Haidilao Hot Pot London Reviews from The Last Year
For hotpot, go to Haidilao
The taste is very good. My favorite is the spicy oil and beef oil base, which is so fragrant. The dishes are fresh and complete, the base is rich, the service is warm and thoughtful, and I will come back next time
A RESTAURANT worth visiting again and again
A famous restaurant in China!I'm so happy to be able to eat Haidilao in London, with a consistent standard and added British local specialties. The waiters were very sweet and attentive from the moment we entered the door, they patiently introduced the dishes to us, provided aprons, hair bands. The food was delicious, the pork belly chicken soup base and tomato soup base were recommended, and the other meats and vegetables were fresh! It is a restaurant worth recommending to friends or getting together with colleagues after work.
Great foreign hotpot experience
The taste is great. I am really happy to eat the authentic beef oil spicy hot pot in a foreign country. The price is a little expensive, but the dishes are rich and fresh. The waiter's service attitude is very good, which brought me a great dining experience. The milk tea shop upstairs is also great. It seems to have just opened. I strongly recommend the Dahongpao milk tea with cream top. You can buy milk tea alone without eating hot pot.
Best service in Chinatown
I took my family to Haidilao and gave toys to my child. Because it was his birthday, he was also given a fruit plate. The food looked fresh, the condiments were plentiful, and both adults and children enjoyed the meal. I have been eating in this Chinatown area for 5 years, and this restaurant is the best in terms of service.
Love the taste of mala
Food was amazing and service is also great. I am glad the soup base didn’t lose out here in terms of flavour as compared to Singapore. Though a little disappointed that they don’t have the mushroom sides, however the mala peanuts were great. Will totally come again.
Great food and great experience!
We had a wonderful time at Haidilao Hot Pot, the service was brilliant Agnes our sever was lovely and happy to answer any questions we had, she was very attentive on our table making sure to check in on us frequently. The food was delicious and we'll be coming back again soon!
Great service, quality food, order noodles for the show!
Make sure you get a booking as it gets very busy here. After seeing so many videos raving about Haidilao, I knew I wanted to try out some hot pot so we went for lunch and it was DELICIOUS! We had two soup bases, laksa (spicy) and chicken & mushroom (milder). We then went and made our dipping sauces at the condiment and snack bar. We had the marinated beef, chicken and pak choi but would definitely be more adventurous next time as I’d love to try the shrimp paste too. The hand pulled noodles were chewy and tasty especially after watching them being made right next to us. Great show. The service and attention to detail was outstanding, everything was fresh and good quality. Definitely returning soon.
It's in the Experience
This was recommended to me by a Chinese colleague. They told me about the hot pot dining experience and I was intrigued, never having really heard of it before. As it opened really late and we needed something for after a show at the Royal Albert Hall, we opted to book a table here. Our booking was at 23:45 but it seemed to stay open until 3am. We were treated very kindly by the staff. They greeted us and looked after us at our table. We felt very welcomed, which was nice given we felt like we were possibly the only non asians in the restaurant and that was initially a bit daunting. Nevertheless, we embraced it and enjoyed it. We ordered 3 different broths and a mix of meat and veg. The server initially showed us how to create a small soup using the tomato broth and some of the bits from the toppings station, which was very lovely. Largely, though, the broths are a cooking mechanism (just in case anyone not in the know was wondering!). We had fun creating our own dips but we'd probably want to be more adventurous next time. Also, we'd likely try ordering different things to cook on our next visit. Using the utensils was a little tricky but we got the hang of it. We certainly weren't by any means experts at the hot pot but we enjoyed ourselves. It's more about the joy of dining rather than anything else. We did think it was a tad bit expensive for what it was, especially as you did have to cook it yourself, but for a one-off treat type meal, it was fine. We paid around £40 pp. We'd come back but maybe for a special occasion. We'd recommend everyone to try this restaurant. It's worth giving it a go and don't be worried that you won't know what to do because the staff are extremely helpful.
Good Food but a little bit expensive
Food is good and the service is excellent. Just a little bit over priced. Generally speaking, I will come with friends/family visit again but not very often,
good service with Sana
good Sana serivce and its really nice and very clean!the food is really delicious and i love the environment!food serving is really quick!
Amazing food
Haidilao is the best hot pot restaurant in London, they have taken the service levels of their China operation and put them into this branch. Highly recommend!
Excellent
Great place to hang out and enjoy food… Good service as well Nice soup base especially the pepper pork soup!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very Chinese
Just like the Hotpots in China but a lot more expensive. Good range of food and drink with good service. we were even offered an umbrella for the wonderful London weather.
Worth the wait.
We waited over 2 hours before our table was ready but we were a bigger group. Wandered around a bit then sat in playing board games. There’s snacks and water whilst you wait. Once in and seated you’re given an iPad to order. We went from milk to spicy on sauces (oat is good for mildest) we were advised to avoid the spiciest. There’s a dipping sauce mixing station. Instructions to follow fit classic options or make your own. (Orange slices, nachos and apple slices available too) We ordered a selection of meat, fish, mushrooms and veg. Plus tofu and roe dumplings. Everything was outstanding and fresh (black mushrooms are the best) laksa sauce was my favourite with the dumplings. The beef and pork are top quality. Staff helped make the fish balls. Honestly one of the best meals we’ve had. You’d walk past and not realise how great it is from store front as the main resturant is downstairs. Oh, and heated toilet seats. I need these in my life more.
My new favourite place
Fantastic from start to finish. Staff are all super helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. The layout is well thought out, spacious and not crammed. Will definitely go back
best service and washroom in london very clean and nice
best service and washroom in london very clean and nice food is fresh! nice nice nice
I ordered the chicken and mushroom soup base, marinated
I ordered the chicken and mushroom soup base, marinated chicken slices, haidilao styled beef, and fish balls. The food was ok/good, the meat was fatty/chewy. I more so enjoyed the service than the food, wish all restaurants provided service like haidilao. Our servers were super sweet and kind. They accommodated us without a reservation. They always refilled our waters, spooned out the bubbles/fat on top of the soup, and removed the plates we were done with. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with anything you would need (toothpick, mouthwash, hair ties, pads). Their flower wall was cute for picture taking.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
