A FOUR HOUR DINING EXTRAVAGANZA!
What an experience! While we knew it was ranked #41 in the world, little did we know what an amazing experience it would be. We've eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world. 11 Madison Park, Alinea, Kei in Paris, Guy Savoy, etc. This 16 course extravaganza is right there. From the minute you arrive and sit down at 1 of 10 tables, do you realize what a treat it is to eat there. All of the ingredients come from the island of Bornholm. They are fresh and distinct. The flavors of the various dishes are one for the taste buds to devour. In terms of service, there were two of us. So each dish was presented by at least two servers, and the same for picking up our plates when we finished. They thoroughly explained each dish, and the combinations of ingredients. We asked how many chefs. There were 15 for 10 tables. Not only that, but the open kitchen allows you to view the magic as it happens! Two criticisms 1) Local patrons in blue jeans & tennis shoes. Too casual for our liking. (perhaps my issue rather than an overall negative). But, definitely no coat or tie required ! 2) I thought the wine prices were exorbitant. Being a wine collector, I know what they cost, and they are trying to mark it up 4-5 times the cost - rather than the normal 3x. It is expensive - but worth every penny.
WOW! Superb from start to finish!
Absolutely loved eating at Kadeau Copenhagen. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left, we were immersed in the restaurant. We were greeted by the entire kitchen staff when we arrived. Every course was explained to us as we went on a wonderful food journey. And what a journey it was! We had the Preservation Season menu - 8 courses which started with razor clams and finished with a walnut pie! Every course was heaven in your mouth. We rolled out of the restaurant 3 hours later absolutely stuffed and very happy! Highly recommend this experience, if you're in the area!!
Memorable.
We wanted some “real” Scandinavian food. Kadeau delivered. Lovely people. Laid back intimate place. All of the ingredients stunning and some dishes truly memorable. One or 2 dishes a little challenging. It was what we wanted… so not a complaint. I’d love to know what the summer menu features.
World class!
The best meal of my life. I have eaten at many guide michelin restaurants around the world and restaurants at the top of the worlds 50 best, this beats them all in my opinion. To begin with what a wonderfully calming zen like setting, I felt so relaxed throughout the meal. The food was fantastic through and through, all the dishes were so well balanced, tasty and fresh. They also have a completely unique taste profile/ID that I haven't experienced anywhere else. I just wanted more! I actually gave 8 out of 16 dishes a 10 out of 10 (and then I tend to be sparing with 10s). What stars you are at Kadeau 🌟❤️
Massively over rated and over priced.
The restaurant is elegant and the service was suoperb. The food was over complicated and virtually every dish was swimming in butter, or cream or both. Every dish has some form of dairy - cream, cheese or butter. The key ingredients were often buried by over complex and elaborate side ingredients that dominated the flavors. Also, the price was $520 and not anywhere close to $350. Would NOT recommend or return
Out of this world!
OH MY WORD, what an experience. We have been lucky enough to eat in some of the best restaurants in Europe and beyond and I have to say this really tops the list. There are no words for me to say that will do this place justice. We had the most incredible food and the service was absolutely second to non. We always expect a certain level when we visit Michelin star accredited establishments, but this went beyond. The staff were so attentive but at the same time you didnt know they were there. Everything was so discreet. What a superb team of people and the best best food, so worthy of its two stars. We will be flying back to Copenhagen again in the near future just to visit Kadeau. If you havent been then get it on your list immediately!!
Amazing mostly - too expensive …
This is an incredible place where they put heart and soul into what they are doing. I do recommend you going but have to warn on price hence 4 stars - I spent £1300 on a meal for two with one middling bottle of wine and a shared flight of (amazing) fruit juices. That is too much. For that the food and atmosphere have to completely blow you away and that didn’t quite happen. All of the menu is inspired by an Island between Sweden and Denmark which - best will in the world - restricts variety of ingredients although they are valiant with what they had. The meal was amazing with much time and care obvious - stand out - walnut tart - but struggle with another big winner of the 14 courses. Juice flight was stunning work - brilliant and I was mightily impressed and inspired by that - Each course had an explanation - whole thing spookily like the film “the menu” If you’ve seen it! Was I glad I went - yes very nearly. The price feels wrong by about 20/30%. But you can see where the cost comes from. You can see I have mixed feelings as it’s a huge effort of will and creativity. Restaurant was full too and all seemed happy - If you can afford reasonably easily - go. If it’s a one off and you want your socks blown off - then it’s a maybe.
Innovation and perfection
It is very hard to describe this restaurant appropriately since the sensorial experience is just unexpected and amazing. The restaurant offers a fixed menu with 14 different servings, wine, or juice pairings (don't miss the incredible juice pairing). Dietary needs are considered (you have to tell them in advance). There are only eight tables; the kitchen is open-sight, and the chefs themselves serve the menu and explain ingredients and preparation. The style is minimalistic, with the accent on fish, vegetables, and preserves, most of them coming from the island of Bornholm. The service is impeccable, and the ambiance is friendly and elegant. A restaurant not to miss.

The first four dish which is made of by smoked skill and it is from the small island such as Bornholm after that the last one is the winter iconic dish

Incredible service and a lot of interesting new flavours through the various preserving techniques that they apply. Broad wine list with knowledgeable sommeliers.
Mind-blowing food served by a humble team in an ex-hot yoga studio
We ate at a lot of good places in Copenhagen and Kadeau was our favorite meal. It was mind-blowing. The food was well presented and so unique - flavors we wouldn't have just anywhere. The space and team were so warm and friendly - the waiters were very chatty and made us feel welcome. Some nice restaurants are pretentious, but Kadeau was humble and inclusive. Good cocktails (we event went to Ruby bar the next day) and wine pairing. Highly recommend.
Copenhagen GOAT
Absolutely wonderful on every level. GOAT status. Gorgeous, cozy and creative. Attentive and friendly staff add depth and expertise.
The absolute best we had in Copenhagen
If you want to have one of the best meals of your life, you should come here. If not, I don't know what else to tell you. Nor do I have the vocabulary to tell you how good the food was, or the extreme hygge we were enthralled by at the end of the night. I would actually get the juice pairing over the wine to get an additional suite of tastes that you haven't had before. So glad we had this on our last night in town. It was such a perfect ending to our visit.
A most memorable meal in an exquisite setting...
What a little gem: small and intimate, elegant in every detail - from the dark and woody interior to the masterful light that made the patrons and the food the focus of attention, to the inviting inner courtyard with plants, flowers and herbs (some of which during the evening ended up on our plates), to the incredibly knowledgable and caring staff, to the super friendly chefs that did not skip a beat at the kitchen. Every bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, probably with the exception of one - pork - which was delicious yet a little heavy for me (mostly because I am less of a carnivore than I thought I was). Worth repeats and definitely worth a visit, especially if you are looking for a smaller, not-pretentious-yet-exquisite fine dining location in Copenhagen
Great food by a great team
Let me start with the lovely staff: Nothing like having the chef greet you and welcome you when you walk in. The team was amazing and attentive and there when needed, but otherwise not hovering. Everyone was friendly and it was a pleasure seeing how the kitchen staff worked on the dishes. Except for the prawns which were a little too rich for me, all dishes were amazing -- especially the peas wrapped in fig leaves which reminded me of a Peruvian childhood dish. The smoked salmon was to die for, so was the hake. Desserts were delicious, too. The vibe was not pretentious or stiff at all, which made the evening even more fun. Definitely worth 2 Michelin stars!
“Simply The Best”
From start to finish our visit was flawless. The staff, the ambiance and of course the food, all were quite simply as good as it gets. Every dish was beautifully presented by knowledgeable chefs, their care and enthusiasm for what they had created was infectious and elevated their creations to a level I have not previously experienced. The wine pairing was presented expertly and knowledgeably and perfectly complimented each and every dish. It would seem unfair to single out individual dishes as each course was stunning but the hot and cold smoked salmon with onion and lavender was salmon on a whole new level. As for the Queen scallop ice cream what genius not only conjures that one up but executes it to perfection! Do not miss the opportunity to eat at this restaurant, we traveled from Wales simply for this reason and it was well worth the effort.
Deserving of their stars, unique and special dining experience
The quality and preparation of the food along with the warm and friendly service made this a truly special dining experience. Menu was varied and creative and the meal was well paced with interesting wine pairings selected. Best salmon I have ever had, hands down! The atmosphere is refined but not stuffy.

3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousStation67 now uses their connections at Kadeau Copenhagen København to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
