Awesome food
Wow ! Went to dinner tonight with my husband and 17 yo daughter. The restaurant is well run. Service was excellent. The atmosphere in the deck was warm and inviting. We were comfortable with the heaters on the deck. People Inside and out were clearly enjoying their time. There were families with small kids, teens and groups sunbirds. Couples as well. Itโs an inclusive space. We shared the meatballs (yum and the sauce was amazing!). I had the risotto and it was simply incredible. My husband had the chicken Marsala and my daughter the pasta bolognese. Tiramisu for desert. Pinot noir with our meal. We were all completely satisfied and would recommend this to anyone.

I had a great time, setting is nice. Jada was just perfect. We had appetizers, main course. Really nice setting. Service fast. Wine selection good.
Be the first to ReplyVery underwhelmed
We went here for my husband's 60th birthday and were very underwhelmed. The food was just okay, and the tiramisu was completely inedible. Never, ever have not finished a tiramisu but it was awful. You'll see I write reviews all over the world and rarely write anything negative but this was disappointing.

Be the first to ReplyAfternoon quick bite.
Stopped in for a drink and snack, outside seating very nice. Great service. Reasonably priced. Menu has good variety. Good wine list. Looking forward to having dinner there.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible service
We called in advance for reservation for birthday. We were told walk in is fine. We walked in and we were asked to wait for 1-1.5. After waiting that long they said still canโt take us, wait another 45 minutes, which means we would be the last people before closing if they even take us. Very poor customer service and disrespectful. I would not recommend

On this occasion we decided to go here for a nice meal with the in-laws. We were all quite impressed with the quality of the service but also the quality of the food. This has a nice outdoor patio on El Paseo. It can be a bit busy but good for people watching too.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing dining experience
Was really looking forward to this restaurant but had a disappointing experience here. Waited over 20 minutes for server to come to table despite multiple requests for one. The food was ok. I had linguine and clams. It had a lot of clams but the dish was super oily and salty. The wine list was ok. My guests said their dishes were just ok also. Not a great experience.
Be the first to ReplyAuthentic, fresh Italian cooking! Perfetto ๐
Fresh, excellent authentic Italian food. Had 2 meals during our stay in PS and they didnโt disappoint!! Food & drinks amazing, service also top notch!! Highly recommend and make sure to reserve as they are very busy.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location and good food
We mistakenly came to this location when the reservation was made for another location and they were gracious enough to seat us. Short staffed (not their fault) they did their best to deal with the crowds. We were relaxed and enjoyed our dinners very much. People were friendly and food was very good. Would go again.

Cool bar and had some good drinks. Bar tenders were very good an polite. We would go back again but it is not the least expensive place around El Paseo.
Be the first to ReplyImpressed
We had a table of nine of us celebrating a 91st birthday for the father-in-law. Our drinks took a long time ( twenty minutes) to arrive, but I cracked that up to the valley being soooooo busy with the tennis tournament being on that week ( we were lucky to even find a restaurant in town that could accommodate our group.....we had tried at least ten places!!!).
After the slow service on our drinks, things picked up very well and we received great service for the remainder of the night. The food here is VERY good.
An Evening by Cecilia at Il Creco
Outstanding service and very good food. While not having a booking for the very busy restaurant, Cecilia, the lady at the bar found a table for us. Her excellent service made the evening at Il Creco unforgettable!

What a joke. They do not use any electronic means for reservations so you have to call to make reservations.
I called 36 hours before dining to make a reservation. No one answered so I left a message---no return call
Called the afternoon , no answer so I left a detailed message describing the reservation I am making for the evening.
Got to the restaurant, they did not have my reservation. They had not checked their phone messages in 36 hours. So there I was 90 minutes before a live performance and no place to go.
Disaster of a place do not waste your time.
Going Downhill
Weโve dined here a number of times and weโre usually pleased with the experience. This time was different. My wife ordered lasagna that tasted like something you buy in a store and heat up. I had Linguini and Clams โฆ it was absolutely tasteless and when I was done there was a lot of water in the bottom of the bowl. Service was good and the wine list was great but the food โฆyuck!!! We wonโt be back โฆ for the prices they charge we expect better.

Grateful for being allowed to dine leisurely on a busy a busy Saturday night with friends not seen in 8 years. Breadband garlic dipping oil good. Cocktails too. Caesar salad, caprese and beet salads all good. Never offered fresh cracked pepper. Veal chop for one of us, two seafood pasta dishes and bolognese pasta. All well made. House made tiramisu and a lemoncello dessert also well done.
Be the first to ReplyAn amazing lunch
Stopped by on a whim while hungry from shopping. Sat inside in an elegant booth. I ordered the cod with caper butter and julienned vegetables. The fish was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were a perfect aldente, and the butter caper sauce was a light perfect balance.

My lasagna had the taste and mouth feel of something out of a can, but for $24.
The waitress, without asking us, allowed a 4-top to add a 5th chair. That put my face two feet from another patron's face.
A happy choice
Did lunch here. Salads were great. House daub blanc was nice. Staff friendly. Not our first choice but mall restaurants full. Iโm glad we ended up here. Dining room open and bright but sidewalk seating also available.
Be the first to ReplyModern Italian Restaurant
I liked the contemporary modern look of this restaurant in El Paseo very much. The food was very good (I had the salmon) and my partner the linguine alle vongole. Good wine list and friendly service, although the wait between when we sat down and our order was taken and in between courses was a bit long
Be the first to ReplyRubbery Pollo Pailard
We have eaten here many times and typically have thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Today, however was a very different experience. We both ordered the Pollo Pailard for lunch, and needed to ask for a steak knife to cut through it. Even then it was very hard to cut through. On the plus side, we told our waiter and the restaurant did comp us one entree; that helped a bit but did not restore the ambience of this restaurant in our eyes. I think it is forever ruined for us.
I have never eaten a chicken breast that was that tough and suggest the restaurant look into who they buy their chicken from.
Decent
Service was great. However, I ordered the linguini with clams. Unfortunately it was almost inedible from over salting. Pasta with fish, especially clams or mussels should not be so disgustingly salty. I presume someone wasn't paying attention or doesn't care. Palm Desert is a tourist destination and therefore many restaurants can get away with this level of mediocrity. Probably won't be back, as the cooking appears to be untrustworthy and unsupervised. Too bad. Cute restaurant. But it wouldn't survive a week in Italy.
