parking is dicey.) We arrived about 425 and it opens at 4:30 on Tuesday. All the restaurants are so cute and the proprietors are very friendly. Glad to see the Cuban pop-up. We’re on the third floor in the bar area we’re going to order food. I have to say the young man who is behind the bar is very rude and does not know his wines very well. I guess we didn’t order beer on the draft. LOLL. And then he said because we could make up my mind this is not an upscale place so they have very limited wine selection. What is that supposed to mean? It’s worth a try but it is not the Cameron Mitchell signature experience end-to-end

Recommended by a friend. Easy to locate. Free parking. What a fantastic idea for such a large and unique place! Loved having a place where we could order something from everyone and have a spread of different cuisines to try. Quick service from everyone. Will return!

Hubby & I went here for lunch on Tuesday afternoon. Lots of offerings: I decided on Southern kitchen & Hubby ordered from Cluck Norris. Both were delicious!! Also got sweets to go. Lots of spaces to chill with rooftop enclosed & open areas. Several tables on different levels to play games & hangout.
Be the first to ReplyFood Court with Ten Restaurants
Budd Dairy Food Court is a Cameron Mitchell property where start up restaurants can set up to test out their food business. There are currently 10 restaurants with different venues available. We went especially to try Modern Southern Table. They specialize in low country dishes with a limited lunch menu with entrees of fried chicken two different styles, fried cat fish, and a selection of sides like Geechee red rice, collards, Mac and cheese, etc. Drink selection is very limited. The entrees are prepared fresh which entails a wait but worth while. I did find the chicken crust was a bit over cooked. The service was prompt and they notify you by text when your order is ready, I like that option because you can wander around the food court checking out other restaurant’s options including desserts. There are three floors of seating available including one heated outside. Full service bars are available. Off street parking is available.
Be the first to ReplyA must try!!!
The place is a very cool concept. Many food vendors under one roof. Fresh eclectic , super tasty food. One store changes every so often. Our pop up was a cheese cake store. Delicious bite sized tasty cheesecakes.in many flavors. There are 3 bars. One on the roof top. And the second level bar has skew ball. Ms pax man and other games. One being a new twist on old school Atari pong I highly recommend and we definitely will be. Back
Be the first to ReplyFood here is amazing!
I have been here multiple times now and never had anything bad to say about it! Food is excellent and almost tried every place in there. The Buffalo Soldier is great at Cluck Norris. Burgers at Alphabetical are great, Borgata pizza is awesome and on and on. Get there early when they open to get prime parking along the street. Rooftop bar area is great as well, also explore the building and find out some hidden gems/games.
Be the first to ReplyHip Spot for Lunch
This place was very popular and they had a waiting list to enter. Once you get in, there are multiple floors of tables that you can be seated at. A server helps with drink orders, but you order food via QR codes that lead you to websites or apps for the many food vendors inside. You pay on the website or app and receive a text message notification when your food is ready. You go to the counter to pick up your food. Our group ordered a few dishes from some of the vendors and shared the dishes. The ambience was fresh and inviting. Service was excellent.
