Frasca.
What a nice atmosphere and really fine service. NOT WORTH the $s! My wife and I shared dishes and had 2 drinks ea and still had a $350 bill! Sorry, that's just ridiculous! Looks like plenty of folks will pay for the privilege, so good for Frasca. Not so much us!
Be the first to ReplyThe service and ambiance at Frasca was absolutely top notch.
However the largest praise needs to go to the knowledge of wine that all members of the staff had. It's one thing to claim to be a "Food and Wine" location but another thing to actually dedicate the time and energy to have a superb wine collection. As for the food, I want to address some of the complaints I saw on yelp before going that had me a bit worried. Multiple people have said that the food did not live up to their expectations given the price tag. Frasca is inspired by the Friuli region of Italy, having lived in that area for a couple years I can say that they unabashedly capture the food of that area superbly. However, Friuli (and northeast Italy) food is not what many people in America think of when they hear "Italian" food. Rather than compromise their food for American tastes they offer exactly the food they claim to represent. This comes with authenticity but isn't what some people might be expecting. So just be aware that you won't be getting bolognese at this Italian restaurant.Ultimately we had a fun night and enjoyed our time the wine and the food all in equal measure.

This used to be my favorite restaurant and every time we went, it was outstanding. Both the food and service always were spot-on. My husband and I have been going here for years but this last time, things were off. We were served well after other tables who came in later. We are talking 30 minutes after another table arrived, ordered, and got their first course, we finally got to place our order. It was strange. Most of the staff was great, especially the gentleman taking our drink orders, but our server was pretty rude. The whole time she acted like she didn't want to be there and that she was annoyed. Something was definitely going on with her that night and we felt pretty unwelcome there. As for the food- the sashimi was outstanding as usual. The frico caldo is a go-to item for us always. It is outstanding to start with. My husband's root vegetable salad was good too. The 2 pasta dishes we had were fantastic- perfectly seasoned and so delicious. But the Salmon entree was under seasoned and the items it came with were bland. Just not much flavor for a simple poached salmon I could have cooked at home and I was disappointed. My husband was also disappointed with the ribeye- just not as flavorful as he would have liked. Our desserts were a little too artistic and a little underwhelming on flavor this time around as well. Again, this was just not as good as we have been used to for the last decade we have been going to it. We will definitely go here again, hoping this was just an off-night.
Be the first to ReplyNot ridiculously expensive, but expensive.
I was a little disappointed as I heard really good things about this restaurant but I don't think their dishes lived up to the name of their reputation. I liked the shrimp being paired with the flavor of thin celery root. But the shrimp texture felt overcooked. The duck was pretty good though, texture wise. Rice felt a little too hard, felt undercooked, maybe on purpose but I personally wasn't a big fan of that texture. Overall, I dont think any of the dishes were bad, just a bit underwhelming in terms of composition of flavors. I don't think the flavors of the star ingredient was being highlighted. Dessert was my least favorite, foam collapsed more into a sweet soup? Everything is very small portioned and you will likely walk away hungry..

Though the ambiance is not particularly exciting, the presentation, food, and service at this establishment is world class. Most importantly? The menu is locally sourced. I was pleasantly surprised! The zuca, cervo & mela are MUST have's. Definitely one of the better restaurants I've had in Colorado

My partner and I had the most magnificent meal of our entire lives here to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. It was a beautiful and romantic setting and our table was wonderful cozy and pristine. The service was outstanding, our waiters and hostess were charming and kind and took amazing care of us. They helped us pick the perfect bottle of wine for our 5 course meal. We were even given complimentary chocolate truffles in honor of our anniversary! It's hard to pick a favorite but I will say there was not a single thing we were served that we did not enjoy IMMENSELY. We will absolutely return and we will be recommending this place to everyone we know.
Be the first to ReplyAn absolute must at least once.
Very expensive and very worth it. Amazing menu, service was above and beyond, incredible ambiance.

Outstanding!!!! We tried to get a reservation for some time and frustrating as it was, I must say worth the wait. Service is impeccable and like a well run machine. It's a team that never missed a beat. The way the staff traveled the room no one ever crossed another's path. Yea. I was taken by the entire operationWe sat in the main dining room that seemed more cold then homey but it was alive and bright, just a note as either way is good. We were walked thru the menus and once we ordered the wine appeared followed by the chef sending out very tasty soup. Let me mention that the dish wear was unique that helped featured what it held. The appetizers arrived timed perfectly giving us a few min to enjoy our wine and settle in. The appetizers were the kick off that lead to a delectable experience Once our appetizer plates were removed along with our silverware, right behind the lifting we were immediately provided new place settings and additional home made style breadTo keep this short we were captivated by each course. The flavors were amazing2 people with wine was $398 and a very memorable experience. We're looking forward to returning. Oh. The duck and steak were outstanding along with the game and bore pastas. (Wish they did a half and half in the bowel) Frasca team...thank you for the great time!!!

I think this was the most amazing dining experience I've ever had. Creative, beautiful, delicious food, unbeatable service, nice room/ambiance. We came for our thirtieth anniversary, but before the meal was over, I was trying to think of the next occasion we might return for. Just exquisite!

Came here for a business dinner and my meal at Frasca was one of my finest dining experiences. The service- ambiance- food: all impeccable and amazing. For Salumi: Prosciutto and Frico CaldoAntipasto: CrudoPrimi: RisottoSecondi: PolloDolci: Cocco E FragolaI can rave about each item, but have to give an extra shout-out to the cocco e fragola- seriously the best dessert I may have ever had.Really glad to have had the pleasure of dining here.
Be the first to ReplyFor me this is a lovely special occasion restaurant.
My salad was a bit sandy, they provided a new one, the rest of the meal was tip top! Amazing wine selection.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing!! Menu is multi course, not a la carte.
They timed out each course perfectly. Everything was great! Interesting and presented beautifully without being too out there and still very delicious. We sat at the bar which was great to see the bartender making so many intricate cocktails! Wonderful people, atmosphere, and experience

Finally got to check Frasca off the bucket list for a recent birthday and the experience was impeccable. We started off with Paper Planes while perusing the menus and had the fiore di zucca to start - incredible! We ordered the four course menu and being a vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised to find so many options. The wine the sommelier helped us select was perfect. All the dishes came out perfectly timed and were stunningly beautiful. The sole was a highlight and the green strawberry sorbet is what dreams are made of, even the bread was spectacular. We loved the highly attentive and warm service, at least half a dozen staff must have wished me a happy birthday. It was a truly special experience I can't wait to repeat!

Lovely service, they were able to accommodate our table of 7 with out a problem. Great wine recommendations to accompany a great menu. A wonderful experience for my sisters graduation. We were all very happy, including all the family members that came from New York City, Miami Florida, Buenos Aires Argentina, Portland Oregon, etc. Will definitely be coming back soon!
Be the first to ReplyThe ambiance was elegant.
The service was attentive and European. The food was good. In particular, the English pea soup (on the house) and the frico caldo were tasty. The desserts were memorable, including the one with the beet sorbet. Considering the high-end production, my wife and I expected to hit "wow" with the primi and secondi plates, and we didn't. It was good and that was it.
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I celebrated our anniversary to Frasca
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary to Frasca recently and we had a lovely experience.Service was outstanding and the atmosphere, after renovation, remains modern and sophisticated, with less tables since Covid which I love.We had the four course menu, portions were perfect, small enough to enjoy the full experience but not ridiculously so.You can order A la carte, but you have to ask the waiter who told us it's basically $25 antipasti, $ 35 primi, $45 secondi and $25 dolci or desserts. There is also a six course menu that will set you back $195.Even though we've been to Italy a few times on vacation, I needed help to decipher the menu and our waiter was perfect for translating Balanzoni, Creste di Gallo and other Italian specialties, avoiding me the embarrassment of using Google translate. I know it's a trend in restaurants, but it always slightly annoys me as more snobbish than authentic. Maybe if you keep the original name you should make sure you describe the dish well enough so that you know you are getting some sort of stuffed pasta when ordering Blanzoni. While I liked everything I tasted, and each plate was perfectly crafted with the best ingredients, I found some of them not exciting enough, I wanted to be blown away considering the price. My favorite dish was the lobster antipasti, while the primi squid tagliolini and the secondi chicken were both excellent but to me lacked that extra touch that makes a place different and spectacular. For dessert, the Limone (like a deconstructed French lemon tart), didn't really work for me, my husband's chocolate and mint cake offered a very interesting mix of textures with very subtle mint flavor, but somehow overall was almost too bland.I know taste is very subjective and most people love everything at Frasca considering the awards and how much you have to plan ahead to get a reservation for a weekend dinner.I am glad we chose Frasca to celebrate, this is a special place, especially considering the price (we spend a little more than $200 each including drinks and tip, it would have been closer to $300 each for the six course menu). But when I ponder about the bill, I am not sure it's the best choice, that's the only part I have a little bit of a hard time digesting. But then, Frasca is special and I had a memorable evening.

Mechanics. Detailed formal service. Exquisite food. Stunning wine list. The foundation of the experience dining at frasca is as solid as it gets. The awards and the reputation of this restaurant are well deserved. It's crystal clear that everyone here is really working, and at the very top of their game. But the special thing is they make it look effortless. The hospitality is extraordinary. It's like a very special occasion at your best friend's house. No one needs me to report this obvious news. But, jeez, the world can certainly use some pure beauty right now. Trust me. It's at frasca.
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favorite restaurants.
The service, atmosphere, food and drinks are simply excellent. Whether a special occasion or just for a special meal to get away for the evening, Frasca will not let you down. Rose and her team always makes you feel at home and the inspiring dishes have lovely unique twists. I have been going here since it opened and simply love this place.

One of the top five restaurants I have ever been to regarding food and wine. A gigantically impressive wine list. The food is out of this world. I don't like many sommeliers but the head sommelier there is fantastic and knows his shit. Plus, the owner, Bobby Stuckey, is world renowned in wine. This restaurant has been rated number one in the nation several times. Anytime you want to take me out to Frasca, I will go with you.
Be the first to ReplyUnbelievable food and dining experience.
My boyfriend and I went for Valentine's Day and loved it. Our sommelier Ian was so fun and helpful, and the food was the best I've had in Colorado. Being from the east coast I'm always complaining that it's hard to find good food in Denver but this place is in a league of its own. Highly recommend!
