Ki-sho 葵匠 Singapore Reviews from The Last Year
Best Japanese in Singapore
One of the most memorable food experiences ever! Greeted by a doorman, set in a charming historical building with gardens, assisted by pleasant knowledgeable and professional wait staff. Followed by the most incredible Japanese cuisine.
Good food, but uninteractive overall
I recently visited Ki-Sho for their $450 omakase experience, and overall, I had a mixed impression. The food, in general, was good, showcasing the chef's skill and the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. However, one of the major draws of omakase for me is the intimate interaction between the chef and diners, which was unfortunately missing during our visit. With a party of four, I expected a bit more engagement. Moreover, a standout in terms of expectation vs. reality was the Charcoal Miyazaki beef. Given the reputation of Miyazaki beef, I was looking forward to this course, but it was a letdown. The beef was on the drier side and lacked the flavor I was anticipating. Additionally, this course felt rushed which affected the overall dining rhythm. On the upside, the price was reasonable considering the overall experience. Would I return? Unlikely, but perhaps, with the hope of seeing some improvements in the aspects mentioned. If the interaction and pacing can match the quality of most dishes, this place has the potential to be an excellent omakase destination.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
