This is an excellent restaurant. Asian fusion. It only has a tasting menu and we chose the wine pairing ($180 for 2). This pushes the meal over $400. The staff was excellent offering a complete explanation of each course and wine/sake. If I have any complaint it would be that there are perhaps too many courses. At times it overwhelms your palette.

We had a lovely experience watching the efficiently working team creating the clever dishes to us. Most of the food was superb, I especially enjoyed the smoked tuna sashimi. The squid with ink and liver was a bit odd together with the cold chicken soup. Only minus point was that when we took the recommended wine package, we liked only half of the wines and the pairing wasn't a success, sometimes it even tasted worst in your mouth together with the food. I would visit the place again, but would skip the wine package. I loved that even that you sat on a bar, you didn't have to sit on a bar stool but the floor was elevated and you sat on a regular chair. The service was pleasant and relaxed and we felt very at ease.

My wife and I ate there - she is a sushi fan; me not so much. The only choice was a set menu - several of the dishes were extremely fishy and were difficult for me AND my wife to eat; (I am not into eating fish sperm) a few of the selections are delicious but of the 13 that we ate, we enjoyed less than half of them. And the price? Out of whack - my third Michelin restaurant and I have paid more elsewhere - the price here is difficult to justify - and yes, the staff are somewhat aloof - I would not recommend

We went to the restaurant in July 2022. We were a family of 4 and they recommended us to take the tasting menu. They don't mention that the price of the Tasting menu is 110 Euros per person on the Website and when we made our reservation. We thought that one menu at 110 Euros would be enough for four. It cost us 450 Euros for our diner. If you go there and choose the menu a la carte, price and food is ok. But, the tasting menu is not good. It's too expansive, unclear if it's a price per person or not and the food is too strange and special. There is 12 tapas in the menu and we stopped after 7 before we got sick. Imagine, 450 Euros for one dinner, you can easily have 3 or 4 great dinners with your family in Barcelona for that price. They are unfriendly, they don't care about complaints and clients. Don't go there.

Mind blowing experience! Upon reservation, make sure to take the chefs table, you’ll get to be entertained with your eyes, nose, skin, tongue, basically all of your senses! Food is out of this world! Drinks are paired perfectly and isn’t something standard. We’re talking about a sensory experience and discovery that will have you entertained for the rest of the day! 💫🙌⭐️

Exceptional, world-class Asian-Spanish tapas in a fun and funky setting. A tour de force of flavors in the generous 13-15 course prix fixe, with co-owner Tamaya explaining the vision and provenance of every bite. Deserves a second Michelin star — our favorite meal in Barcelona.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible experience, their terrace is an a dirty alley and being arrogant is their standard
This is probably the most unfriendly experience we have ever had in a restaurant. We arrived and in the doorway we were asked to take a seat on the terrace. However, it is not a terrace but a more spacious part of an alley, where there are empty plastic bottles on te ground, dogs pee and many tourists walk by and shout. We indicated that this is not our standard of a gastronomical evening, for a set menu (110.- pp ex drinks) we expect an experience befitting a starred restaurant. No conversation was possible, inside everything was full and if we didn't sit on the terrace, 50,- pp would be taken from our credit card because we had cancelled the reservation ourselves. I could not believe my ears ... the arrogance, I have never experienced this anywhere in the world. In the evening we received an automatic mail that read in Spanish: hello,we want to inform you that your reservation guarantee has been charged. The details are below, if you find an error, please contact us. I have tried several times to contact them, but I get no response, either via email or app. Mind blowing for a restaurant like this, or any restaurant... they just stole 100,- from my account and don't even bother. Luckily their are many other great restaurants in the city.

Terrace setting and service was excellent. Food on other hand was terrible. While I understand that not everyone likes everything we had the 11 course taster menu and found most of the appetizer and main dish items bordering on inedible. Seafood quality was second rate certainly not fresh. Very disappointed.

Horrible experince. Only raw fish and unseasoned food. This restaurant is a disgrace to the Michelin chain. The food is terible, uncooked and tasteless

Our flight to Barcelona was delayed so we arrived 45 minutes late to the restaurant and our table had therefore been cancelled but when we explained what had happened they gave us their chambre separé and made us feel special. Great meet and greet! You can choose between the small, 13 dishes, or the large menu which was 15 dishes. We went for the small menu and enjoyed a constant flow of exquisite tastes. They were served by different waiters and chefs which was a bit of fun, one by the famous chef himself who offered us a trial of a new invention - an oyster chip. Out of the 13, well actually 14, there was only 1 I wasn’t mad about as I’m a bit picky and that was the pig ears, the taste was good but just knowing what I was eating. The wine they suggested, a white Rioja, was a great choice. It was an all together superb experience!

So Disappointed, before booking this restaurant really understand And know the food they have, as for me and my girlfriend we was only offered the 9 dish tasting menu, 100€ per person, we got 5 dishes in and had to walk away. You need such a required taste to enjoy this food, and I’m sure some people will, I explained to the waiter very sorry but this is not for us as it was our anniversary I wanted to go some where else to eat as it was getting late now ask for the bill, said I will pay it’s not he’s problem expecting at least as we still have 8 dish not served should really only charge the 50€ wine and one 100€ menu, but unfortunately they didn’t they charged the full 250€ bill, I feel this was a little bad hence why now having to wiring this review. We paid the amount didn’t complain left a big tip and now have the funniest memory of our most expensive 5 bites of bad food ever on our 3 year anniversary
