Excellent breakfast! Scrambled eggs were super creamy and fluffy, Bloody Mary was excellent with a kick, grilled halloumi was tasty and sourdough toast was perfectly done.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service and lovely ambiance.
I had shrimp cakes and fries, both of which were perfect.

We came to this little gem because my husband saw a review that mentioned thinking about those pancakes for two months. I'm not a pancake person so I ordered eggs & toast, he stuck with his decision to order the pancakes. I regret not ordering them for myself. My eggs were perfectly cooked and the toast!! That toast was delicious. But I tasted his pancakes, and wanted more. They are killer! Funny thing is my husband had a meeting that afternoon... and guess where they went? Yeah. Back to Grangers and he got those pancakes AGAIN!! They are seriously that good. And for as busy as it was, the staff seemed to keep things moving. Highly recommend. Go get those pancakes.

clean and delicious food! highly recommend the corn fritters. staff was quick and kind. cute atmosphere too!
Be the first to ReplyThis place was so good.
Great vibes. It's Australian, but Asian inspired for sure. A lot of the dishes they had on the menu were very Asian. I think the cuisine is labeled wrong on Yelp since it says it's modern British cuisine. The service was good. Very clean. The restroom is downstairs which can be confusing to find. What we got:Courgette chips 6/10Korean fried chicken- it was in yangyum sauce 7/10Lemongrass chicken salad 10/10Grilled chicken salad 8/10Fresh green juice 10/10If I ever stay in the area, I'll definitely be back. The quality of the food was really good. It gets very lively here and there's usually a wait to get a table.

A friend and I were visiting London for a quick trip, and in our search for the best brunch spot in town, we found Granger & Co. It absolutely lived up to the hype.On a Thursday morning, we found the place quite packed, but opted to sit outside where we were waited on very well despite the rush indoors. Our drinks--fresh OJ and a chai latte--arrived quickly followed by our main dishes. We got the corn fritters, which were packed with flavor and fresh ingredients, the whole corn kernels bursting in our mouths. But the real show stopper was the hotcakes. Thick, pillowy, and not too sweet, the hotcakes are absolutely divine.I am still thinking about those hotcakes 2 months after our trip and mourn that I can't return any time I want. For all those locals who can, please go and savor Granger & Co for me, your out-of-towner Yelp friend.
Be the first to ReplyI was taking a stroll to Hyde Park on a beautiful fall
I was taking a stroll to Hyde Park on a beautiful fall afternoon in London when I came upon Granger & Co, a very inviting dining space in Notting Hill. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table on a weekday afternoon lunch hour. The space is trendy, bright, airy and comfortable. Our server was a very endearing Australian young man who took great care of us in all regards. We all toasted our last day of vacay in London with expertly crafted espresso martinis. There is a very eclectic menu with many different choices; in the end, though, we chose from the "Bill's Classics" section. I got the Sweetcorn Fritters, Roast Tomato, Spinach & Bacon with an avocado upgrade. Everything was fresh and wonderfully delicious, and I simply have never encountered a fritter quite this unique in it's taste. We also had the scrambled eggs and sourdough toast. Sounds simple enough, right? But these eggs were fantastic, they're like whipped, they have a wonderful mouth texture, and the toast was very fresh and hearty. Lastly, we enjoyed the Ricotta Hotcakes, Banana and honeycomb butter. Another unique combination, and a rich, decadent variation on hotcakes that I'd never had before. All in all, a wonderful dining experience, even to include the immaculate restroom facilities. Granger & Co is "highly recommended" for the value, quality and quantity of it's cuisine.

Staff so friendly, great menu selection and decently priced - service was quick, attentive and efficient. The food and avo/vanilla smoothie was delicious, would love to ce back but make sure you go earlier so you can get a table! I think the people of London are realising they have a brunch gem!

Scrambled eggs were worth the wait! Family liked variety of choices and our vegetarian was happy too!

I haven't had anything bad here yet! Aussie breakfast is the way to go in London of course but Granger also does quite possibly the best burger in the city.

Excellent food, creative choices, healthy options for breakfast lunch or dinner. We went there for dinner. My husband chose a spicy chicken burger which was very spicy and I chose 2 hardy appetizers ..... broccolini with peanut sauce and sourdough toast with crab which were flavorful. For dessert I chose a caffe mocha with homemade almond milk and chocolate sauce. The cocktails looked absolutely with botanicals. My only negative is that it is very noisy ....makes it hard to have conversations. Other than that, the food is delicious!
Be the first to ReplyOk, this was the best brunch i had in my life.
We waited on the queue for 30 minutes, absolutely worth every minute. You can check my photos, the scrambled eggs where just perfect and omg the pancakes!!! With banana, caramel, spongy. We decided to have the fungus spaghetti too. I guess everything you eat here is perfect. The service was fast and the place is really nice. I am counting the days when this pandemic is over and I'll be back having brunch here! can't wait. No puedo esperar.
Be the first to ReplyI would highly recommend Granger & Co.
The inside was so quirky but came together nicely to make the perfect brunch location. The food we got here, while simple. was one of my favorite breakfasts during my time in Notting Hill. I ordered eggs and toast (super simple) which came with these incredible breakfast potatoes. The latte was excellent as well. Fair prices, good food, great service. What more could you ask for?

Love love this place! My bestie and I were staying in Notting Hill and we decided to come here for brunch. I thought we would have to wait for a table because this place is popular but luckily, we were seated right away. I ordered the fresh aussie, which has jasmine tea hot smoked salmon, poached eggs, greens, furikake, avocado, and cherry tomatoes. All of the ingredients meshed perfectly well together. I also got some freshly squeezed OJ to go with this meal. I honestly wish my breakfast could be like this every morning lol. Anyway, I highly recommend the fresh aussie if you don't know what to order. Can't wait to be back!
Be the first to ReplyBeing a certified foodie from LA, I'm not the easiest
Being a certified foodie from LA, I'm not the easiest person to please when it comes to brunch. Next to Australians, we're kind of ahead of the game when it comes to the food best served between breakfast and lunch; only, we love eating it at all hours of the day. Every day. This, of course, includes the booze and coffee. It also includes the dreaded queue winding up the road, away from the door. Yes, everyone who eats here has to wait; unless they're incredibly dedicated, and are here when they open. Even then, waiting might occur. The wait times could be anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the size of your party. But, let me just say: Do it! Wait in that queue as long as it takes to feast on all this delicious goodness! As you'll be able to see from the menu displayed outside, tempting you with the promise of what is to come, the food here ranges from the tried-and-true, to the exotic. My friend raved about the Ricotta Hotcakes being among the best she'd ever tasted, and brought me here just for that reason; and honestly... I'm glad she did. More on that later. For most people- myself included- it wouldn't be brunch without booze; namely, cocktails. The drinks menu here is plentiful, and while I'd like to say that I was tempted by one of their fresh and healthy juices, I didn't even realize they offered them until I saw my friend drinking one next to me. Sweets lovers, remember these words: Fig and vanilla old fashioned. Yes, it is on the stronger side, but it is one of the most well-balanced cocktails I've ever had for breakfast. Now, on to those hotcakes. I really don't know what magical ingredient they're putting in there to make these bad boys so decadent and fluffy, but if you were eating a sweet cloud, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two. My friend and I shared one portion, but to be honest, I could have polished off two plates, by myself. It's the most popular thing on the menu for a reason. The rest of the meal was also amazing, and I can vouch for the hearty burger and crispy fries, which remind me of In-N-Out fries from California, as well as the Dhaal which is a fragrant and flavorful lentil soup rich in spices and other healthy ingredients. And because I like to give as detailed report about a place as possible, I even tried their coffee. Yes, that was the bomb-dignity, too. Seriously, you can't go wrong with this menu.Amazing as everything was, though, I will never forget those hotcakes. They really are what foodie dreams are made of.

Came here for brunch because I happened to be around the area!! The staff was so friendly and the food was SO good! Upon arrival, the restaurant looked packed but I was seated quickly! If you're visiting Notting Hill & and want to sit back and relax, come here! It's was all good vibes!!! The menu has many different options, which are all in a good price range! I got the hotcakes & they were AMAZING! My friend got the fried rice (on the lunch menu) & he was just as content! Thanks again, sending love from New York

Poor service, food is a strange and not ever what you expect from the menu. Been here three times and every times giving it another chance and have never left happy.
Be the first to ReplyThe long line went really fast.
Felt like we were back in Southern California at this restaurant- not sure I would call it modern English but it was good. Fresh squeezed OJ, Avocado and roasted tomato on the super fluffy scrambled eggs. The ricotta pancakes super yummy!
Be the first to ReplyPrepare yourself for longer waiting in front of the place
Prepare yourself for longer waiting in front of the place as it is full in the morning. The food is good, nothing special.BUT!!! Due to the high level of interest and the long queue, the staff is running.Running means unpleasant service. They have no time to wait the end of the guests' sentence... therefor they missunderstand the orders, forget some part...To sustain the interest, I suggest to slow down!

Day #2 in Notting Hill- Fresh Aussie (Jasmine tea hot smoked salmon, poached eggs, greens, furikake, avocado, and cherry tomatoes), courgette chips with nigella seeds and tahini yoghurt, with matcha and vanilla ice cream and a coke!

Come on. Is Granger good? Yes. Is it wait in line around the block good? Don't be ridiculous. It's still just eggs and pancakes. The atmosphere is nice if you go exactly when they open (it's chill for about 45 minutes); otherwise, it is unpleasantly crowded and there's a huge line. The food is good-ish but it is emphatically not mind-blowing. This is no knock on the restaurant, they are just doing their thing. Sure, put some avocados on stuff. Great. Somehow this place has taken hold in every Londoners imagination as the only place to have brunch and it is not even the best brunch within a two block radius (Though it may have the best looking space).
