High Street will cancel your reservation
Rude and inconsiderate. High Street on the Hudson canceled our reservation at the last minute due to a purported emergency - and somehow still had spots available on OpenTable. We had to scramble to find a replacement reservation, which is not easy in NYC.
Be the first to ReplyGreat for cozy cocktails at the bar
Just popped in here for after-dinner drinks with some good friends. A nice cozy (small and intimate) bar area with a very attentive bartender just made the cocktails even better.
Thereโs lots of drinks on the menu, but each of us had two different cocktails that night that didnโt disappoint. Lots of flavor, not overly crowded with random ingredients, and definitely not watered down at all. Definitely would go there again to try even more of the drink menu.
Skip it.
Limited selection of overpriced wines. Interminable wait for entrees. Stingy portion of salmon. Passable guac. You can do better elsewhere. As in almost anywhere.
Be the first to ReplyAwful food
Soggy chips, no cauliflower in the Brussel spout-cauliflower combo, tasteless Tiny lobster roll. High $
Be the first to ReplyPerfect breakfast on a Saturday morning !
Perfect breakfast on a Saturday morning . Walk in , friendly welcome, great service , a relaxed vibe in the room and simple but perfect food - a pain au chocolat , smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese and a cappuchino.
Importantly , every guest was having fun !
Excellent local joint with good food
I stopped by for brunch and enjoyed a wonderful bread plate - three types of bread baked in house - together with a delicious kale salad. All washed down by a glass of Chardonnay
Friendly staff look after you but donโt rush things along and the background music is from the right time period to enjoy.
Worth dropping by
Cozy Neighborhood Spot
Felt lucky to be able to walk in without a reservation. Pizzas and Pastas were fantastic. Had a server whose name I forget but was a handsome bearded man. Best experience we have had in a while. Definitely coming back!

While High St is known for their brunch and breakfast, they also have an amazing dinner! The pastas and pizzas were amazing! The highlight was the short rib which is delicious.
Service was great; everyone was very friendly. Bravo!
Elevated breakfast sandwiches
Read a lot of reviews about this place but didnโt have any expectations. Surprisingly the breakfast sandwiches were absolutely delicious! The Bodega was so good - the egg was perfectly cooked, the sausage was so tasty and the biscuit was aromatic. The black sesame Koulign Amana was so yummy! The Jersey Girl and the High Street Leo were equally delicious. Definitely will be coming back from a cost perspective I would say it is on the high side. However I would say it is worth it.
Be the first to ReplyTasty and cozy business dinner, but too pricey
If I hadn't been traveling on the company dime, I would rate the restaurant lower.
But as it was, I enjoyed a dinner here with several colleagues. The starters were all delicious (if relatively small servings to be shared between 3+ people). And I enjoyed my steak frites.
The server was pleasant and the atmosphere was cozy as our table was tucked a bit away from the main part of the restaurant.
Excellent brunch!
Prices are a little on the expensive side, but our two savory dishes and the sweet dish we shared were very tasty and filled us up for the most part of the day! We were there fairly early (9.30 on a Sunday morning), and by the time we left, there was a queue, so don't go too late. They don't take brunch reservations.
