An elegant Chinese tavern in the center
Forget the cheap menu full of street food typical of Roman Chinese restaurants and enter a modern tavern dotted with ancient traditional Chinese objects displayed in an elegant and minimal way. The menu is a riot of flavors and satisfies simple and refined palates. Best spicy soup I've ever eaten in a Chinese restaurant in Rome and street food well above the average of the Chinese restaurants in the Cspitale. It will vary in surprising desserts with different possibilities including ice cream and traditional Chinese desserts. Very kind and attentive staff, certainly a reference for those who love real Chinese cuisine.

I recommend the 3-course Peking duck, prepared as in Beijing. The steamed appetizers are excellent and the service perfect - A very good Chinese restaurant.

Excellent dishes, elegant and relaxing environment, kind and knowledgeable staff, we have been going to this restaurant for many years and nothing has changed
Be the first to ReplyUNDESERVED FAME!!!
POSITION: historic Chinese restaurant that has changed furnishings and mise en place over the years; SERVICE: courteous but cold and detached carried out by non-Asian staff; DISHES: 1 vegetarian menu, spring rolls, rice and sweet and sour pork, all cooked "tourist style" and tasteless!!! the same goes for tea!!! and also the "ecological" cover charge at โฌ3.50 each!!!; BATHROOM: small, uncomfortable and not very clean; QUALITY/PRICE RATIO: โฌ70, exorbitant!!!. Pis & Pas
Be the first to ReplyGood, but I expected more from a Michelin selected restaurant
Let me start by saying that I am not a connoisseur of restaurants with Asian cuisine: the menu is vast and original, but I didn't like everything I ate; the mixed starters were excellent, as was the pork, the soy spaghetti was dry and broken for my taste, the prawn rolls were not very tasty. The desserts are good. The location was beautiful (even if there was a musty smell) and the staff were very kind. Maybe I expected more from a Michelin recommended restaurant!

exceptional place with attention to every detail... fresh food, excellent meat ravioli and super crunchy spring rolls... everything was delicious but the Peking duck served in three courses could not be missing, it was the top of a superlative good!! !! the staff were also very kind!!
Be the first to ReplyHigh altitude Chinese food
Excellent! I should clarify that we went on Dragon New Year and there was a 10-course tasting menu, so we didn't try the usual food. The place, decorated with antique Chinese teapots, has several levels. You don't eat in a single room, but in small rooms. What was tasted was at the level of the star awarded, and in my humble opinion, the food was very tasty and well presented. The service, which was what worried me most, after reading certain trip advisor reviews, was very good. In particular, a young boy stood out, who told us about each of the dishes served, in a very slow and didactic manner.

Good food but terrible service. They let us sit and then after 10 minutes they told us that in 15 minutes we had to eat and they were closing! Really uneducated and we are tourists!
Be the first to ReplyTrue historic Chinese cuisine with high quality ingredients
Let me start by saying that I am an admirer of real Chinese cuisine having worked in Beijing and Shanghai, I had dinner at Green T with a friend. The steamed Chinese ravioli accompanied by sauce made by the chef is excellent, the fried spring rolls are good and light (there is also a non-fried version for those on a diet) with vegetables and tuna, but the "explosive" dish is the lacquered duck Peking style, served in 3 courses, crispy skin, very soft meat with vegetables and mushrooms, soup. Good wine list with correct quality/price ratio. Try the Red Sorghum distillate. Congratulations, I will return.
Be the first to ReplyGreen T: a TOP Chinese restaurant
We tasted the Peking duck, a delight for the palate, expertly cooked with excellent products. The wine list is excellent. For anyone who happens to be in Rome, behind the Pantheon, a must!

It doesn't happen often, in our experience almost never, that we can eat traditional Chinese dishes prepared on the spot. High quality raw materials and wisdom in balance. Welcoming and prepared service. Price more than justified for us. There is no point in making comparisons with the Chinese restaurants we are all used to by now. GOOD
Be the first to ReplyMust try at least once...
I recommend this restaurant for Chinese cuisine prepared with care and passion, I recommend trying the duck served with 3 courses, always better to book as it is quite small
Be the first to ReplyDO NOT ORDER ONLINE
Tonight I made the mistake of ordering dinner online, as proposed on the restaurant website. The food arrived cold an hour and forty minutes late. Ruined dinnerโฆ.!!! The restaurant contacted after an hour of patient waiting to find out if it would ever deliver was uncooperative and uncourteous. A restaurant that promotes itself as high-level gourmet Chinese and charges accordingly must not have these disservices
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best Chinese restaurants in Rome
First experience in this place. We had dinner as a couple and had a great time. Menu with excellent quality products (almost everything is homemade), friendly and highly trained staff, nice location. Green Tea is a valid point of reference for this type of cuisine in Rome.
Be the first to ReplyVery rude, disrespectuf of disabled customers
I came to this place for munch because it has a Michelin guide recommendation, with a seeing impaired friend and his assistance dog. The restaurant was almost empty with only two seting guests . we waited for 10 minutes until anyone showed up. We asked for a table next to the door so that we would nt disturb any future guests. The staff person was extremely rude, refused service even when we explained that we had a assistance dog. In the ยซmeantime an extemeely rude customer who became impatient to wait for us, pushed my friend aside almost making him fall. , the staff as not botherd whatsoever We have been travelling now for 7 weeks across Italy eating out lunch and dinner every day and never had such a bad experience. Horrible Place
