Fahrenheit Cleveland Reviews from The Last Year
Looks better than it tastes; Disappointing overall.
We went to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday. The ambiance is very good, the cocktails at the bar are tasty. Presentation very nice. We ordered the $160 seafood tower. Interesting presentation, sparse offerings. No melted butter even though there are crab legs and lobster on the tower. What should have been butter was a little tin of dry ice. Didn't flow, cutesy, but better if it was butter. There were medium sized shrimp, delicious tuna, and oysters. Lots of ice, sparing of everything else. Portions are small and we were served two buns for 7 people. We asked for more bread and were told there is a $6 per bun charge over two. The buns were tasty, but again, not enough to give each person more than a bit. We asked for butter, since some of us are not olive oil fans. The one portion that was large was the side dish of fries. They were good, and there were a heap of them on the plate. One little pot of ketchup. The short ribs were ok, sesame noodles were interesting. Honestly, the other entrees, some sort of fish dishes, were not memorable and the portions were small. Salads (we ordered all of them) were good. We got a complimentary dessert birthday thingy, red velvet cake, free but not particularly special. We were hoping to order the Bananas Foster, but were told everyone had to pay for it (three diabetics in the group) since it's a show. So we got baked alaska- it was not good. We ordered the cotton candy dessert and a gelato . The presentation of the dessert, bread pudding pieces (four) and some chocolaty things and dipping sauce was clever. The baked Alaska was covered in cotton candy, but they set it on fire. I do better baked Alaska at home. The birthday boy put it best, looks great/interesting, taste meh. I'd rate it A for style, C- for flavor, D for portion size. Really, baking bread in-house is excellent, but for the cost of bread ingredients, you could give one bun for two people, instead of one for four.

Food was bad, drink menu was unimpressive and ambiance was ok. For the prices they charge there's better options in Cleveland.
Super cool ambiance.
Lively bar. Service was great, ask for angel! Food is very obviously chef inspired and so so good. Best new "splash" in downtown for years!
So I went to this: https://www.
cleveland.com/entertainment/2024/03/fahrenheits-rocco-whalen-to-host-one-night-of-wellington-cooking-class-in-cleveland.html I feel like the most prima of donnas complaining about it, but it absolutely was NOT a "cooking class", nor was it "hands on", unless you count eating. Rocco did a 25 minute demo of wrapping a Wellington and making bananas Foster. Which would have been good if I could see through the people in front of me. Which I couldn't. The "3-hour event" lasted 1:30. The food was very good, but didn't blow me away. I feel kinda bad for being disappointed, but the only thing I learned from this "class" is not to sign up for another one at Fahrenheit.
My husband and myself came in for Easter brunch.
This was our first time here at this location. We thought overall the food was good, fairly enough food for two people ( food was served family style). I think the temperature of the food could have been better, some items were warmer than others.... Yet some items were barely warm. One thing that we thought was disappointing was the ham, It was not ham off bone. It was already pre-sliced ham, that they glazed. The ham had good flavor, I just would have hoped that in an upscale restaurant they would have had ham off the bone that they had made themselves at the restaurant. Overall, all of the food had good flavor. We would like to stop back down for dinner service, in the near future.
Wow, sadly, this was such a disappointment.
I had been so excited to come to Fahrenheit and decided to celebrate my birthday here. And I don't think I'll be coming back. The ambiance: it's classy and elegant, dark with red accents. The vibe itself is stellar but I just can't warrant the price tag associated with the food considering how much we were incredibly underwhelmed. The food: Here's where things go downhill. The complimentary focaccia was fine--nothing overly impressive. They serve it with an olive oil mixed with honey which we weren't expecting (or thought was necessary). The potato nachos were essentially potato chips doused in cheese sauce and a bit of bacon. They also were the best thing we ate all night (yikes). The Dan Dan dumplings...for $17 are so so mediocre it pained us. Do yourself a favor and get the spicy wontons at LJ Shanghai and realize just how stark the contrast between these dumplings and actual high quality (and cheaper) dumplings. We ordered the wagyu short rib. Tiny portion for the price tag, the noodles it was served on were cold and oddly sweet as well. And to round it up-the lobster Mac n cheese. "Weirdly sweet" seems to be the theme because this dish was not Mac n cheese. It tasted like it was doused in sugar, it was lukewarm at best, and there was maybe 4 tiny pieces of lobster meat. We had to send it back and we NEVER send food back. My boyfriend eats everything and he gagged when he tried this dish. They gave me a birthday dessert which I appreciate! But it was also very dry, the chocolate sauce had dried to the plate as if it had been sitting out awhile. The service: was wonderful initially. As soon as we sent the dish back, we definitely felt a shift in the energy. We don't blame the server whatsoever for the quality of our meal, and we were going to tip appropriately regardless. But the attitude we got after sending the dish was not the same as prior. Really bummed about the whole experience. It just wasn't a great birthday meal or meal in general.

Wow! What happened to this place? The Tremont location was my favorite place. The new down place was awful! It started with the host. Empty restaurant, had a reservation but we still had to wait at the bar for our table. 1 waitress for the whole place. I st smoked manhattan was great. 2nd they didn't bother to smoke it & it was missing the bitters. The server tried to fix it. The lobster Mac n cheese was a cold gelatinous ball of nastiness. Again server took it back, but they clearly nuked it. The drink was $25 & the lobster Mac n Cheese was $48. Both should have been removed from the bill. I didn't eat or drink them. The worst part Anthony the manager just said "ok". Didn't even apologize. Just wow. Sold out Rocco Whalen or just don't care?
I had my birthday dinner here and it was okay.
It was not bad but it was not exceptionally good either. The ambiance is very nice. It looks really pretty. Great for photos. The cocktail were mid. If i am paying over $15 for a cocktail is should be a crafted cocktail. The food was okay . For apps I had the Ahi Poke Nachos and chicken spring rolls. The spring rolls were really good. Some of the party even got those as their meal as well. I got the lamb chops as an entree they were okay. Nothing really special about them. I would go but maybe for happy hour next time.
Have been twice and love the vibe- very metropolitan inside.
The servers are helpful and attentive, not pushy. Our food ranged from phenomenal to just okay. The short ribs are 5/5, the shrimp app 5/5, the scallops were underwhelming and the tuna tacos were even smaller than you would think! The Ahi is fresh and tasty though! The drinks are STRONG and perfect! Will be back.
Upscale restaurant.
The bar area is nice. Not a loud place. Good to have a couple of cocktails. Did not eat here.

Was excited to try a new venue before heading to the Playhouse. Made reservations online and was seated immediately. Loved the decor and the atmosphere. There is MAJOR construction going on along the street, so our hands were tied to valet due to not knowing other options. It took a few mins for the valet to approach us (we just left our car on the street and sort of walked around looking for someone). Finally he approached us and said it was $15 to valet. Hmmm ... We started with the spicy crab sushi dip. It was delicious, but was served with seaweed "chips" for dipping. Except there was no dipping - bc the seaweed was like paper, so you sort of scooped and folded it to eat it (our waitress was upfront about this). It was a cool concept, but we both agreed an alternative of really thin/light crackers would have been our preference. I ordered the filet w steak Diane sauce. The sauce had more of a sweet taste than I prefer, but all a matter of preference. I do wish there was a smaller option than a 10 oz which is awfully big for a meal w/appetizers etc. Husband ordered the short rib and thought it had great flavor! Service was impeccable and very professional. Upon exiting we waited about 15 mins for our valet (on a Tuesday night). We thought we read online that valet was free (and it would have been a nice option considering what you spend on dinner) - and due to the construction. Overall was a neat experience!

Visited on a Friday evening with my husband and some of his colleagues. Loved the decor - very upscale and modern, while still being cozy. Three of us at the table ordered the waygu short rib. It was extremely tender, and the ramen was well flavored. Portion was a little small, but ended up being quite filling. My husband got the special which was a beer battered walleye with jalapeño hushpuppies and fries. The fish (especially the breading) was excellent. The hushpuppies left a bit to be desired, but they may have just been a bit cold by the time they got to us. I don't know that it was necessarily worth the large price tag or if we'll be back, but overall it was a nice experience and great meal.
I was so excited to come to Fahrenheit and it definitely
I was so excited to come to Fahrenheit and it definitely hit high expectations for the ambiance. It's dark and classy. Food had some highs and lows. If I came back, I would just eat a bunch of appetizers because the fried scallops special and dan dan dumplings were delicious. The scallops were juicy and crispy at the same time. The dumplings had a filling I've never had before and the chili oil was bomb. The Chinese salad was so bland and legit tasted like eating water. The ravioli was good but seemed extremely overpriced ($39) for corn and mushroom and flour. The short rib is a classic which I'm glad I got again but it was a little too sauced and salty for me and there was only two sleeves of bok choy. Overall had a decent time but I'm not rushed to go back there because things were hit and miss and the entrees a little overpriced.
Dining at Fahrenheit is the quintessential restaurant
Dining at Fahrenheit is the quintessential restaurant experience. They've got everything covered! The cocktails are off the charts unique, ambiance is spectacular, service is on the mark, and the food is a culinary adventure. If you haven't been to the new location at 55 Public Square, you're missing out. Everything from the bread and dipping oil, starters, salads, entrees and desserts are truly an amazing dining experience you don't want to miss. Bravo Rocco, we loved the new restaurant, thank you for making my birthday dinner special. Will be back again!
This place lives up to the hype.
We have been wanting to try this since its relocation from the Tremont area. We went here before attending Mama Mia at Playhouse Square. The ambiance is chic and modern. The waitresses had was amazing. We told her our time schedule for the play and she timed everything perfectly without rushing any part of the meal. She was there when we needed her but never was invading our private dinner space. The menu is extensive and everything we had was amazing. The fig appetizer and potato nachos were standouts. My pork tenderloin was one of the best meals I've ever had. We always try to hit a new place each time we dine before a play but this is gonna have to become a regular stop.
Great ambiance and Service.
Happy hour menu is well priced and delicious. The lobster mac and cheese was amazing! You only need to order the side portion it was big enough for two!
My buddy Pete and I wandered in to eat before a show.
This place rocked. We both started off with West Coast oysters and they did not disappoint. I went with the lamb chops and Pete had the halibut. Both were fantastic. I also ordered the apple salad which was really good and there was a lot of it. If I were to do it again I might order a small plate and one of the salads. Too much food is not a complaint. The wine list was really good, If you order an Old Fashion you are in for an amazing experience. Our waiter, Dray (sp?), was great, top line service. I'm looking forward to going back and diving into the rest of the menu.
Fahrenheit needs to raise the temperature and quality of food
Fahrenheit is now located on Cleveland Public Square, about 15 minutes from its old location. Initially had drinks at the bar. I had the Janea and my gf had a vodka cocktail. They were good but bit pricey. For an appetizer we shared Oysters Rocco-feller. We did not enjoy these. Very small portion and the taste was bland For entree my gf had the halibut. It tasted salty. I had two appetizers for my entree'. The first was lobster mac. Very little lobster and the entire dish tasted chalky. The second were the dumplings. Not good. Once again the sauce seemed to mask the blandness of the dish. These things were brought to the attention of management and it took $40 off our bill. This was appreciated by me.
New Location is Wonderful
We recently went to the new location for Fahrenheit in downtown Cleveland. While we loved the location in Tremont, the new location has a better layout and amazing menu. Craft cocktails and a wonderful appetizer menu great you after available valet parking. My wife had the lamb chops, and I had the prime filet. Both were cooked to perfection, seasoned well and delicious. The cotton candy tree desert is not only fun, but also very tasty. Lots of managers working the floor. We had a small issue with our dessert, but the managers were all over it and resolved it quickly. I highly recommend you stop by and support this wonderful Cleveland restaurant.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!

I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
