Cafe Via Flora Palm Beach Reviews from The Last Year
Nice location - but look for alternatives!
I was by myself for a quick lunch at this place. The service was lame and zero attentive. I had for a high price the smallest and most uninspired Cesar’s salad of my life. This is a “the winner takes it all“ place! I felt not welcome and was only a necessary element on the way to make revenue! Don’t get fooled by the nice location!
Love Cafe Flora, Palm Beach
Excellent food- Perfect location- 5 stars! Highly recommend. Wonderful experience for all. The courtyard is magical at night
Wonderful location, average food and service
Cafe Flora is ideally situated in a pateo, in the beautiful Worth street, in Palm Beach. The service is efficient but cold, inpersonal. We had Linguine al Vongole, which was good but not excellent, and Fish and Chips. The chips were delicious and crispy, but the fish, halibut, was greasy and oily. Close to the end of our meal, we were offered Coffee or tea, followed by the presentation of the bill, while we were still finishing our wine, no dessert was proposed. During lunch several ladies were going from table to table promoting dresses, handbags and other luxury items, which was a bit annoying.
Palm Beach perfection! The ambiance could not be more
Palm Beach perfection! The ambiance could not be more beautiful, the service was impeccable and the food was out of this world! The brick chicken was incredible!!!! My favorite meal in Palm Beach!!
had such a wonderful time.
Persy could not have been more welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the linguine and the profiteroles. Couldnt recommend this place more!
Stunning garden setting in a courtyard on Worth Ave.
We dine here a few times a season, typically on a weekend night when other restaurants are packed, Although would not consider this a "destination" restaurant, it's pretty good, Steaks are excellent. Pasta dishes are solid, especially the zucchini pasta (called Lovey's Special). Servers seem poorly trained resulting in inconsistent service. Martinis are small so plan on ordering two.
Cafe Via Flora (Palm Beach)
Limited options and uninspired flavors. Service was not great. Overall, I cannot recommend Cafe Via Flora for a satisfying dining experience on Palm Beach.

Hi, myself and some friends recently dined at Cafe Flora in Palm Beach. We were looking forward to a great last dinner in PB, but we were unfortunately met with the opposite. The dinner service started off pretty typical, our waiter greeted us and came back to take our food and drink orders. As we were waiting for our food, I quickly realized we may not be as valued as other guests that our server Valentina was also tending to. Our server had repeatedly gone to her other tables multiple times without ever checking on us. Moving on, our food comes out and we begin to eat. We have been eating for a long while now and still our server has failed to check on us even though I have watched her check multiple times on other tables. Other staff come to take our food away as we are essentially done with our dining experience. The manager comes to chat as I am assuming he can see we are visibly upset and bothered. I explained my concerns and he nicely apologized and offered us complimentary dessert. Following my conversation with the manager, our server, Valentina, has still failed to converse with us in any way except passing out our dessert plates. We are quite literally continuing to be ignored by our server! We have our dessert and finally receive the check from our server which would be the second verbal interaction we had with her. I'm writing this review out of concern and disappointment. As someone who has worked in the service industry myself, I was appalled to say the least. A representative, such as a server is a reflection of the entire establishment. Please take into consideration how you treat each and EVERY customer. I can only hope Valentina will do better in the future.

As a frequent traveler due to the demands of my profession, I often find myself journeying across South America, Europe, and within my home country. While locating a restaurant is a relatively straightforward task, discovering an exceptional one proves to be a challenge. Recently, I encountered Cafe Flora in West Palm Beach. Given my status as a Floridian residing in close proximity, I opted to visit this establishment for a Valentine's Day dining experience. I secured an 18:45 reservation, albeit with the unexpected requirement to prepay for the booking online, totaling an exact sum of $317.50 at the insistence of my wife. This amount covered a three-course meal, excluding cocktails, spirits, or wine, and notably encompassed a mandatory 20% gratuity. Upon our arrival, we were captivated by the remarkable ambiance of the outdoor seating area, evoking a distinctly European atmosphere. Regrettably, the culinary offerings did not measure up to the setting. In comparison to the service and cuisine provided by Chops, Kalutz, Okeechobee Steakhouse, and Aglio Italian Restaurant, Cafe Flora fell short in terms of quality. I strongly advise against investing time and money in this exorbitantly priced establishment. I sampled the lamb, which left me with a lukewarm impression, while my wife opted for the chicken. For appetizers, I selected the spicy tuna, and she chose a type of salad. As for dessert, we both indulged in an Italian doughnut, the name of which escapes me. In hindsight, I estimate that our meal should have amounted to approximately $200, exclusive of gratuity. Regrettably, we overpaid for an experience that ultimately delivered only mediocre service and cuisine, lacking the anticipated "wow" factor. It appears that the requirement to prepay for reservations may have been implemented to ensure guest attendance. However, I have resolved never to repeat this experience, and I would have adjusted the tip to 10% to reflect the level of service received. Furthermore, it is worth noting that the items listed on the online menu at the time of our reservation were not available at the restaurant. It appeared that certain menu items had been omitted. Specifically, I had intended to order the 10-ounce filet, which, to my disappointment, was not an option according to the server. When I pointed out that it was listed on the online menu, he simply apologized. Additionally, the key lime pie, which had been advertised on the online Valentine's Day menu, was also absent upon our arrival. In light of these discrepancies, it seems that my initial expectations were not met. As the saying goes, "fool me once, shame on you." FYI parking is a mess including valet (we did valet and waited 35 minutes before our car was brought to us) find parking and walk it.
Beautiful Location !
Top Location- a beautiful yard with plants ! Excellent service - friendly, humorous, charming. Very good food - especially the crab cocktail.

The garden atmosphere here is lovely and the food is quite good. I am giving 3 stars for service. Our waitress did not check on us and we had to ask for things 3x before we got them. Manager was trying to be polite, but you could tell the hot-headed italian in him wanted to explode as we finished up while the restaurant was trying to close.

We like the food and ambiance, however the owners are very rude! Had a reservation for a Saturday evening only to be told a few days before the reservation we are canceling due to a private party that they committed to last minute. No concern from the owner, which means they don't honor your reservations. First time with this type of obnoxious and uncaring attitude from a restaurant owner. Definitely not the experience we were going for.
Think twice before coming here.

Not acceptable!
Ate here this evening for the second time with friends. However, we won’t be returning. Had 6:00 pm reservations and were seated promptly, from this point on, thanks to Max our waiter, it was a race to the finish. Everything was rushed, from cocktails to appetizers to dinner. Food was mediocre at best, we’ve had better food at local happy hours. Given the location of this restaurant “Worth Ave in Palm Beach, and the pricey menu, we expected the food and ambiance to be first rate. IT WAS NOT, I would not recommend Cafe Flora. There are plenty other dining establishments in trendy Palm Beach to choose from.
Charming venue with great food and excellent service.
Francesco was a consummate professional assisting our party. We look forward to returning for more wonderful dining experiences.
Excellent food.
The lobster bisque was amazing and one of the best I've ever had. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. The service was wonderful and our food came quickly. The location of the restaurant can't be beat. 10/10 experience all around!

First they put bread on the table but no small plates to put the bread in. We ordered the pasta a la vongole and it was not authentic, it was watery and the pasta was cut in small stubs. the bolognese pasta was ok. the chairs were very uncomfortable, they need to add cushions to the bare chairs. For desert the Tiramisu was horrible, what were they thinking? I would not recommend this place to anyone. The plate of pasta definitely wasn't worth over $30.00
Nice, pleasant location and good service, food below average
We met friends there for Sunday lunch and being September in Palm Beach is still quite warm, and the music was a bit loud outside, so we sat in the small dining room and it was perfect, quiet, intimate and very pleasant, although the patio area is very pleasant as well (away from the speakers, of course). The service was prompt and courteous, not intrusive at all but checked with us regularly to make sure everything was OK or if we needed anything. The negatives are: 1) the food is mediocre, my salad was somewhat wilted, and the shrimp small and over cooked, the hamburger was too greasy, and the fish and chips was peculiar, as if the fish had been grilled after frying (?) and it wasn't very good. 2) the restaurant shares the restrooms with the other business in the courtyard so to use them you must go to the end of the patio with a code they will provide, which is not big deal, but the restrooms are not very nice. This is not the restaurant's fault, however they should make sure that these are updated and properly maintained as their customers will be using them.
