Dine like a king
It was everything I expected and more. Food, wine, champagne all top notch in a great setting with attentive staff. We both chose the prawns for starters on a butter bean mash followed by slow braised pork with breaded rib. At the interval I had blackcurrant cheesecake with coffee and a tequila shot (shared with new friends we made).

We had a 3 course lunch at Corda after a show and I really enjoyed the food. We didn’t have a table booked but the waitress was kind to accommodate us. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The service was quick. Starter was excellent, I wasn’t too keen on the salted bits in my main but the fish was well cooked. Dessert was good also. I Would go back anytime. Starter: wrapped prawns Main: Pan fried cod with rosti Dessert: chocolate mousse

A fantastic restaurant - we had a wonderful meal before the show, definitely recommend. Food was delicious and the service was excellent (special mention to Bruna)
Be the first to ReplyExcellent all round.
Wonderful meal! We had a delicious 3 course meal (the fish was excellent) - beautifully presented and top notch service (special thank you to Bruna). We will definitely return (apparently you can have afternoon tea here without having to have a ticket for a performance)

The afternoon tea at the Royal Albert Hall was amazing, the staff were all friendly espically Bruna who was our server. She explained about the process of the afternoon tea and gave us some recommendations of tea flavours. When we mentioned that two of our party were Vegetarian including myself they catered to us straight away with suitable options (the roasted vegetable sandwich was my favourite) I would 100% go back anf recommend to anyone, it make my mums birthday treat so special.

Specious restaurant, our waitress was initially charming, but after we ordered the main course, the situation went downhill. No quality check until the manager came Jean-Pierre. He was charming and very professional. He truly saved the day. We ordered: Barolo 78.00 Veal Sweetbread Kataifi Wrapped Prawns Pan roasted cod with rosti Roasted rack of pork

We ate here last night as part of our Cirque Du Soliel package and unfortunately found the whole experience quite disappointing. I found some of the wait staff weren’t of the standard you would expect of a fine dining restaurant. Both our starters were not great, my wife had a cheese and beetroot dish which was very average and I had the prawns which were overcooked. For mains my wife had duck which she enjoyed and I have the beef filet which unfortunately came out blue rather than mid rare.. The sticky toffee pudding was very good. The staff need a lot of training on time management when serving as part of a show evening. Doubt I would ever return.
Be the first to ReplyLovely Afternoon Tea
Coda's afternoon tea is a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. The savory sandwiches were tasty and the warm scones were to-die-for. All of the pastry were sublime. Gianpier provided excellent service.

Be the first to ReplyDisappointing!
Not fine dining service! We arrived on time and ordered some aperitifs to drink whilst deciding what we wanted to eat. The staff kept coming back to take our orders but still no drinks. The drinks eventually arrived seconds before the food. We were not offered bread until we finished the starters. We then had to chase our wine which arrived minutes before the main course. Thought the food was ok, not sure I would recommend it or come again as was pretty pricey.

Although new he was professional in presentation and service with pleasant smile ( not always given by waiters) and amusing. It created a Happy atmosphere before seeing the Cirque Soleil. We dined at Coda before seeing Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons on 2nd July. First time at RAH and Coda and both were excellent. The food and service was fantastic and it was great being able to return to our table for dessert during the interval. Would definitely dine again if we go to another show. Thanks to Margo who looked after us and brought our drinks down to our seats. Great service.

Visited with friends for birthday celebration. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and a great view of the Albert Memorial from our table. A delicious afternoon tea with plenty of finger sandwiches, scones, cakes and a slice of cake from the trolley. We were very well looked after by Margo and Daniel. A wonderful experience would definitely recommend!

We visited for early dinner before the evening Promenade concert. The Coda restaurant was a good choice, being on site so no rush to leave. In fact we could have returned for coffee and dessert during the interval. Excellent food and presentation with attentive and friendly service
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Afternoon Tea at Royal Albert Hall
What fantastic experience my mom, her boyfriend, and I had recently at Coda while visiting London. My mom and her boyfriend had wanted to catch a performance at Royal Albert Hall while in town, but nothing was scheduled. My mom opted to reserve us afternoon tea instead, and it blew us all away, including my mom's boyfriend, who is British. The coordination for the tea was meticulous--the restaurant is tucked away inside the building and we were escorted by staff when we arrived, which was very nice as it would be hard to find on direction alone. Also made the experience feel very special! The restaurant space is gorgeous: intimate but well-spaced tables, sunny with views of the Albert Memorial outside in Kensington Gardens, beautiful table settings and linens. The food was exquisite--good quality, very well prepared, and the tea service was quite generous--we couldn't finish everything! Tea selection was wonderful. They also have vegan sandwich options, which I thought was very nice. The manager was an extremely gracious gentleman who made sure our experience was above and beyond. He gave us an education on the building, famous guests, and more. We are so very grateful for what a surprise delight the tea ended up being!
