Eddie V's Prime Seafood Fort Lauderdale Reviews from The Last Year
Me and My Husband was at Ev's this Sunday for Father's Day
Me and My Husband was at Ev's this Sunday for Father's Day and he ordered their delicious lamb and he was all surprised that the meat was very good. I had an 18 ounce New York strip Steak and was very good . The drinks were great, side dishes as well, we love Eddie V's
Always a great meal, never dissapointed.
The ambiance is great and there is always live music. The service is top notch, they address you by name. Being within walking distance my husband and i frequent this location often. There is nothing bad on the menu. Our top picks are the crab cake, which may be the best i have ever had, the steak tartar, filet, and stuffed shrimp.
Very nice place to go for a romantic dinner.
Beautiful dining room. Lovely inside and outside bar. Highly recommend . EddieVs for a romantic night or happy hour!!
Excellent service from host stand to bar to wait staff
Excellent service from host stand to bar to wait staff Restaurant was busy but everything came quickly. Food was delicious.
Visited this very nice restaurant for a birthday.
ambiance was very nice. Staff gave exemplary service especially Julian who had our table decorated prior to our seating. He knew his job well and was right on with every move we made. I will ask for him again. He made it extra extra special and we went away very happy.
Stopped in on Mother's Day, for a Mother's Day brunch.
I received great service. My mom loved her time out with me. We were sat next to this door that lead to the patio that was very distracting though. Mainly because they had to come in and out of it and it would slam. But also because we chose to sit inside and some waiters would just leave the door completely open. I ordered a lobster quiche Florentine, that came with the smallest portion or a side salad I've ever seen. Which was pretty good, and the Florentine was delicious as well with nice chunks of lobster claw. The meal came with an appetizer which I chose the lobster bisque. It didn't have much flavor but I did like the piece of lobster it came with. They swerved these warm apple cinnamon scones which were good but you need one because they were sweet.
Our first experience with Eddie V's was excellent.
The atmosphere was lively, but not overly loud, allowing for conversation. Our server, Alex, was perfect. She was prompt and detail oriented. We had Chilean Seabass and Parmesan Crusted Sole. Both were superb. We will definitely return to sample other dishes.
We had a fantastic experience with Alexandra to celebrate
We had a fantastic experience with Alexandra to celebrate our engagement! The food was fresh and delicious, service was ideal, quick, and efficient and the semi private dining had a great ambience and vibe overall. We are so impressed! Thank you for a fitting celebration.
Delicious food and great service.
The Manager and Staff really know how to make the dining experience special!
Eddie V's really takes care to assure diners are happy.
The food is amazing but the service is just as good. Executive chef Alexis Morgan and his team really are immaculate with the care they provide, the quality of their food, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. We were served by Adam who was knowledgeable about the menu and provided options based on our preferences. Every fish we tried was well prepared and you can tell it was prepared with passion. The Chilean sea bass melted in my mouth and came in a beautiful soy and ginger broth. It was definitely my favorite dish on the menu. If you love fish both the tuna tartare and yellowtail sashimi were to die for. Really fresh fish with citrus paired very well together. Overall a lovely dinner at a great establishment. Worth visiting for any occasion.
Excellent atmosphere and food + the perfect server = A Magical Evening!
After a year working remotely on a difficult project, seven of us gathered in Ft. Lauderdale to celebrate our success and to meet face-to-face for the first time. Eddie V's was the perfect venue, with special thanks to our server Darko for making our evening *spectacular.* Some used the efficient valet service for parking, while others used the convenient paid garage right across the street at 200 E. Las Olas. We booked our reservation for the quiet inner room for conversation, while others may prefer their inside dining with live music or al fresco tables outside. The atmosphere, décor, seating, tableware, linens, and stemware were immaculate, while the food and presentation were exceptional. Our dishes included Hong Kong Sea Bass, NY Strip, Filet Oscar, Ahi Tuna, goat cheese salad, crab fried rice, lobster mashed potatoes, mixed salads, and Darko's tableside preparation of steak tartare. There were no doggie bags. :-D We washed it down with Pellegrino, spicy Margaritas, and Faust Cabernet. Was it "expensive"? Perhaps. Was it worth every penny? Absolutely! Дарко, ти благодарам многу!
Came here for happy hour recently.
Very nice e steakhouse on Las Olas and a refreshing change from a lot of the mediocre spots in the area Great drinks, food and service. They have a very nice selection of wine and cocktails. Will definitely be back for dinner one night. The oysters are not to be missed
Bartenders are outstanding!!! Great live music.
Incredible food! Great happy hour Sunday through Thursday.
Amanda is an exceptional server.
We ordered crab cakes, shrimp, filet mignon and the food was amazing.
Is now our first stop
We didn't have reservation so decided on happy hour cocktails and appetizers. We got there when the doors opened and got great seats at the bar. Within less than 1/2 hour it was packed and lively. We enjoyed everything that we sampled from the Spicy Margareta's to their wine list. The tableside Steak Tartar was awesome as was their Lobster Bisque and Mini Filet Mignon Sandwiches. We had much more and everything was great. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The ladies room was very clean.
Amazing food, service, and ambiance.
Highly recommend. Great place for a birthday dinner. They make it very special for you, give you a bday card, throw confetti on the table, a complimentary champagne and desert. Top quality experience all around. Don't miss out on this place if you're ever in the area.
We celebrated our 2 year anniversary here and it didn't
We celebrated our 2 year anniversary here and it didn't disappoint. Jose was our server and he was absolutely outstanding--made great recommendations and was attentive but didn't hover. We ordered the Maine lobster tacos and Maine lobster bisque--they split the bisque for us and it was delicious and creamy. For dinner I had the ahi tuna and my boyfriend had the filet mignon medium rare enhanced with scallops, truly incredible. As sides, we got the scalloped potatoes (a gift from our server and the chef, thank you!), the broccolini, and the crab fried rice. Everything was so delicious and well-paced. While we've come here without and specific celebrations, we're extremely appreciative of Eddie V's for making this visit extra special.

Flawless experience.
Well beyond our expectations with a LOT of happy people. Great foods and quality selections.
I really wanted to like this place.
I brought my fiance here for his 32nd birthday. The service was good and the ambiance was 10/10. They decorated and left a card for him at the table which I thought was sweet. There was live music playing which was also an awesome touch. The server brought us bread and butter that had different seasonings on top, this was scrumptious. For cocktails, I ordered the Hope Diamond and he ordered the Golden Hour. I really enjoyed the hope diamond. His golden hour was more on the sour side to me but he enjoyed it. For food we ordered the Ceasar salad, filet medallions Oscar style, 22 oz ribeye, crab fried rice, and broccolini. The Ceasar salad was okay, I liked the olive tapenade but there was barely any there. The broccolini tasted bland but the almond gremolata was good. The crab fried rice was also on the bland side but had an overpowering umami taste. The filet medallions were tough, hard to cut through and the crab on top was lackluster. My fiance enjoyed his ribeye and said it was cooked well but needed a bit more flavor. They brought a dessert plate which had the bananas foster crumb cake with butter pecan ice cream and some cookies. That bananas foster cake was the best thing at the restaurant. I don't even like banana flavored things but this was EXCEPTIONAL. I don't think the food is worth the price which is why I'm giving it three stars. I really wanted to like this place so I can recommend it but it just doesn't meet the mark. We were told that this restaurant is know for it's meat and seafood but it didn't feel like it delivered on either of those.
By far my fav steak in Fort Lauderdale! Great happy hour
By far my fav steak in Fort Lauderdale! Great happy hour also. Awesome cocktails. Always on point. For dinner all the side dishes I've tried are delicious and of course the filet is my go to. Love the outdoor patio to enjoy the weather. All the staff is always friendly and attentive. David has been our favorite!

This place is a little upper scale, but it is on the las olas strip so it is as you would expect. The food is a delight and while it can be expensive, they have an expensive happy hour. The restaurant can really set the mood and is a great place to celebrate anything.

Sides, steak, lobster, sole, deserts...of the 14 dishes we tried, all were spectacular, except the Caesar salad Setting = 5 nice, luxurious feeling space We now get their high Yelp reviews...GREAT JOB!!
Best food in Fort Lauderdale
Best food ever in Fort Lauderdale you must go for dinner eat great food at eddie VS put it on your list to eat at. Sit at the bar look for John for the VIP service
Excellent
The 30 day wet aged ribeye was excellent! On first bite I thought ‘oh no, it’s salty’ but my brain was confused. How in the world can I taste salt without there being too much? I admit it was a first for me and pleasing! Fried rice with steak, why not? The crab fried rice was good and the calamari was very fine. Service was great and exactly what I expected.
Took my family here for an early dinner.
..our server was very accommodating considering we had two young children and was very attentive. Our food was great and service was excellent.
High Priced Mediocrity
My husband & I visited for the first time on an early Sunday evening. We were seated at a booth right next to the kitchen door so every meal, every dirty dish was whisked by our table. My husband had the wedge salad to start and very much enjoyed it. He had scallops for his main course. The presentation was appealing but the scallops were too small to be pan seared and turned out overcooked and rubbery. I had the filet since it was the only prime steak on the menu that was sized for a single person. It was cooked perfectly but it was flavorless. For sides we had some sort of cheese potatoes which were just boiled cubed potatoes with loads of shredded cheese poured on them. It was more like a dish you would get at a fair in the Midwest than something in a fine dining experience. We had grilled asparagus as well and that was fine. Our server was adequate but nothing special. The brightest spot in the evening was engaging with the parking attendant, Phillip. Given the very high price for the evening, I would not go again.
Omgosh the drinks & Presentation was Amazing
This was an outstanding dinner. The service was impeccable and the food was rave worthy. We tried the signature drinks the smoking bourbon was excellent but I would have enjoyed that with my steak vs before with my soup. The 24K martini was excellent and the With Love, Eddie bourbon was our all time favorite drink and we want more of it!! Steaks were done to perfection and the Crab fried rice was fantastic. Our servers and food runners were all top notch and deserved their tips! This was a pricey dinner for just the 2 of us but worth every cent we paid.
Dinner
I find that this restaurant is ranked 180th in Ft Lauderdale to be comical. We are Foodies and eat only at higher end restaurants. This restaurant ranks up there with them all. Great Food, Service, Ambiance, Drink/Wine list--what more do you need? Little pricey, but you know that going in. Crispy Branzino turned my wife into a fish eater....would definitely return
Stick to the Branzino and Lobster tacos
The first time went we had lobster bisque, lobster tacos, Goat cheese salad, and Branzino . The lobster bisque was fishing, the lobster tacos were very good and the Branzino was good but not a lot of good choices for desert . Second time was worse calamari was OK, but the surf and turf was horrible, they took a good piece of main lobster and put smoked paprika on it. That’s all it tasted like, and the steak was so over salted. The brussels sprouts were the worst brussels sprouts I have ever had I could not eat them. The manager came by to see how our meal was and I complained and he said nothing. Why even bother? A $300.00 meal for 2 should be great and consistent .
Eddie V's Encore: A Performance to Remember
In the pursuit of an elegant and refined dining experience, we, along with a bunch of friends, reserved Dinner at Eddie V's Prime Seafood in Fort Lauderdale. We learned about the affiliation of Eddie V's with a Texan lineage of restaurants, a testament to a culinary pedigree that transcends regional boundaries. The allure of our initial visit was so compelling that, within a mere week, we found ourselves drawn back to this stylish restaurant. This time, we had the privilege of securing a private room. We were told that there was a three-person opening team headed by Jason who had orchestrated an experience characterized by seamless precision. The attentive ministrations of Mike, our adept waiter further embellished this. Michael, the amiable manager, graced our table with a personal greeting that bespoke the establishment's dedication to hospitality and cultivating a friendly ambiance. With an intimate knowledge of the menu, the waitstaff seamlessly navigates the intricacies of each dish. Our gastronomic Soirée unfolded against a backdrop of live music. The cocktails, a prelude to our epicurean voyage, showcased a perfect margarita and a smoked Old Fashioned, each imbued with craftsmanship indicative of mixological prowess. These were not mere beverages; they were crafted elixirs. The hot, crusty bread adorned with butter and a sprinkle of salt—an elemental yet sublime beginning. The excellent lobster bisque, a velvety concoction enriched with cream and cognac, heralded what followed. The Chilean sea bass, rendered in an Asian-style infusion of ginger and soy, danced on the palate with a mélange of nuanced flavors. The crab fried rice, a culinary symphony of textures and tastes, was a testament to the adept alchemy in the kitchen. The Norwegian salmon, glazed with mustard and rye whiskey, emerged as an opus that resonated with gustatory euphoria. The Jumbo Lump Crab cake, adorned with a spicy chive remoulade, showcased the gourmet finesse that defines the establishment. The Tofu and vegetable stir-fry bathed in a Kung Pau sauce was a vegetarian ode amidst the oceanic symphony. The preparation of a hot oil infusion was a sensory ballet performed with precision, garlic, and chili, all unfolding fresh at our table. Each dish, each pour, and each interaction resonate as a note in this choreographed feast, leaving us with a melodic memory that lingers long after the final refrain.
Excellent Dinner
This was our first time dining at Eddie V's and we were very impressed. The cocktails were excellent. The lobster tail was huge and tasty. The scallops were tasty as well. We look forward to returning to Eddie V's.
Enjoyable Anniversary
We have dined at Eddie V’s on our anniversary two times now…. last year and this year. The food is good, the ambiance is inviting and the music is very much appreciated. Last year we received a 40th anniversary dessert at no charge but this year we were handed a card with servers’ signatures. I read another recent review and they received complimentary champagne and a dessert… so just wondering what the actual policy is regarding special occasions?? Is it entirely up to each server.. I was actually disappointed because don’t really think the card is really necessary since we don’t really know anyone who’s signature was on the card.. I personally think that could be omitted.. a small dessert offered for a special occasion would have been nice… our filet mignon, cocktails, appetizer mac and cheese and salad were well worth a small “something”.. just saying.
Amazing dining experiences
This place was absolutely spectacular! Jose and Byron were wonderful! We enjoyed every moment of my birthday celebration immensely. Starting with the Hope Diamond. I'm not going to give away the twist, but you can not miss out on this experience! It is an exquisite drink and experience in itself. Every ones steaks were perfection. The sea bass was so flavourful. The jumbo shrimp had a minor kick but was still delicious. The lobster bisque was superb and another must have experience also. Desserts were exquisite also. The bananas foster I cannot describe how incredible of an experience it was also. The crab cake was wonderful, as well as crab fried rice. They were very accommodating with a dairy allergy in the group. They were able to saute in oil and not butter and make adjustments so everyone can enjoy. Service is beyond exceptional, and the food and presentation are indescribable. You can tell they take a lot of pride in plating and presentation. The entire experience is above and beyond. It was my first time going, and I can't wait to experience it again. Byron and Jose are wonderful and so was all the staff.

The site doesn't have resources to properly execute a reservation transfer. Some places allow it however the best bet is to open a chat on the listing from the seller and communicate there

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
