Be prepared to drop a couple hundred bucks, but this is the freshest tasting sushi in San Diego and they have an incredible bar staff.
Ridiculously overpriced and misleading.
Order a sushi roll and you get two nigiri. $50 for a small sashimi dish. All portions are smaller and prices higher than any sushi I've ever ordered. They would never use shokuhin sampuru displays for fear of consumers knowing how little they

It is the best sushi in all of San Diego Super fresh fish and it is fine right in front of you and these chefs are all artists that make the plates hit you a absolutely a Picasso of artwork, but in sushi it's great.
I really enjoy Hane Sushi.
The food is great and so are the cocktails. It's not very big, but the atmosphere is very vibrant. The last couple of times, I went, I sat at the bar and Jonathan the bartender was attenitive and full of suggestions. Highly recommend.

It's really expensive for the quality of the roll.
The itself wasn't too bad but it didn't taste so fresh for some reason, and it certainly didn't highlight the fish. The service was also extremely slow when the restaurant was around 70% full with us getting our first plate around 45 m
Everything was delicious.
Great quality fish. I highly recommend the salmon and tuna tostados!

The crudo was great.
The Diego roll was yummy. Otori nigiri was great. I'd say the albacore was better than the kampachi. Their green tea is really good.

Delicious sushi rice, fresh fish, friendly chef, the hall is clean The wait staff provides good service and cares about customers.
The sushi rolls are creative and tasty, but quite pricey.
The main attraction for us was the bartender, Johnathon. He made us feel special and gave us great service, but I have found other sushi joints with equal quality sushi and drinks for half the price.
The service is very bad here.
All the waiters and employees look super stressed out-- which is fine, but some of the waiters came off a bit rude. Additionally, the rolls are overpriced for the quality you are getting. There are far better options on Convoy.
rude waitresses.
mid food for so much money. there's way better sushi in san diego. there's a lot of rules for no reason (no apple pay, no large reservations, they check for tips, ginger is $3, etc).
I would not recommend this place.
The food is very overpriced and the service is rude. We got dirty looks constantly. They charged extra for asking for ginger even though they forgot to give wasabi and ginger with our sushi. Not very good sushi either. Overpriced! Our appetizer was $

Many of the wait staff have been there forever. The quality of the fish is great, and fresh. No complaints!
This is an outstanding restaurant.
We loved every minute of our dining experience here. Went with a friend who knew the owner and we sat at the sushi bar. The food is exceptional. It's a must try in my opinion. Thanks to the Hane gang for a great evening!

Fresh and delicious food.
Our female server is from Tokoyo, Japan and has been working at this restaurant for two years. This restaurant was not our initial choice. The other Japanese restaurant with higher rating was so booked that the line is over 90 mins so one of their st
Good is amazing.
The fish is so fresh and delicious. The service is speedy and friendly. Love it's a great little neighborhood spot. They get very busy so it's always a good idea to arrive when they open. Their bar area is first come first serve basis.
Came to visit Take, holy moly.
Take holds no punches, we have a long history and he knows he can throw anything at me and he did. I think the highlight though was the Amberjack nigiri with sesame oil and salt on it. Honestly the most simplest things can really just be amazing.

Fantastic food, highly recommend been there twice and plan on returning again. They are very busy you need to make a reservation especially on the weekends
The sushi was really good but the service was terrible.
It's really sad because had service been better I'd give them more stars. They need to hire more servers, we had to wait just for water forever. I'd go back here to try more of their sushi because that was good......

The sushi quality was on point and I loved the fact that there are lunch specials. I was very excited to see that there was a salmon and spicy tuna bowl for the lunch special because oftentimes I order Chirashi bowls with all the things, but sometime
One of San Diego's best sushi bars.
The crispy rice and very belly/ sashimi- are my go to
The sushi is high quality and good.
The service can be very hit and miss and it is very pricey. I love splurging on sushi and I used to really enjoy Hane but the service has gone downhill. I don't have anything against their chefs or food but the restaurant is small and usually packed
Great food.
Service was slow. For the price point I'd expect both to be great. Himachi is hands down best ever!!
I've been here twice in the last week.
Everything is very fresh and delicious. Roger the owner is fun to interact with if you sit at the counter.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Hane Sushi San Diego at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Hane Sushi San Diego page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation

* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Hane Sushi San Diego!
