5 out of 5
Beautiful restaurant at a gorgeous hotel worth the visit. The 5 star service starts the moment you valet (complimentary with the meal) and enter this beautiful establishment. Service is professional, friendly and never pushy. The dishes are large, we
Delicious Montréal cuisine
Wonderful dinner with family. The lobster Cesar was delicious and we bucked tradition and had 3 cheeses which were delicious. We shared the beef for 2 and the risotto. The steak was tender and delicious and while I normally avoid sauce and as good a
Warning — Appetizer arrives before the cocktail if they think you don’t know better
If they think you don’t know better, they bring your appetizer before the cocktail. I still cannot believe that this so-called high-end gastronomic house would serve a mixed cocktail with a truffle soup. I have seen this rush-rush tactic befor
Great experience with French cuisine at a Forbes recommended restaurant !
Went there for the Valentine's Day. From the start, you feel very welcome when you get there. We choosed the 5 courses Valentine's Day menu and we were not disappointed accompanied with a Tuscany red wine following the advice received from
Excellent lunch spot
We went there a few times the past few years. It was always amazing. This is one of my favorite weekend lunch/brunch spots when I visit Montréal. The service is warm and attentive. Food ingredients are fresh and of very high qualities. Food present
Excellent, But Pricey
The food, service, wine list were all excellent. Nice decor. Prices are steep, as one would expect. A great place for a special night out.
Somewhat disappointing breakfast at a prestigious location
My wife and I were on a Christmas outing to Montreal and decided to have breakfast here. All in all it was rather underwhelming. A fairly ordinary full American breakfast at anything but ordinary prices. The coffee was average and slightly tepid. The
Great for lunch, and .... expensive
This is a fancy restaurant in the 600-dollar-a-night Ritz hotel in downtown Montreal. A minimal two-course lunch without coffee or dessert will cost 50 CAD, or about 80 CAD per person after tax and tip. Not that this matters, but then the lunch shoul
Meh
Just okay. We had the five course tasting menu and only two of the courses were standouts. The service was also spotty. Really did not feel this experience merited the very expensive price. I have had much better meals in Canada for a fourth of the c
Wonderful spot
Such a wonderful spot for dinner. The meal was delicious. The food was creative and well presented. The wines were amazing too.

Beautiful restaurant
Nice place to dine at in Montreal. Very beautiful restaurant. Maison Boulud has delicious food and drinks. The meal was great from beginning to end.
Top quality
Top quality food. Can’t go wrong at Daniel Boulud restaurants. The food was very delicious and the wine was amazing. Would recommend.
Service above and beyond!
My husband and I visited after a concert for coffee and dessert. We arrived a bit too late and decided to sit at the bar. BUT - our amazing waiter Danny said - let me see what I can do about dessert - and he looked after us so beautifully. He boug
This kitchen needs improvement.
At Maison Boulud it is unfortunate that such elegance and superior service is downgraded by truly awful food. The entire experience at Maison Boulud should be one of elevated dining but we were sorely disappointed by the cuisine. Let us add that we
Well worth a visit
I visited this restaurant to try the tastings menu cum wine pairing. With tips, at the time of writing, this translated into a roughly 450 CAD$ bill for one person. That's roughly in the ballpark of what you'd pay in Michelin 1* restaurants, so while
Disappointing Birthday Dinner
Maison Boulud has long been known for its exquisite French cuisine and elegant atmosphere, and as a fan of fine dining, I was excited to celebrate my birthday there. I was extremely specific with my husband as to where I wanted to celebrate my dinne
Pleasant experience
Excellent food, very professional and warm service and elegant atmosphere The one thing missing is warm bread!
Disappointing !
When we arrived, the valet told us that the parking lot was full and that he could not take our car: By insisting, he would eventually comply by parking the vehicle in front of the restaurant! But finishing his shift at 11 p.m., he does not guarantee
Dinner on Saturday night in Montreal
Beautiful garden setting at this restaurant, should have been an incredible meal and it was just average - we were so taken aback! Having eaten at Daniel Boulud's restaurants in NYC and Miami, we were expecting great things and the food was just ver
Fantastic Service and Experience
Dined with my wife. Fantastic food and staff. Met expectations in terms of drink list, food and service.
Extra ordinary food!
We ate here for two breakfasts and one supper. The breakfasts were fantastic, probably the best Smoked Salmon and Eggs Benedict in the city. For supper, the sommelier (Stephanie) was fantastic.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Maison Boulud Montreal at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Maison Boulud Montreal page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FamousStation67, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FamousStation67 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FamousStation67 for any questions Peter may have as FamousStation67 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousStation67 now uses their connections at Maison Boulud Montreal to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FamousStation67 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FamousStation67's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Maison Boulud Montreal!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
