Amazing steak in an amazing decorated restaurant in central London
The best steak ever! The whole restaurant was very nicely decorated and the staff were lovely. We went for an early dinner so there was hardly any other people in the restaurant, the staff gave us a free starter as we was one of the only ones which was a nice touch. Later on in the evening it gets a lot busier so would recommend booking early and dining later. The spin the wheel element of the menu was amazing as well

Be the first to Reply6 legged brunch - major disappointment
Went to the M restaurant Victoria branch, as we saw advert for 6 legged brunch on Instagram. We immediately booked and went yesterday and wow, what a dissapointment! None of the doggie dishes were as described. Instead of 3 types of chicken jerky, they hot 2 dried chicken necks, risotto was some kind of oats with green leaf and chicken foot on top as garnish and the cookies did not have a sight of bacon in them - at least the doggies liked the cookies! The risotto dish was not touched by one of them, the second dog had messed up tummy whole night (we are on shower no.3 right now). As for a human food, it was fine, but the service was not great. I specifically asked if Shakshuka was spicy (never had it before) I was reassured it was not. Surprise! It was... so I asked for more yogurt, but waiter forgotten about me and we had to ask another one. Steak and eggs were fine but the staff completely missed opportunity to upsell, we would have gotten some extras, such as chips, or vegetables, but nope, complete miss. The "pancakes" were not pancakes at all, it was more of a dense cornbread. I am type of person that never passes on desert, in this instance, I left half of it behind. I got a feeling that when staff figured out we are not there for drinks - where they probably make most money, they disregarded us as unimportant and the service went really downhill. There was 1 lady right at the end who was making fuss about our dogs, and she would be the only one deserving 5*. We literally went there for the doggie element, hoping for some cute pictures, but will not be posting even the couple we have, this is not kind of restaurant we want to promote.
Be the first to ReplyPrivate party
We went for a private party that was hosted downstairs. The Staff are friendly, the place is decorated nicely and has a warm nice feel to it. The drink prices were a little steep but I suppose that is expected for the location, however the drinks were nice and made properly which was good. There was canapes included in the party and to be honest I only liked one of them that was passed around which was a shame. Saying all that I would happily return in the future if I got the opportunity.
Be the first to Replydissapointing...
The bar was great with delicious cocktails and experienced bartenders but the resturant was dissapointing. Our waiter gave us a suggestion for a "vegetarian" starter and was told it could be vegan but once we raised a fish allergy, he said there was fish in the so called vegetarian meal! Was overpriced for what we got and will not be going back!

Been to M restaurant in thread needle street some time ago and it was great. Shame the new one at Canary Wharf does match up at all. Someone needs to teach the chef how to cook steak because at ยฃ40 for a rib eye I don't expect to leave fat an grissle behind on the plate. I asked for medium so the 'eye' would be rendered but the steak came out rare. Lot of money to pay for a steak I could have gotten better from Miller and Carter
Be the first to ReplyUnderwhelming and not worth the money
Underwhelming meal. I was looking forward to going here and left thinking disappointed and certainly wonโt be going back. Service was slow and not good but when the bill arrived ยฃ150 added for service !! Bread for the table cost ยฃ45 and whilst it was nice itโs a rip off. Waiters are happy to say โbread for the tableโ without adding at a cost of ยฃ4.40 each! Wine ridiculously expensive so we opted for a cocktail and a few beers. Friend chicken to start was very nice and my sirloin steak again was nice but Iโve had better. We all ordered a side of fries/chips with our steak and the portions were huge, the staff should advise one portion is enough for 2, so much waste. Staff were friendly but slow service. Iโve dined in a lot of fine dining restaurants but M wonโt be on my return list.

ยฃ4.54 for a Diet Coke, thought for that much I would at least get the glass bottle of coke, no they found the smallest glass full of ice and put in about a 3rd of the bottle in! They charge 15% service charge without telling you and hold the card reader so you canโt see the amount! Had to check my bank balance to find out how much it was. Stay away!

A late lunch for a family craving meats. Innovative menu, certainly to be repeated. Good meats and sides and starters. The salon is very nice with lovely music. With all of the excellent food and prime meats, they offered me the cheapest supermarket mustard!!! They didnโt have Dijon mustard. Please fix that.
Be the first to ReplyGreat meal, Wonderful Service
A great restaurant with wonderful service. It is a bit hidden, but well worth it. we were referred by the concierge at the St. Ermine's and had a very nice steak and pork chop.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing theatre menu
Our waiter did not really understand the gluten free options and the puddings were poor. Whilst this place looked great on th ewebsite, it did not live up to the ยฃ35 price tag for dinner
Be the first to ReplyFive Ladies Evening out
We very much enjoyed our cocktail making session with the wonderful Sebastian who was a patient teacher. The bar was a great space - furnished beautifully and intimate enough for five friends to chat as well as sip cocktails. Dinner next where the charming Giuseppe looked after us incredibly well. One vegan in the group was catered for without any fuss and we carried on chatting long after dinner but we never felt as though we were being hurried. What a lovely evening- great setting and wonderful staff!
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced Steakhouse.
Dinner with colleagues and board. Service was poor for the price - mixing up peoples dishes, forgetting orders etc. but the real crime of the night was when they delivered the steaks. Wow, Iโm not sure Iโve ever tasted a colder steak. Everyone had the same issue (those that ordered steaks). Steak was taken away and they reheated it. Tasted like it had been in the microwave - rubbery texture. Steaks were a very bland flavour (Argentinian ribeye).
Be the first to ReplyGreat Service Food Okay
Warm friendly staff. Food okay but Iโm not a steak fan. The fries were okay but not crisp enough for me. The dessert was brownie and vanilla ice cream. Too much brownie and not enough ice cream.

We walked by this restaurant several times and did not think to go in. On a recommendation from our hotel concierge for a steak restaurant, we went. The restaurant is all downstairs. Food and survive were excellent
Be the first to Replyterrible food, outrageously priced and rude service
Essentially an average steak on a plate. no garnish, no flourishes, just a steak on a plate. Rude waitress who pressed us for a dessert choice as we were mid-way through our main course. She finally gave up pestering after she saw how irritated we were by her persistence - the staff were clearly in a hurry to go home. Hassleback potato return due to its golf ball-like consistency; itโs eventual replacement, once the rest of the main had been finished, was exactly the same. Bad pub food for 6 people = ยฃ375.
Be the first to ReplyDate night and birthday surprise
Thank you for a lovely evening. We couldnโt of had a better night. What made the night more special was having the birthday surprise go to plan. Thank you to everyone for making it so perfect. The steak is incredible here. Not to mention THE BROWN BUTTER CAKE. It was heaven. Interior is so sophisticated too. The perfect night

We had the set pre theatre menu. Excellent tasting food and wonderful service in lovely surroundings. Just didnโt like paying for water and fancy bread. I was too shy to ask the cost. Really lovely tasting food served by genuine staff
