Solid neighborhood join
Reading a lot of hype lately about Indigo. Did take out there a couple of times over the years and found it’s been good, not great, but good. But it’s been a while, so wanted to check back in with @delightbycaro
In a nice corner location, it has a small but strong menu. Some interesting alternatives (spinach nan), and good basic meals. I had the chicken masala and chickpeas with rice and spinach. Look, not sure it deserves the hype of one of the top and all the Michelin reviews, but it’s a solid neighborhood place.
Excellent Hospitality and Great Taste makes Indigo Special
Winter chilling night in January ,Me & my friends were attending a conference and would make it a point to go to this desi restaurant in pardes with a global ambience . People of different nationalities were flocking to this restaurant .The owners Mr & Mrs were so humble and made us feel at home .The roti, the saag ,the chicken & mutton kadai and the cutting chai were lip smacking .I would recommend anyone to visit this restaurant and feel at home and enjoy
Be the first to ReplyBest casual Indian food in DC!
Indigo is our favorite place in DC for Indian takeout. The patio is also awesome in the summer. Definitely recommend the Butter Chicken and the Garlic Roti. Make sure you stick around to watch the Bollywood music videos playing on repeat inside the restaurant. Awesome local spot!

We found this place as it was near the neighborhood in which we were staying. It may not look like much but it was of the best meals we had while in DC. We pretty much got a bit of everything and it was all delicious. I also think it’s fairly priced, in contrast to other reviews.

Nice casual Indian food restaurant . Authentic Indian taste - biryani , daal and vegetables taste good. Good options available in non vegetarian also. The place can be crowded during lunch time. Overall a good experience.

The food is authentic, spicy, and ultimately tasty. They don't skimp on their serving sizes, and the casual outdoor seating is wonderful.

This place packs a punch, fab food and fab vibe. It was a lovely spring evening in Washington DC, which means 85°F, and it was so lovely to sit outside on the bench seating, no rush, enjoying a great meal and a bottle of beer. I’ll be back!
Be the first to ReplyAlright, but overpriced
The food is ok, but doesn't live up to it's pricetag. There's much better indian restaurants in the neighborhood with a cheaper pricetag and table service to boot. However, the vibe in the restaurant itself is very community-driven and lovely.

We enjoyed the Indian food and the casual atmosphere. This is a neighborhood spot with limited seating inside and more outside. You walk up to the counter and order. We would go back.
