I ordered their signature burger which was delicious, but a little hard to handle for me as it fell apart. Huge portion of addictive shoestring fries came along with it.

So good! Pancakes were light and fluffy and the fruit was fresh. Nice service and cool vibe. Chorizo side was delicious and the drinks were tasty. Definitely worth the hype. Good spot for the summer as they have lots of outdoor seating but the inside has the best atmosphere.
Since they change the new chef.
There food is going down. Same menu but the flavor and quality are wayyyy too different. I have been there so many times but now less. Grilled chicken is so dry, salad is drowning in dressing. Steak is over cooked and very too chewy, fries are greasy. Not worth the money. How many mistakes can you make?
Five leaves is my place to indulge! The food is scrumptious.
The energy is lively and the service is always on point! It's a quaint place and filled with warmth.
Neighborhood vibes
Nice place to stop for lunch or snack, well located, great outdoor seating areas to watch people go by. Coffees weren’t the best and if you order a cold dish, it’s very cold, not room temp. Food wasn’t outstanding or well seasoned when we went.

A cozy little cafe tucked into the heart of Williamsburg -- they have plenty of outdoor seating, where we opted to sit and enjoy nice weather. We just walked in on a Saturday morning and got seated immediately for a group of 3. The servers are helpful and food came out pretty quickly. I got the Sage Scramble and really loved the flavor, though I felt the egg was a smidge overcooked for my taste. Good vibes, solid brunch menu, I'd come back!
The food is great.
Specifically recommend their signature Burger! It's delicious and my new go to. The service is just okay, took a while to get staff attention and more water. If you're outside on a very sunny summer day, just know it gets incredibly hot outside, some of the tables are super cramped, so recommend the shaded outdoor area. That said the ambiance is amazing, love going and really taking in the vibe. Wonderful to just be right across the park as well for a quick walk before or after
Great spot to have a drink
Cool spot to drink a cocktail, coffee, have breakfast or lunch. The food is good, service great. Love the location and the vibe.
This is possibly the best brunch place I have ever been to.
Every menu item was delicious--I ordered a side of scrambled eggs and truffle fries since I happened to be quite full, and I also tried their ricotta pancakes and Moroccan scramble. The presentation of all the dishes was beautiful. The truffle fries were chefs kiss. The scrambled eggs were exquisite--I tried to sub egg whites but they don't do that, and I don't usually like egg yolk but these were quite delicious. The ricotta pancakes were a bit fluffy but not too dense. The Moroccan scramble was also delightful--great combo of flavors and tasted very fresh and rejuvenating. Came on a Sunday, and they don't take brunch reservations. The wait was 45min, ended up taking around an hour to account for getting the table ready etc, but the time passed relatively quickly bc Mccarren park is nearby and the neighborhood in general is nice to walk around. Service was also solid, no complaints. The waitress was very attentive with our water level status, which is always a plus. Only downside is there's only one bathroom, so there was quite a wait. I will definitely be coming back here--every item was so yummy. This might be my new obsession.
Unethical Practices - Beware I'd give ZERO stars if I
Unethical Practices - Beware I'd give ZERO stars if I could. I've been dining at Five Leaves for almost a year now. While I typically enjoy my experiences there, my recent visit was disappointing. Despite indicating a specific tip percentage on my bill, I was charged extra for gratuity without my permission. Initially, I thought it might have been a simple oversight, but after checking Yelp reviews, it appears to be a recurring issue. I emailed the management about the problem, but I haven't received a response yet. Furthermore, I've noticed a trend of rudeness from the waitstaff during my last few visits. This behavior, directed not only towards me but also towards other Asian customers, was unexpected and disappointing. It's challenging for me not to connect these two issues. ** Update as of 3/11 - The manager responded to my email, explaining that the system's setup allows for adding tips on the back end, making it prone to mistakes, especially when servers are rushing at the end of their shifts. I received a refund for the tip. I hope they'll fix the system so this won't happen to anyone else in the future!
Yummy! Great portion sizes and cool space.
Service was satisfactory and the location was easy to find. Would recommend.
Go ahead Yelp, make my morning.
I do not sleep, I just constantly think about what my next meal will be. This was it. Ricotta Pancakes with strawberries, blueberries, and a side of chorizo and two over easy eggs. Baby I hear the blues are callin'... Uh what? Where did this review go? It went into hyperdrive with a helping of syrup and pulp orange juice. Ew. Nasty. Not the pancakes! Those were awesome. The fruit too. Actually everything was. Bom. Bom. Dancehall music plays. Greenpoint embraces. What a meal to eat. Oof.
came here for brunch on a tuesday around 1130a.
we had a reservation but we didn't really need it as it wasn't that busy. the staff is really sweet but the tables were pretty close together and the tables were a bit on the smaller size-barely fit our two pancakes and fries. the credit card machine was down so we had to go to the ATM and get cash which was a bit annoying. besides those two flops, the pancakes were VERY filling-couldn't finish it but were really good-fresh fruit and the maple butter paired very well with the pancakes. just a bit on the expensive side but that's New York for you!
A perfect spot for brunch even though the wait is always
A perfect spot for brunch even though the wait is always super long on weekends. Their ricotta pancake is phenomenal, the best one yet I've ever tried. Moroccan scramble was also nice. Will definitely revisit for the ricotta pancake.
Excellent quick bite with friendly service
Wonderful Australian speciality: the Aussie roll was delicious. Shared it with my wife and would have ordered my own if I knew how good it was! We were stopping for quick bites and everyone enjoyed their orders.... can recommend the BLAT, the spicy chicken and the burger. But I wouldn't change my own order... the Aussie roll is one great sandwich. Order two.

I've eaten here a few times and the food is expensive and mediocre with long waits. I actually had one of the worst NYC dining experiences here when a giant and I mean GIANT cockroach wondered onto the booth where my friend and I were sitting. Being understanding New Yorkers, we alerted the wait staff about its presence. It must have been poisoned or something because it wouldn't move. A waitress calmly asked us to get up and she smashed the massive bug in front of us, then we sat back down throughly disgusted. We thought that we'd get our meal comped or at least our cocktails for being discreet during the ordeal but we got nothing! Not even a sorry. This place is pathetic.
Food is good.
...need another restroom though. People taking to long and managers kept knocking on door. Annoying but if you feel like waiting 20 minutes for a stall by all means this is your place.
Pleasant surprise
They recommended the place to us, we went even though we had to make several subway combinations from Manhattan. It was worth it, good food, good service and a different environment, with less stress and carefree.
