BEST RESTAURANT OUT THERE
I do not live in Aspen and I will say this is my absolute favorite sushi restaurant I have been to. The owner, Frank, is always helping the environment and makes dinner so fun! The food is to die for and my family comes here at least twice every time we are in Aspen.
Be the first to ReplyFavorite resto in Aspen for many reasons.
Favorite restaurant in Aspen. We come once a year, always in January and will eat at Jing at least twice. The food is clever and fantastic. Frank the owner/chef is fun and gracious. In particular, the duck is out of this world.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Lunch Spot
Stopped in for lunch had a great seafood soup, mushroom dumplings, a sushi roll and tuna crispy rice. Food and service were great!
Be the first to ReplyTerrible Experience
Mediocre food, and terrible service. Our food was thrown on the table and whisked away so fast and the next course was the same and so on. We had a reservation at 7 p.m. and were done by 8 p.m. Not the fine dining I had the last time I was there last summer. We complained to our server who was blase, uncaring and annoyed. No one came by in upper management either. We will not be back.

BE AWARE! I booked on OpenTable . I called Jing 48 hours in to cancel . I personally asked the host at Jing if I needed to contact OpenTable.NO! ……4 days later I was charged with a cancellation fee of $400. Erica from Jing called me back after I called 3 times saying “yes she gave approval to charge me “ $400!!! Get real JING ! Thank God for capital one credit card company. Come to find out they put it in a reoccurring charge for months . SCAM! Be aware !

This used to be a Chinese restaurant that was purchased Jing associated with the location in Denver. We sat at the front window table in the bar section and loved it. Service was great. Food was great.
Be the first to ReplyDelightful
I am speechless about your restaurant. My husband and I travel all over the world and meet amazing people and eat amazing food. Viviana and Audrey were a delight. An absolute delight. Kind, sweet, efficient, helpful, energetic and knowledgeable. The sushi was phenomenal, the atmosphere was perfection. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Aspen… the same place we celebrated our honeymoon and we could not have been more happy. THANK YOU for the blessing of those 2 staff members and your exquisite cuisine. ♥️

What’s so difficult about this review is that the food is actually very good and the service very competent, deserving a good review. What bothered my wife and I the most is sitting inside, the tables are all jammed together, unsafe and uncomfortable. Four top tables are shoved side to side, so if your party of four arrives for dinner inside, get ready to be seated immediately adjacent to another four top , creating a table of eight. While remarkably socially awkward and uncomfortable, it’s just downright unsafe in this Covid spiking environment. The tables are so tight, arriving guests and servers can barely squeeze between them. Then there’s the gentleman who’s the owner or the manager, cruising around like some hipster with a Jing hat with a vulgarity below the restaurant name, and a big “LV” Louis Vuitton shirt, acting like Mr. Party guy. The restaurant had electronic dance music playing…loud! With “millionaire margaritas” on the menu, in a town full of millionaires, it feels like this place is completely inappropriate and out of context in Aspen. Maybe all of this works in Las Vegas where they have another location, but it’s lost on us and we won’t be back.
Be the first to ReplyBest restaurant in town!
This is one of my fave restaurants in town! It has a great vibe to it! The service was amazing, my friend was gluten free and they told us some great gluten free options! The server suggest lots of great food! There was nothing I didn’t absolutely love! My favorite sushi roll would be the Colorado roll. We even got to meet the owner! He was very welcoming and came to check if everything was ok twice! Though the price is a bit high what do you expect? It’s Aspen, Aspen is expensive! But the food was worth it! This is a must try restaurant!
Be the first to ReplyDon’t go here
They lie! Reservation booked over a month ago, party of 8 for 6pm. Got there and was told “someone” changed reservation to a party of 11 for 8pm. Couldn’t tell who changed it or dive a phone number. Don’t book this restaurant. They don’t honor reservations. Person answering phone then hung up on me after he told me a different story.

The Food here was amazing from start to finish! There was not a dish we did not enjoy. Must order the duck in advance when u make your reservation. Would highly recommend. Must make a reservation in advance!
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced uninspiring food
We were a group of six. The proprietor asked in a tight tone if we were ready to order. He was much friendlier to a group of young girls out on the town at the next table. Yellowtail sushi was decent. The $150 bottle of sake was boring. The dumplings were decent. The friendly water server kept wiping her runny nose with her hand. Not going back.
Be the first to ReplyFood good but was injured
I would never make a review like this unless I felt like the business did not care. I’ll start with the food-it was really good! The problem was that I had a mask on when walking to my table outside. I looked to the right to see what the seating situation was inside. I thought the area was a walkway, but it was not. My mask somehow had risen to halfway up my eyes. I am not sure what happened next, but I think I kicked a wooden small wall and fell into the inside of the restaurant. At first, I was just embarrassed but soon my shin was bleeding and quickly I had a really bad swelling. My waiter did give me 2 bandaids and an ice pack. I had to go to the RR to wash all the blood off. When I returned to my table and kept my leg elevated my waiter asked me if I was okay. The problem I have is “where was the manager?” I had a fairly serious injury. I had to cancel my plans for the day to ice my shin. No one other than the waiter asked if I was okay and this is after a $32 sushi roll plus tip. I’m from Texas and have been a server. What the heck? Unfortunately, I will not recommend this place to anyone. I’ve included what I fell over and my injury.

High expectations for this place as everyone raved about it. Food was unique and good but I wouldn't say out of this world amazing - and the prices were rather high. I would have expected it to be absolutely outstanding. Service was awesome - and speed too.
Be the first to ReplyGREAT food & 5 Star Service
Amazing food and service! Pricey, but we are in Aspen so should be expected. We had sushi, hot rock Kobe beef, Thai basil chicken and lava dessert as well as some fantastic wine. If you want to go BIG - this is a great place. Service was 5 star and the overall experience is great. Reservations are a must and this place does not disappoint. We come here every year (ski competitions) and the splurge is 100% worth it.
