Fine Food At Ferrara
Excellent, modern locale in the heart of old Ferrara. Service was very efficient and hospitable and food was fine, filling and Ferrarese. Stick with The Valpolicella reds to accompany your Bavette Angus USA, a very healthy portion, as well as the salumeria antipasto. The gnoccho bread was delicious!

A dinner I will remember for a long time. Tasty cured meats, very light fried gnocco, incredible Ferrarese pasticcio, delicious salama da sugo and excellent typical desserts. We were full of expectations which were largely met and exceeded! Good wine list. Professional yet friendly service. For the level of this restaurant the price is more than adequate.
Lucky discovery
Discovered by chance, in fact from the outside you almost don't notice this refined and excellent restaurant. We ate very well, excellent dishes of traditional Ferrara cuisine, served by attentive and courteous staff. All good, starters, first courses, second courses and desserts. Excellent value for money. I recommend it
Elegance and quality at the top
Completely satisfied, elegant venue, hospitality and top service. Ferrarese pasticcio and cappellacci with truffle are delicious as is the crispy egg with truffle. A delight for the palate. Compliments!!

I had heard very good things about this restaurant and expectations were largely met. Friendly staff, present (but not intrusive), with a good knowledge of the dishes and very attentive to our requests. Excellent food, delicate and very good pumpkin tortelli, nest of truffle tortellini...a marvel...as second courses the cheek was special as was the salama with purée. Delicious desserts, the ricotta and pear cheesecake and the amaretti tart, I highly recommend them. Very positive experience, price adequate for the service. We will definitely return.

Cozy and elegant place. Pumpkin Cappellacci with truffle and ragù. Yummy! We tasted the salama da sugo for the first time, a particular flavor on a very light purée: very good. The fact that they offer a half portion is appreciable: that's already enough. The trifle was rich in cream and very well made, but the cake with ricotta and pear (recommended by a waitress whom I thank for this) was above all expectations! Good service, the only flaw, perhaps, is the short time between the first and second courses. Prices normal.
Quality Ferrara cuisine.
Ferrara cuisine in a glamorous setting. Attractive wine list and spirits trolley. Good sommelier. A special mention also for the desserts. Service generally ok (one of the girls was not in the evening, but it can happen). We understood that they had missed our reservation via email, but they promptly remedied it. Honest account for the quality.
Two steps in Ferrara
Location a little hidden from view. In the historic center but off the tourist route, not very suitable. If you don't get there you don't know where it is. Modern furnishings and young and enterprising dining room staff without being annoying. You can converse without having to raise your voice, excellent acoustics. A beautiful menu, with precise references to the Ferrara culinary tradition, but also dishes with pleasant innovative accents. Cellar not exaggerated in terms of quantity but with excellent local and non-local wines. All very good, I suggest the hot puff pastry with Parma ham and parmesan, a very pleasant surprise. Correct quality/price ratio.
Traditional cuisine
Tastefully furnished restaurant offering typical dishes of Ferrara cuisine. All excellent and served in a professional manner. I had pumpkin cappellacci with ragù and tagliolina cake, two classics and I was very satisfied. The value for money is also good. Advised!
