Coors Brewery Tour Golden Reviews
Fun stop, worth the visit
First stop on our Colorado roadtrip and a great one! Tour included 3 full pours and lots of great information. Enjoyed our tour guide!
This place is pretty cool.
We were too late to book a tour so we booked the sampling activity. The bartenders were very friendly not at all stingy. We got three big ol samples of our choice and they were all refreshing. The gift shop has a lot of cute merch!
You Wanna Get More Knowledge of Coors... Take the Great Brewery Tour
I've done the Coors Brewery Tour 3 times before and it's still a great tour. I've been on many tours of other breweries and this one is right at the top. The tour guide we had (can't remember his name) was VERY knowledgeable and gave us a ton of information on the brewing process, as well as the history of the brewery. I also found a new liking to Coors Banquet. The tour DOES book a few days/weeks out - but well worth it!
Make sure that you have reservations and an assigned time
Make sure that you have reservations and an assigned time before going. They have an easy check-in process at the free parking lot. The bus will take you to and from the tour. The tour staff are friendly, helpful, and informative. They will be happy to answer questions and you will get to try three different beers. They have a great merchandise gift shop too.
Great fun and informative, but FYI lots of walking and stairs.

The tour for this place sells out super fast so I recommend
The tour for this place sells out super fast so I recommend booking and checking for spots much time in advance. It was too late for me to purchase tour tickets so we opted for the sample only tickets which were priced at about $10 each. On the day of, we rented a locker and left our bags there as they are not allowed into the facility. The check in employees were friendly and we were then put onto a shuttle within a few minutes after checking in. Once at the facility, we checked in again and we were then showed where to go for our samples. We made it to the bar area and the bartenders were super friendly. We each were allowed three samples each. I went with a Blue Moon, Coors Banquet, and a cold Coors Light. All three of the samples I picked were yummy and they were not stingy on their pours. We drank and mingled for about an hour and we stopped by the gift shop. The gift shop had a lot of unique shirts and souvenirs for reasonable prices. The cashiers were friendly. Overall we had a great time and it was such a cool experience! So worth it!
Well organized!
So glad we booked this tour. Welcomed at the gate by friendly keeper.. Check in super easy, bus driver very nice despite the hot day and broken AC. Konrad was knowledgeable and approachable and accommodating. Iโd done this tour in college 40 years ago and my how times have changed at Coors;-) Tasting room was filled and service was fast. We opted for 1/2 beers and a glass of Lemonade to make ours Shandys on this hot day in June. I even some cute merch in the shop. Donโt miss this โColoradoโ experience..
Great brewery tour and guide!
The Coors Brewery Tour was a lot of fun! Very informational and cool to learn all about brewing! The taste-testing was great! Our tour guide, Matt, was very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged. He seemed to really enjoy what he does! He was able to answer every question that came up. The gift shop had a wide variety of purchases. Everyone there was very kind. We were inside the whole time other than waiting for our little bus from the parking lot to the brewery. It was about 1.5 hours for the tour, and then as long as you want in the last drinking spot and gift shop. Each tour seemed to have about 12 people, which was very manageable. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
The second best brewery in Golden, CO
So, if youโre like us and coming from out of town, my main recommendation is that you do not want to bank on Uber/Lyft getting you out here in time to make the VERY STRICT tour times. My expected ETA to get out here when I first started trying to book a car was 15 mins earlier than our reserved tour time. Drivers then refused to take our trip for 20 minutes, I assume because they didnโt want to drive out of town. So, long story short, we arrived at 4:02 for our 4 pm tour time, and saw the last bus of the day pulling out of the lot right as we arrived. We talked to multiple employees in the parking lot, explaining that we would take just getting a trip to the tasting room and gift shop, and getting told that the only way to do this was to have made it in time for our tour bus. Interesting thing here is that everyone we talked to seemed to want to help, but also seemed terrified of their higher ups finding out that they helped people catch up to the tour if they didnโt arrive on time โ and it sounds like our situation is a common one. So, if youโre the next person who gets screwed over by the Coors brewery on this tour, hereโs my advice โ go drown your sorrows at Golden City Brewery just down the road. The beer is way better, anyways.
We spotted this brewery when in the golden Colorado area.
This beer is made in this area and of course we wanted to give them a try. The service here is spectacular. They also give beer tours which we did not do. We came later in the afternoon and only had time for the tasting room and the gift shop. We were happy to have had this experience. If you're looking for an original brewery in the area, give this place a try. The history of course is interesting and fun to learn about. Give them a try for yourself.

The tour exceeded my expectations! Some of the reviews I saw said that the sign in and transfer process was disorganized, but they must have saw that and fixed it because it was a perfectly well oiled machine. They have tours going every 10 minutes. You meet in the parking lot next to the factory, check in and then they have you stand in certain colored rectangles depending on your tour time. They do not allow bags, but they have lockers right there for $3 a piece (cc only). They then take you on a bus to the factory (only a couple minute ride). The information learned on the factory was really cool. Our tour guide Diane was super energetic and fun and full of knowledge. They do give you 3 full cups of beer throughout the tour. You can then hang out and shop or take the bus back when you want. Would recommend!

$20 for an hour long tour of the largest brewery in the world and three free beers! Great value for what's offered and you learn a bunch about Coors and how it was made. Very cool experience! Our tour guide was great and very friendly. He used to work at the brewery before becoming a tour guide and was very knowledgeable during the tour. Also a sweet cherry on top was all the cool merch they have in the gift shop. They really have something for everyone. I would come back here and do the tasting experience with a taster. If you're a beer drinker I think you'd enjoy this !

Incredibly lucky, a couple cancelled the day of and my girlfriend and I were able to get tour tickets! Loved the tour! I read reviews complaining about not seeing everything...it's the world's largest brewery sitting on 1,000 acres...no way to see everything! Our tour guide Heinz was a worker at the brewery for 25 years and was very knowledgeable, funny, and light hearted. I enjoyed the science behind everything and learning the history of such an iconic brand, so this tour covered all the stops for me. Had a Coors Light, Coors Banquet, and a Molson as part of the tour. Significantly better than store bought as it's fresh off draught. Make the trip!

How fun was this! We traveled to Golden, CO in our RV and I'm so glad we did. We booked a tour prior to our arrival and we were able to park in the free parking area on 10th Street with our RV. It was a safe space for it and we had no issues with parking. Danielle was our tour guide and she was marvelous! She spoke slow, loud, and was clear on her speech without the umms, or nerves which I appreciate, because it is hard to follow with the distractions. The Coors brewery is a working, function brewery so it was cool to see how they do everything. My kids even enjoyed it and of course my husband had a blast. Highly recommend!
We did the Coors tour and it was fun and informative.
Everyone was really nice and the best part you get 3 beers. Really cool area and come cool spots to check out in the neighboring areas.
Nice Tour for Beer Fans
This was a very informative and interesting tour. It is a bit of a hassle to ride a shuttle to get to the tour and the check in process is a little clunky, but overall it was a pretty good experience. The testing room at the end has much more variety than other tours I have taken.
Could have been sooooo much better
This is the most dysfunctional process. Full disclosure, we did not have a reservation. Just to visit the gift shop and spend some money, you had to wait in a line and be bussed to the gift store/tasting room. When you arrive at the facility, you have to wait to be checked inโฆ. And if they dump a tour off while you are waiting to go to the gift shop, they will go ahead of you. Chic Fil A could teach them a thing about making money and efficiency. Itโs their pleasure.
Cool Tour
I've done brewery tours before, and this one is impressive in terms of scale! It's also nice that you get a few 12-ounce beer "samples" on the way! The guides are knowledgeable. The gift shop is also worth a stop if you're a Coors fan!
