True quality, true hospitality, true professionalism.
First time in the restaurant that I have wanted to visit for a long time. There is quality, attention, professionalism. Everything paid at the right price, including the wine. The wine list is worth the trip. It's monumental and at very correct and honest prices (it's not a detail these days!!!). Anyone who loves to drink well cannot miss out on this address! I celebrated my birthday here with my parents. We had a good time, I'm happy that they liked it and I will keep a wonderful memory of this day together.
Strange fame
A place from the past made welcoming and charming by the tablecloths and above all by the staff, starting from the owner Enrico, always present but never intrusive. Much attention to detail and customer needs. Mixed fried food is something sublime: there are absolutely all the pieces of Piedmontese fried food, served with the right pace and with adequate explanation. You leave full but digest everything easily, thanks to the delicacy of the absolutely non-greasy frying. Wine list with a strong focus on the territory. We will be back for the à la carte menu. Superlative
We went for lunch with friends this Sunday to try the much-vaunted mixed fried food. The wait of almost 3 months (we booked in December) will not leave you disappointed.. Mixed fried food becomes king here. Delicate, with an unexpected lightness, so much so that despite the quantity (there are approximately 25 pieces per diner), it is very digestible. The service is impeccable. Attentive without ever being intrusive. Textbook wine list. The bill is certainly high, but it's worth it.
Simply perfect!
Let me start by saying that I don't like giving 5 stars, because it's difficult for everything to be perfect, and that I always read 5-star reviews with great suspicion for the same reason, but here it's really impossible to give less than 5 stars! There was no flaw, even if you wanted to look for it. Elegant place without being excessive, discreet and unobtrusive background music. Kind and attentive staff, checking the glasses one by one before placing them on the table to check that they have no stains or chips; topping up with water and wine without being intrusive; kind and professional but also friendly and smiling waiters; owner who stops by several times to ask if everything is okay, also inclined to have a nice and friendly chat (and compliments on the lady's clothing!). Let's talk about the food: self-produced bread, focaccia and breadsticks that are worth the trip, too bad we didn't finish them! And then his majesty the mixed fried food. They are famous (also) for this and it is a completely deserved fame. Seven courses with around 25/30 different pieces, all fried on the spot, breaded with the aforementioned breadsticks, light, fragrant, hot at the right point... and elegant and refined on the plate. I could go on forever, but I think the concept is clear. Maybe not for all budgets, but it's worth all the money you spend, because it's difficult to find fried foods like this and you pay for the quality. Experience to try and repeat. Well done!
Mixed fried food in a gourmet version
A very pleasant and out of the ordinary experience. The restaurant ennobles the traditional Piedmontese mixed fry in a new version characterized by refinement, very high quality and variety of raw materials and great skill in preparation. Impeccable service and an elegant, refined and welcoming environment.
Absolutely worth the trip!
It is a place of our heart and we believe that it is absolutely worth the trip to taste the cuisine of Mrs. Cordero, wife of Enrico, the owner of the restaurant. For us, the star attributed by Michelin to this restaurant is well deserved, which among many things also boasts an extraordinarily rich cellar. This time the occasion was that of their legendary mixed fry, a journey inside the animal starting from the "batsua" to get to the brain, passing through rich, light, very tasty dishes. About 90 euros absolutely well spent to add the cost of any high-end wine you can think of asking for...
Exceptional
First time for the classic Piedmontese mixed fried food, the pearl of this restaurant!!! Beautiful presentation of the dishes (detailed by the owner with grace and kindness), perfect service from the guys in the room, never intrusive but always present!! Stratospheric variety of dishes with all the varieties of foods present with a small bowl halfway through dinner to unplug from the various joints (impeccable)! And finally fried fruit!!! All perfect ! Well done, very good! thank you with all my heart ! Until next time !
A dinner that is a treat for the palate
The Center is an institution, the "once upon a time" restaurant in terms of location but at the forefront of cuisine. Impeccably set tables, impeccable service. The very kind owner (the husband of the starred Chef Elide) stopped at our table very welcome. Exciting dishes. Noteworthy wine list.
A WONDERFUL DAY
What can we say about this place, its history and fame precede it. The room inside is furnished with a mix of vintage furniture and some contemporary pieces, which do not clash. The staff, made up of young and highly trained staff, makes you feel pampered. The cuisine of the highest level. The food was excellent, we went for the FRITTO MISTO ALLA PIEDMONTESE. But he is the one who makes the difference... the owner, a person from another era who loves his job and his guests, to make you feel like you belong to a big family. THE WINE LIST IS EXCELLENT.

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
