Came here for a tasting and I was a bit underwhelmed.
The grounds were gorgeous but because it was so hot out they moved the tasting indoors. Not an issue but I will say indoor, while beautiful, felt very stiff and cold. I don't remember our guides name but she was very informative, to a point that it felt like she was kind of just reading off of a script. While it was more of a private tasting, our guide was bouncing around a couple of different reservations. Completely understand why this is done, but we had a lot less time to ask any questions, as she just poured the wine, told us the script about it, and then moved on to the next party. Overall, it was a pleasant tasting but I was underwhelmed. Good value, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
Not the best experience.
Our host (Cheryl?) had 3 tables so there was no personal connection. In between pours she was off to someone else. She was also sort of condescending. This was the only place we visited where no one in our group joined the club. We enjoyed the wine and hearing the history, and made purchases. The grounds were beautiful. I would find out if there are elevated experiences with a dedicated host.
The most horrible service, never bring kids here .
If I could id put 0 stars. This place is awful. The people who go here move legit food and full wine glasses to take your seat. The staff mansplain parenting to us. If you don't want money from families, ban them, don't invite us in just to mistreat us. I've been to 100s of wineries and paying premium for Napa is the way to go. This place is awful.
Excellent and a must visit
Had an awesome tasting here with Donna in the garden area. Really love their wine and the property was beautiful. Very nice if you buy wine they waive the tasting fee. Probably my favorite winery visit this trip!!

We went to six wineries, and this was the best Winery my eight friends and I we are agree on that. They welcome you in the friendliest way. Luis was the one who introduced us to the different wines and the history of this beautiful place next time I recommend asking for Luis. At the end of the tasting they give you a free glass!

The property is gorgeous and so well taken care of.
The outdoor tasting area is super peaceful and a great place to just relax and enjoy the view. Elizabeth gave us an amazing wine tasting experience. She really knows her stuff and was so fun to talk to - friendly, down-to-earth, and full of great info about the wines. It felt like we were just hanging out with a friend who happens to be a wine expert. The Emmolo Sauvignon Blanc was definitely my favorite. It is crisp, refreshing, and so easy to drink. Highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for great wine in a beautiful setting with awesome people
Caymus Winery really offers a beautiful, quintessential yet
Caymus Winery really offers a beautiful, quintessential yet modern atmosphere with top tier elegance. They have great seating options both indoor and outdoor. From what I saw, the outdoor seating is especially spacious, and designed in a layout which allows for a perfect, more private, relaxed tasting experience (there is also the option to purchase wine by the glass).

Exceptional experience! Highly recommend anyone that likes good wine and great service! Bill was our wine connoisseur guide and was amazing ! He loves his job and made our tour exceptional celebrating our older daughter turning 21 years old! Caymus was our #1 wine !!

This is the third time coming to Caymus, I think I love it
This is the third time coming to Caymus, I think I love it more every time I come here. They have beautiful grounds, and a beautiful tasting room. But the people there are amazing! They not only do they know their wine knowledge, they take their time with you and aren't pushy. Steven is just amazing, he treats you like family. But their wines are simply amazing and they have a vast selection of wines. If in the Rutherford area i recommend this winery.
Our Caymus tasting was the best ever wine tasting experience for us.
My wife and I celebrated our 38 th anniversary at Caymus today. Our experience exceeded our expectations primarily due to our interactions with our server Dillion (Dylan) ? Spelling. He was sensational in his explanations about the wines, history and people responsible for the wonderful wines and beautiful facilities and grounds. Thank you Dillion.

We were at Caymus vineyards recently (May) for a scheduled wine tasting. The experience was simply excellent. We had our tasting experience with Esquisio who was beyond incredible. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable on all sorts of wines but he made our experience a real enjoyable learning experience. I have been to several tastings in different wineyeards over the years, but Caymus has been by far the best.
Definitely a must!!
Our hostess Whitney was extremely informative and friendly. We enjoyed our visit to the beautiful property and definitely recommend putting this on your itinerary when in Sonoma/Napa.
Uninspired
We love Caymus wine and just came from a wine pairing @ Charthouse in Genesee, CO. Although we all were uninspired by visiting the vineyard. We would have bought cases but weren't inspired. Bummer drag of an experience for our favorite wine
Picture perfect venue!
During my visit, I had the pleasure of enjoying a glass of Caymus at the elegant Winehouse, where Jeremy was bartending. Jeremy’s expertise and friendly demeanor made the experience even more memorable. His knowledge of the wines and engaging conversation added a personal touch that truly showcased the warmth and hospitality Caymus is known for. Recently, Caymus underwent a stunning renovation that has elevated the visitor experience to new heights. The updated facilities feature a modern, welcoming design that blends seamlessly with the historic charm of the estate. Outside seated is amazing gives you lots of privacy while enjoying the tasting experience with friends.

We had a wonderful time visiting Caymus. Whitney was absolutely fantastic!! She is so knowledgeable about the history of the company, the Wagner Family, the Napa Valley in general, and of course the wines. She really went above and beyond to ensure that our first trip to Napa was unforgettable. Many thanks!!!
Wine tasting at Caymus
We did a wine tasting on five different Caymus wines. The tasting and setting were great a Ezequiel did a great job as the sommelier. After the tasting sat at the bar where David took great care of us.

Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at Caymus Vineyards Rutherford to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Caymus Vineyards Rutherford!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
