Brunch was struggle city
Out of Bloody Marys, out of pancakes - disappointing! Food was good and came out quickly. Might be a better spot for dinner than brunch.
Be the first to ReplyCozy and delicious coastal italian
Incredible meal at Faccia a Faccia -- loved everything we had. Large room with cozy ambiance, central bar, open kitchen. Highlights included the mozzarella sticks (never had a mozzarella stick with caviar on it!). Delicious and just a bit over the top. Whipped Ricotta was fresh and delicious. Iberico Sausage and Chicken Milanese were probably the favorites. We had high hopes for a Jamie Bissonnette restaurant but were not let down. Will definitely be back.
Be the first to ReplyA cut above the rest
This Italian restaurant is a cut above the rest. It had a real buzz to it and the food was inventive (but not weird!) Italian rather than the old favourites that one tends to find in average Italian restaurants. The whipped ricotta with roasted Brussels sprouts was excellent, as was the Verde Vongole. The star was the dessert, baked sorrentina, The addition of yuzu ensured that it was not too sweet, unlike some other meringue desserts. Great selection of Italian wines and attentive service. We would definitely go back.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful!
I recommend sitting at bar to fully enjoy the full ambiance of this wonderful restaurant! Octopus, bay scallops en crudo, and pastas are stand-outs. Also a major shoutout for the Sardinian Connanau red wine - Sarja!!! Really great! Staff knows menu well & can describe best on menu! Fun atmosphere! Highly recommended!!!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Experience
This restaurant has helpful friendly staff, and excellent food. The Iberian sausage was especially noteworthy. The wine list is excellent and reasonably priced. Reservations are essential and difficult to get. One of the owners told us that even with a no-show fee, they get many cancellations, so if you can't get a reservation, try to call the night you want to come.
Be the first to ReplyJamie and Ken have done it again!
Wow! What a great meal! We are big fans of Coppa and Toro, and Jamie and Ken have hit it out of the park with their newest addition. Every bite we had was delicious and perfectly seasoned from the smaller plates like Grandmaโs bread and grilled octopus right down to to our main pasta courses. The surprise of the night may have been the stuffed olives! Our server was whimsical and funny and made our visit a pleasant one. We will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Food, VERY Pricey
Food is excellent, as is service, but the prices are ridiculous for pretty small plates. $42 for breaded chicken and a little bit of shaved artichokes......really? The fried artichokes are the best I've had, including Rome, but $21 for a pretty small portion? $24 for fancy scrambled eggs on toast?
Be the first to ReplyWorth the price- excellent food
Amazing food - best bowls of pasta we've ever eaten! On the pricier side but definitely worth it. Lovely decor and atmosphere too. Ali, our waitress, was so lovely and cheery! Highly recommended.

Went to Faccia a Faccia with new friends for Dinner on 12/23. First time for all. Had 5:30 reservation. Only time available. We are all approx. 75 yrs old and were enjoying each otherโs company. Drank wine and conversed for 45 minutes and weโre just about ready to order when assistant mgr Aaron came to our table to tell us we needed to order asap as we had been there too long w/o ordering and the table was promised to others later that evening. Ruined the evening. Incredibly rude. Is that how Oringer trains his staff? Will never go back.

Everything is a must-try dish at Faccia a faccia, @facciaboston Another Ken Oringer hit. The pasta was not the highlight. Good but not exceptional. My favorites: black bass crudo, garlic hanger steak, and the apple pancake (crispy edges and fluffy). Also loved the upbeat ambiance and energy of the place. Not your usual Sunday brunch bistro vibe.
