HARD PASS ON THIS TOURIST TRAP
All you do is wait. and wait. The place is like going into a cave. I felt I had to get a shower afterwards. The cliff diving is moderately interesting but the food is AWFUL! The roads trying to get into the shopping center where restaurant is located is a niughtmare and it's in a seedy part of town.

If you know and love the South Park episode, Casa Bonita is a MUST. Even if you don't ,the kitsch appeal alone is worth the visit, with all manner of exotic entertainment in one building, including cliff divers, mariachi singers, puppet shows, magicians and more. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is good. Don't come expecting the best Meixican food you ever had, but the free chips and salsa are excellent, and the sopaipillas are unlimited, so even though you are getting charged $40 total, the entire visit lasts well upwards of 2 1/2 hours once you take into account the entertainment, which makes it significantly better value than a Rox game! :?)

Not a good experience. No problem getting there and parking. Had to wait a few minutes for our scheduled reservation time. It was dark inside. Hard to follow our host who was trying to explain the events. He took us through what seemed like a maize to a small table up high. We couldn't see any of the events, but could hear that things were going on. It was so dark we couldn't see the menu. Not a bad thing as it turns out because there wasn't much on it. We opted for the chicken enchiladas which weren't horrible, but not worth $40 a pop. We also ordered some queso. Not sure why they call it queso. It was lumpy and bland and tasted like it was some flour concoction. Hey, the pop was OK. After our meal we wandered around for a bit looking for some of the things they mentioned were there. It was so crowded we gave up and left. We won't be back and won't recommend this to anyone. While I'm sure the new owners don't care about reviews like this one, they should really make this a pleasant experience for all. I felt like I was in some kind of get'm in and push'm out factory. Not the experience I was expecting.
What an experience
Way more than just a dinner experience. We were here for 5 hours having a blast the entire time. Man-bear-pig was friendly and thankfully wearing underwear , the underpants gnomes didn't get them yet. My son was challenged by Blackbart 2 times and beat him both times pong/ skee ball. The food was delivered so fast the server had just left the table and bam the food was there. Plan to be there for a while if you want to explore it all. We had a great time it was well worth the trip from Orlando!!
Great memories old and new!
I don't get the negative reviews. This is a place for kids, a place to have fun and now so many things are better! We went to Casa Bonita for a birthday dinner, to reminisce and to create new memories with my grandkids. The food was great; the service was good; the atmosphere was just as fun as it was in the past and now there is live music. My husband laughed like a little kid at Black Bart's cave and the snake pit. If you do not enjoy a little happy chaos, hearing kids laugh, or being entertained in a little bit of a corny way - don't go. We of course will be back!
Just like it used to be.
We went with our daughter who is 39 now but we used to go when she was a young child. Food was good except if you have an allergy like mine to onions and peppers. Ended up with a salad with a little cheese, radishes and a couple cut up chicken tender pieces. I thought it would at least have some avocado. When I commented on how I paid for mostly lettuce they brought me 2 kids hamburger sliders which I thought was nice of them. The outside with the Fountain and pink tower is the same as we remember as well as inside with the divers, puppet show, balloon man, treasure chests and Black Bart's cave. My daughter has memories of the gorilla coming to otr table which it did this time but mask has changed. We spent 2.5 hours wandering around and going to the shows. They also have a neat museum with the history of the place and "artifacts". Can't wait to come back with our grandson.

Pretty but very pricey ..be prepared for sticker shock
I waited from the time this restaurant reopened until yesterday to get a seat at this place. We were met by heavy security then escorted far away from everything into a place called the mine. Our server was friendly, the ambiance is beyond beautiful. Our food came quickly, but had so much cumin in it that it overpowered the flavors This isn't a Mexican spice and should be used very sparingly. We were told we had 1 hour to leave the table. Don't be fooled by the $39.99 advertised price. We ended up paying over $137 for our two meals with 1 alcoholic beverage each. We were then charged a $15.35 service charge for the ability to be in this place. Even after walking around for an hour, we never saw the diving show. This place caters to families with children which is a great place for them.
Woah Awesome
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Felt like we were in the South Park episode, it was an absolute blast! The divers were incredible, Jail José was awesome, Black Bart’s Cave was way cooler than expected, and we even saw ManBearPig lurking around. Total chaos in the best way. 10/10 experience!
Terrible experience
The atmosphere was dingy and dirty, staff was unpleasant except for the lady who was making balloon art. Food was awful. I didn't appreciate all of us having to have our purses searched, taking things out of our pockets, and then going through metal detectors before getting to the front door of the restaurant. No natural lighting anywhere, and it was dark inside. Entertainment consisted of two guys doing two dives every 20 minutes. Place was expensive. The sorcerer's magic show was creepy. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go waste their time or money there.

* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $5.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FulfilledThread16, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FulfilledThread16 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FulfilledThread16 for any questions Peter may have as FulfilledThread16 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FulfilledThread16 now uses their connections at Casa Bonita Denver to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FulfilledThread16 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FulfilledThread16 receives the $5 reward which is credited to FulfilledThread16's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Casa Bonita Denver!
