Very disappointed with my last visit.
Brought my mom in for the experience but the grill ended up being messed up and only half of it was hot to cook anything. It took forever for our meats to not even cook evenly. Waitress was well aware that that our stove wasn't working, was nice enough to offer to switch us tables until she found a solution of taking the inside piece of the grill off so that it was just the bare flame. Again, it worked for a bit but it was only a small flame on one side of the grill. There was no point to move tables at that point since we've already eaten most of our meats. For the price that you pay for the meats here, you should be able to enjoy every piece, unlike AYCE kbbq where you just force eat every meat in sight. Imagine eating a soggy piece of beef with no char at all or even having a meat take 5 minutes to even get to medium rare when it's supposed to take 2 minutes or less. The flame was so low that it took the whole visit for our broccoli to cook and by that time our cheese fondue had evaporated. Annoyed at the experience and will not be coming back again. Definitely not fair that we got unlucky with the our grill to ruin the meal especially for the price and not being happy hour.

We come here often, can't beat having fun while you cook and eat. We always just order a ton of random stuff, never the set "meal deals". We get the bibimbap, garlic noodles, pork belly, spicy cucumber, spicy edamame, hanger steak, cheese fondue, wontons, and the kalbi!! Don't judge us. Happy hour is mon & wed all day, you're welcome lol.

Honestly can I just say, I've been going here for years, and it's hilarious for me to see they are closed now. They started out very good. They got money hungry, and lost the whole business. Love to see it.

Las Vegas Gyu-Kaku!!!Today is the last time I ever go to a Gyu-Kaku again. My son had a hair in the miso soup. The restaurant smelled like sewage. After my son found hair un his soup, he started feeling sick so I took him to the bathroom. He immediately threw up all his food after smelling the awful smell in the restroom. I let the host know that someone else besides my son threw up in the bathroom and it smells awful in there. I got an apology for our experience and 10% off. I was so disgusted with this experience. I usually go to the Beverly Hills, Valencia and Fountain Valley location. Sorry, but the pandemic really brought your restaurant below average!! Never again. Stay away from here!!
Be the first to ReplyThis place is good when it wants to be! Other days it sucks.
They also steal your points if you leave your receipt and don't scan it right away. The service use to be so much better but idk what's happening. The steaks have so much fat in them now and it's pretty ridiculous. The chicken an shrimp is very yummy, also the garlic fried rice. I really wonder who takes your points and scans your receipts because this is not the first time it happen and it makes me not even want to go there. I go there quit often with a full table but we plan on finding a new place that's better an just going to the one in California
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favorite bbq places.
Really cute atmosphere and delicious food. Didn't see the lunch menu the last time we were there post covid. So can get pricey.

I've been to this location numerous times and have always enjoyed our meal and time there. Today was a totally different experience unfortunately. We went for my husband's birthday at 1:00 because it's his favorite place. They have changed there menu and portion sizes. Our favorite steak that use to come in a bowl seasoned to perfection is now longer available. We ordered the Harami steak which we always order also and it's was cut differently and very small portion. It use to come as a slab of meat that you cut with scissors they supplied but it's half the size if not less than what we use to get. The flavor was still delicious thank goodness. The salad even was much smaller and served on a different plate than the awesome bowl they use to serve it in that was so easy to mix it up in. The Bibimbap rice was also smaller and had less beef too. It was like we stopped in for appetizers and we left hungry unfortunately which we never did before. Our bill was $65 dollars and we left hungry with 2 orders of Harami steak, large salad and Bibimbap rice. The Harami steak had five pinky size slices and the other one we ordered had five square pieces. We asked why the difference in the cuts even though we ordered the same steak and the waiter said the squares is the new way there cutting the meat. Very small portions. The waiter was great even though the gratuity is atomically added at 18% he earned his tip and is a very hard worker. I hope they can get back to there same menu and size of servings because we love going there and would hate to be disappointed again.

If you want to go for an upscale date night this is definitely the place to hit up. It has a lot better meat than your Korean barbecue places because of the higher quality and because you don't feel rushed like other areas of town. You have plenty of different meat options to choose from but then you also get a lot of appetizers as well so you feel like you're getting a multiple course meal with great aesthetic. We went for the chefs choice for our dinner. And then we added a side of Kobe beef as well. All the meats were super tender and we love the dipping sauces that came with it. I was really sad that I didn't get their specialty rice this time. It's one of my moms favorite to get when we die in here. Unfortunately I can only have the dining experience when I come to Las Vegas. I left the grill because you can get some really crisp grill marks on your meats. And you can enjoy a nice toasty s'more at the end of your meal or get any of their delicious dessert options. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants the experience of cooking your own food at a barbecue place but once a quieter time for a more intimate experience.
