Savoring Culinary Excellence: A Delectable Journey Through Joel Robuchon
My dining experience at Joel Robuchon was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was simply outstanding, with each dish showcasing the chef's creativity and expertise. I especially loved the bread and desserts, which were incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight to the senses. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, patiently explaining each dish and offering recommendations. Their passion for food and dedication to providing exceptional service truly shone through. It's no surprise that Joel Robuchon has earned three Michelin stars – the quality of the food and service speaks for itself. I can't wait to return and indulge in another unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Truly world class food, service, atmosphere and amazing
Truly world class food, service, atmosphere and amazing ambiance. An evening to remember from all aspects. Highly recommend for any special or important events
I must say, my experience was absolutely fantastic.
Whether it was the quality of the ingredients themselves or the overall presentation, everything was truly exceptional.
The emperor has no clothes
Food was not good, i couldn't even eat some of it, plus the restaurant is looking a bit worn with the faded dusty greenery, our bill for 2 with tip was $720 and we felt taken. We felt weird about admitting the food was not good but we have eaten all over the world, so we do have some experience
Nearly speechless about this experience.
..so I'll end the review with that! But really, I never imagined actually eating here. I'm not the most motivated to venture into high priced restaurants. Having been to Paris, France multiple times with tons of authentic French cuisine, I still would stick to what I know. So the thoughts of foie gras and duck weren't that appealing. But I really put all my trust in Joel Robuchon. I was most enticed by the idea of trying his pastry as I am deeply passionate about patisserie and all French sweets. But I also thought that if anyone can make French cuisine taste good it'll be at Joel Robuchon. It started out right with seeing the diamond award. The bar area was quiet and inviting. I loved my cocktail, it was a Paris Cosmo and I spent a lot of time trying to find out what the blue garnish flower was that they put into it. It ended up being a blue corn flower and it was gorgeous. I think the menus are very fair. You can get a set that it really simple or go for the 10 course meal. The bread basket was just stunning. I could make a meal of that alone and had to use all my self control not to just keep eating bread. But the amuse-bouche was a cauliflower puree with caviar and broccoli. I don't eat caviar pretty much ever but it was just so light and not oceany at all. Very good. I enjoyed my chestnut veloute and cheese mousse as well as my poached egg. The Australian wagyu was good, a tiny bit chewy but the taste was great. Of course the classic signature mashed potatoes were really smooth and flavorful. But the piece de resistance was the dessert cart. Over 30 different varieties of French sweets everything from: tarts, gelee, guimauve, macaron, eclair, baba, chocolate bonbon, and so on and so on! I was full and had 2 desserts already but I completely could have had at least 1 of each from the cart but settled for maybe 10 different desserts. This was for my birthday and it was an incredible experience! Of course the servers are super elegant and have an authentic French vibe. Would completely return for another visit.
Visited vegas in December for our wedding anniversary and
Visited vegas in December for our wedding anniversary and as we've made it a thing to do Michelin star restaurants for our anniversary every year, Joel Robuchon (the only vegas restaurant to ever receive 3stars) obviously became a must. Made reservations well ahead of time. The ambiance is true fine dining, elegant and no loud background noise. We were seated in the garden/patio-ish area that's pretty much isolated from the large dining tables in the main dining area. It was intimate and private and we loved it. There were other couples in that section too. Although the tasting menu is seasonal, they did have a couple of their signature plates there like the Le Caviar Imperial which is always the very first plate served. We didnt realize how full we were getting towards the end that i thought i was not going to be able to complete the whole tasting menu. The missing one star is for the several 3-5 dishes back to back with shaved truffle incorporated in them that the flavors started to mix it was so hard to remember what the previous dish was. Quality of the food surreal but just lacked that creativity i was rooting for. Overall though this was one for the books! I would still recommend it. Again the menu is seasonal and you might have a mind blowing experience.
We've always wanted to try this restaurant, and a birthday
We've always wanted to try this restaurant, and a birthday seemed like a great opportunity to do so! Make your reservation (easy to do on their website) well in advance, as they fill up quickly! We arrived early and were seated in their luxurious lounge area and enjoyed two cocktails while the table was prepared. The Cosmo de Paris cocktail was delicious. Ice cold - perfectly balanced - and just amazing. This set the theme for the remainder of the evening. We were seated in a small side room which made you feel like you were in a small garden. There was no one at the adjacent table, but if someone was seated there I could see it being a bit crowded and not too private. There are two menu options. You can chose a 10 course tasting menu; however, you get no choices with this option (each course has only one choice). There are other options with differing numbers of courses, and with these options you have many items to chose from for each course. We each chose a six course option (amuse bouche, two appetizers, one entree, one dessert, and miniature sweet cart). Some options do have an additional supplemental cost - mostly options containing caviar. The amuse bouche was an amazing cold cauliflower soup with crunchy broccoli and crispy rice paper. Then came the bread cart. WOW! There were literally about 15 different types of bread which they bake fresh daily. Your choices will be warmed and presented to you along with shaved butter and olive oil which is presented beautifully from a separate cart. More bread is available throughout your meal, and subsequent bread is served from a small tray rather than wheeling the cart over again. I chose the beetroot salad and the lobster as appetizers. Both were amazing. The beetroot salad was so refreshing, and I wasn't sure how I would like the accompanying mustard sorbet. It was amazing as well! If they can make mustard sorbet delicious, they are true experts. The lobster was served as thin slices of lobster between thin slices of Japanese radish topped with black truffle. I have never liked truffle, but these lacked the pungent earthy taste I have had before. They were so mild! Overall another amazing dish! For an entree I had the sea bass. It's a small portion, but it had such an amazing taste! Perfectly prepared, and the lemon grass foam was truly stunning. Entrees are served with their signature mashed potato which has to be one of the best mashed potato I've ever had. Perfectly creamy and delicious. Save room for dessert!! I had the chocolate souffle ($10 additional) which blew me away. It was like a moist, rich chocolate meringue inside with a perfectly slightly crunchy, chewy shell. Then, after dessert, enjoy the cart of "sweets" featuring petit fours miniature dessert options. There must have been at least 20 different options to choose from including macarons and so, so much more. Service was very attentive if not the warmest, and the entire meal lasted about two hours. This was probably among the best meals I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying, and you leave feeling quite satisfied despite the smaller portions. I recommend reviewing their current menu ahead of time, as if you are a picky eater it is possible that you might struggle to find something you will like given their unique and often esoteric dishes. I cannot recommend Joel Robuchon enough!
Double date splurge time.
Came here because the hubby really wanted to check out a Michelin star restaurant in Vegas. We've gone to others before but it's been some time. The decor of Robuchon is accordingly decadent and a feast for the eyes. Service by the host/hostess was great with accommodating coat check and a bar area where you can sip a cocktail while waiting for your table to be ready. We did not go balls to the wall for the degustation menu this time - maybe another time - but I had the menu prix fixe with 2 entrees. Overall, I found the appetizers to be the strongest and most creative contenders. The entrees were good, but not mind-blowing (admittedly, I did not order a seafood or vegetarian entree, so YMMV). I did enjoy the venison for its extremely dark and hearty flavor, although the rest of my group didn't care too much for it when they sampled. Shoutout though to the bread and dessert carts, those were so delicious and fun. We found the weak point to be the service. Nobody was rude or obviously negligent - but if you have Michelin stars I am going to be rating you at a benchmark that is suitable for the number of stars you have. There were times when we made requests for things and we had to ask twice. There was no urgency to cater to diners' requests nor was there 'proactivity' in terms of service. Was there one major situation that they fumbled? No - but it was more of an additive effect of just the wait staff not being 100% attentive that made it feel like something was amiss. Again, if this wasn't Joel Robuchon and I wasn't being charged upwards of $200 for my meal, I would've easily given the place 5 stars. This is just based on what one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I'm down to try this again, for a very special occasion.
Chef Villanueva true to Robuchon tradition
Wonderful four hour gastronomic adventure. Not for everyone. 13 three star Michelin places in the entire US. (My fourth). New head chef keeps the quality in tact. Excellent warm service. Thoughful dishes, small and interesting. Not a place for a big cut of meat Bread and dessert carts are outstanding, as is the butter and olive oil service. This is an experience, not a meal. Food is personal. Bon Appétit!
Yes!!! The tasting menu is the best decision we made! My
Yes!!! The tasting menu is the best decision we made! My husband got the wine pairing and it was to die for!! The wait staff was fantastic! The restaurant was very quiet and easy to hold conversation with your table. We will definitely go back! Also ... can I get a dozen more scallops?!?!?!
It was here that I fell in love with foie gras.
Then california made it illegal. Then it became legal again, I think. The quality of the food goes without saying, it has three tire company stars, or had them once, technically. And the decor is beautiful and classy. But it isn't a great place for a date since everyone seems to whisper. It feels out of place in vegas, where people like to be showy when spending money.
Not so great.
My second visit here, first time was better back in 2018. It’s gone down hill and was kinda disappointing in fact. You can do better for your money.
Six months ago I had visited this French restaurant tucked
Six months ago I had visited this French restaurant tucked away in a back corner of the MGM Casino. I was pleasantly pleased by the ambiance as you first entered, elegant and small almost feeling like a private dining room made for a group of close friends. What follows next is the pleasant and attentive staff, willing to answer questions, keeping water glasses filled, a Sommelier who suggests the perfect pairing for each course, and a handful of waiters ready to address needs while you are dining. One of the delightful experiences this time was enjoying a cauliflower mousse as the first course. Chilled and velvety smooth, with a droplet of caviar, it was a delicious starter. The Chestnut soup was light and flavorful with a sweet onion foam on top. The Iberico was tender and topped with herbs and a hint of tasty sauce. But the biggest surprise was the truffle spaghetti! Who knew? This restaurant was well worth a second visit and will definitely be on my list to entertain friends in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful dining experience.
Joel Robuchon is one of my favorite restaurants in the US.
I find all the courses outstanding, especially his signature mashed potatoes. It's really amazing how such a simple dish can be elevated to the levels at which they're prepared here. This is one of the rare instances where I found almost each dish equally remarkable, so I'd just point to the photos on this one and say you have to go. On a side note, the dessert is pretty cute, but more about the aesthetics to me than the actual flavor. That's not to say that it wasn't good; it definitely was, but I'm just stating what I mostly got out of it. Also quite noteworthy is the presentation of each dish here. You'll be served some of the most beautiful meals you'll ever see, and that's just something that really stood out to me as well. The service is on-point, as you'd expect of a Joel Robuchon. The dining room here is pretty intimate. Comfortable chairs, good chair to table ratios, not noisy at all. I fly to Vegas just to eat here. I friggin love Joel Robuchon.
Amazing dinner!
The best in Vegas our favorite in the world! This might be our 20th time eating here. The consistency is thrilling the service impeccable
A TOTAL SCAM
I am not usually one to write a bad review, but I felt like it was my duty to do so in this situation, with hopes that it'll help someone out there not waste their time or money here. This place is nowhere near the quality and service of a 3-Michelin star restaurant, or any Michelin stars, at that. (I looked up when it received its Michelin stars, and it was 2009. A lot of its other awards were also before 2010. Perhaps the quality was different when Robuchon was alive?) Anyhow, I would not consider the quality of the food and service as fine dining, and I think the worst part about it is how much you pay for it. It is a complete scam. Our server, from beginning to end, made several mistakes - starting with saying "Happy Anniversary" (it was my husband's birthday - but maybe the server was confused since the menu said "joyeux anniversaire"? But did he not know what that meant? I mean, I didn't know what that meant, but it did say "happy birthday" right above it.) I also repeated several times that I had a nut allergy and to let me know if there were items I couldn't have, but he proceeded to recommend items that clearly had nuts anyway. He also would forget what we ordered, then come back to check - only to give my husband an incorrect order anyway, after repeating it to him. Then another server took over and didn't help the situation at all by attempting to justify the other server - "he can't see, and won't wear glasses, and he refuses to write things down." Um, ok? And then the quality of the food itself...some of it was disgusting, and some of it was... just something that would have been passed on a tray at a bad work event. They try to make it look fancy with their presentation, they bring out the bread cart, the dessert cart, whatever... but ultimately, all of the food is pretty meh. And also, the ambiance itself isn't upscale at all. It's pretty tacky, like maybe it was the early 00's. We were seated in what felt like it was supposed to give the feeling of outside? But you're not outside? With fake plants surrounding you? It's very weird. The entire vibe of the place felt really uncomfortable, and I joked that someone must have been murdered there and the ghost was haunting the space. And all of this would have been fine and forgivable if it was some cheap chain restaurant known for low-quality food, but I think the worst part about this place is the fact that they're trying to come off as this fine dining experience that charges an insane amount. After being scammed I googled to find out more, and I found an old YouTube video of the people who run the place saying "you're paying for the memory." I wish I had seen this video beforehand, because what a red flag - if you have to say that, it means your food sucks. And it did. Please don't go here. IT'S A SCAM. And as someone who has eaten at multiple Michelin-star places as well as multiple sketchy places, this is the worst restaurant meal I've ever had in my life.
Not what it was, and even comps poorly to other locations
Over the last 20y this is the 3rd and most disappointing time that I have been here. The hardware, and location in the MGM grand is the same, and fine, but the smallest details, which Joel Robouchon, was insistent upon are now dead. The bread trolley selection, as amazing as ever, but it tasted stale, the bread not warmed up enough, so it was cold in the middle, when served, the 2nd round of bread, served cold. I wanted the guinea fowl dish, but was told of 2.5 hour preparation!, so why not make that warning, that a pre-order is required? Given the fact that I have had this dish prepared in under an hour at other Robuchon locations, makes me dubious, on the words of the waiter. The peaches in the sphere dessert, not quite ripe, and the details issues continue. It was my birthday, so points for a mango sorbet, meringue surprise cake, but to get just a slice, when the a hole cake was presented was a bit strange, and to give something that really couldnt be taken home, was too quickly served, straight from the freezer. For the price, you expect perfection, and this restaurant and staff are far too complacent, living on past glories. So looks like Guy Savoy and truffle and artichoke soup, next time.
Worth it for the butter alone!
Incredible food and incredible service. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Apologies for the prose, but a sea of tranquility in the hustle and bustle of Las Behas

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
