Amazing hotel
Rooms are big with a breathtaking view! The service is very good. We enjoyed our stay there. Confortable bed and pillows. Best hotel in the downtown of Miami. If I ever visit Miami again I will definitely choose this hotel.
Be the first to ReplyWe Love This Hotel
This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel in the past 2 years and each time it has been great. From check-in to check-out, everything was wonderful. The hotel has a fabulous restaurant and is within walking distance of numerous shops and other places to eat. The service was excellent - we couldn't ask for anything more.
Be the first to ReplyVery Nice MO
Yes a bit old and not as modern as some hotels. However we found the rooms extremly comfortable and the service excellent. The loaction is great - quiet and safe. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Lots of people watching The Sunday Brunch was not as good as anticipated.

2 nights and 2 rooms. First night they put us in a room with 2 beds for 3 people despite being told on the booking--no sleep whatsoever after a 14 hour long-haul flight. We tried calling guest services on 12 different ocassions with no answer--operator 8 times same fate--completely ridiculous. Complimentary coffee in the lobby freezing cold and simply disgusting. Breakfast on the first morning. We had between 3 of us; 1 x cereal 2 x toast Scrambled eggs from buffet--cold 2 x chicken sausages from buffet--cold Fruit--cold--which is the only positive 2 x English Breakfast Tea--cold and dreadful. Cost $187??!! We are friends of MO and it clearly stated complimentary breakfast for 2. Pool area in fairness is nice despite the ridiculous prices for food and drink. Eventually moved rooms without any grace and we got a King size bed with a fold down bed for our son. We arrived back at the hotel from dinner and had to make thye bed up ourselves despite houskeeping having been in. Breakfast on the 2nd Morning was worse than day 1. Our waitress (who we will not name) was clearly not trained to any level of service and was positively rude. After day 1 drinks being awful I went to the local starbucks and bought the 3 of us hot drinks. She did not like this at all and we were "ordered" to hide our drinks under the table. She then proceeded to ignore us for the rest of our time at the table (we were not rude in any way whatsoever and followed her orders) leaving her assistant who spoke. Once again we had very very little to eat as the very small buffet section is an absolute insult to anybody who likes a good breakfast. The Omelette guy kept using the same pan over and over again without ever washing it which could lead to major cross contamination issues but this only highlights the complete lack of professionalism that we endured. All in all a complete waste of money considering we paid circa $1500 for 2 nights with no sleep, no breakfast and zero service. Also as a side note do not hold your breath if you like a good modern hotel gymn--the gymn here is dreadful and is located in what seems to be 4 poorly converted guest bedrooms comlete with ensuite toilet and TV--Bizarre.

Only stayed here for 1 night , quick stop. As always the service is impeccable and we were well looked after. Many thanks to George/Jorge in the bar for pointing out where to go for shops and restaurants, and for sorting out my phone! We arrived very late but in room dining was still available at midnight which was extremely welcome.

A disappointment! In my opinion, what makes a hotel "luxury", or "5 stars", is the service! And what I found here was disappointing! The hotel will be demolished soon, so apparently they no longer make a point of delivering what they sell to guests. Anyone who knows me knows how important a gym is to me. I always book hotels with my training in mind and this time was no different! As soon as I checked in, I asked about the location and opening hours of the fitness center and the receptionist told me (only) that it was open 24 hours a day. Well, on the 2nd day I arrived to train, the gym was closed for changing floors and would stay that way for 3 days. I was already dressed, hair tied up and pre-workout taken, I went to ask what to do. They gave me a piece of paper with 3 gym addresses (in the city of Miami) that I could use. So I went to the first address (they didn't provide transportation) and to our surprise (mine and the hotel's, when I came back and informed them), the place was no longer a fitness center! I went back to the hotel and told the manager everything that happened (it was already 1pm) who just gave me another address. In short, I wasted that entire day until I was able to do a simple 60-minute workout, and I had to go to this place on other days if I wanted to train, which cost me US$20 per day, plus the time lost in coming and going. Something that could have been easily avoided, with advance notice and I would change hotels. The very next day, there was a condominium sales stand set up in the hotel lobby. They are already more concerned about the future than the present. Leaving everything that happened aside, we didn't like the location, because there's a lot of traffic around, it takes a long time to get anywhere and that ruins the vacation atmosphere, in my opinion. Be the first to ReplyThe best hospitality, hands down!
I travel a lot. A LOT lot. Typically when I stay at a hotel I'm there to sleep and enjoy the amenities and it still feels like I'm away from home. I've stayed here at the Mandarin previously but this time was very different. I honestly felt like I was at home surrounded by family and friends. The hospitality was incredible from start to finish, to the point I almost extended my work stay into a personal one. Angel was absolutely amazing. There wasn't a moment I didn't feel that he wasn't there for me. Every corner I turned, if he was there, he'd say hello to me and mention me by name. I felt after a few quick conversations that he was genuinely a friend. He made sure our stay was perfect, and it absolutely was. Bianca in the hotel bar/restaurant also went above and beyond so many times that she even made sure we had great recommendations for things to do, places to check out and even made our time in the hotel memorable. She even made us "Bianca's Angels" drinks! (You'll have to ask her yourself!) So excited for the new hotel to begin! I will definitely be a lifelong customer (especially because of Angel!)!

From the valet parking greeting, to front desk staff, housekeeping, restaurant staff and food, every single interaction the level of service was incredible and made our stay extra-special. The hotel's installations and amenities were also very well maintained and very comfortable. The room's view, the bed, linens and towels, access to our car from valet parking, just amazing. It rained for a good portion of our trip so sadly we didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool nor the spa as we were busy with other plans. We had an opportunity to enjoy the La Mar restaurant for both breakfast on several days as well as dinner. For breakfast we did both a la carte as well as buffet. Both equally good, food delicious and fresh. Service on point but special mention to the Maitre d' and hostess as well as one of our servers, Ana. Incredible every day. We were very pleasantly surprised by our dinner at La Mar. We sat in the small side terrace right by the water and the view made everything extra special. Food and cocktail preparations and menu selection were amazing! Loved it. The highlight of the evening however was the incredible service by our server Alfredo. Special shoutout to him! 5 star service!! Sadly we also did not get a chance to enjoy the bar with the live music. Next time for sure! Also, special mention to our Housekeeper on Saturday and Sunday. She was so lovely and accommodating to our every whim. This is my third trip to Miami, both previous times stayed in Miami Beach. Never again. I will be returning to the Mandarin Oriental from now on!
Be the first to ReplyEnjoyed our stay
Enjoyed our two night stay. Room was very nice but in need of some refurbishment, particularly in the bathrooms. The junior suite is set has a business feel to it. Centre of room dominated by a desk arrangement that is not quite in keeping if you are not staying as a business guest. The bed is very firm - we would have preferred something a little more comfortable. Dinner was excellent except for the cost of the club sodas, which unexpectedly came up at $7 a piece, in a tiny glass. Add service and tax and you are up to $8.50 per very tiny glass. We paid $34 for 4 small glasses. Fizzy tap water is expensive in Miami. Breakfast was excellent. Truly 5 stars.

This was a perfect hotel. Service was exceptional and location just right to see Miami. Particularly loved the private beach and the food. All the team provided exceptional service and quite simply this was a fabulous stay
Be the first to ReplyA wonderful stay!!!
My wife and I recently stayed at the Mandarin Oriental during my wifeโs work trip. We loved this hotel. Close proximity to Miami without being directly in the busiest part of the city, close proximity to drive over to Key Biscayne as well. Hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning lobby view of the city. Hotel staff are courteous, attentive and friendly. Breakfast buffet is top notch and lounging by the pool with a view of the city was fantastic!!! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Miami!

Second stay in as many months. Returning again in March. Service remains superb, attentive and courteous. Love the staff. Breakfast buffet is terrific. Rooms always clean. Great beds. Value is unmatched compared to other hotels around Brickell. Stayed at other hotels over the years but Mandarin blows them away. Pool and man-made beach are gorgeous. Bar vibe also lots of fun. Don't forget the Spa, which is a gem. It's mind-blowing. Love the hot stone therapy and steam.

I was there on business and had my cell phone ringer on silent. I forgot to turn back on after the meeting. My dog past away while I was staying at their hotel. I would've been able to be with her at the end if I changed flights but they wouldn't transfer an important call to my room. They said it was too late to disturb me. A family member passed away and they were concerned about disturbing my sleep??? My fiance begged them to connect and they would not. When I shared my experience with a hotel manager, he listened well, apologized, and promised a call back. I never received that call. Its a beautiful hotel that I normally really enjoy staying at but this was terrible on their end.
Be the first to ReplyTrue โoldโ luxury with a killer view!
Loved it! Amazing comfortable rooms with balconies & the best view of Miami downtown! The hotel is not the most modern one you will find in Miami, so not that instagramable if thatโs your thing. However, rooms are luxurious, comfortable and have incredible views! Staff is great and very service oriented (even for US standards). Spa is amazing! Pool is not the biggest one but itโs nice. The hotel location is quite convenient too - the Brickell center is just couple minutes walk away. You can reach most interesting Miami spots within 20m Uber ride. All in all - loved it and will be coming back!

Another amazing stay- I canโt get enough of this place. Itโs perfect. Special mention to Enric at the Front Desk taking the effort to ensure we got a good room and JC out at the front door; heโs always great. Fantastic, quiet room and amazing shower water pressure. Love this place! Best hotel in Miami bar none!
Be the first to ReplySo disappointed
We booked here because of the chain's reputation. Despite reserving and paying for a premium veranda room, we were given an ordinary room and told nothing else was available. (I booked 4 months in advance). They also charge extra for WiFi, yet the only way you can pull up room service menus or get any other hotel info is on your WiFi. The whole experience was disappointing and there are plenty of 3 star hotel/motel chains that do a better job. Would not recommend and eoukd not return.

This was a very poor experience indeed. The restaurant breakfast service is appalling WIFI connections are unreliable. Housekeeping is very poor. One would rate this as a 4 star hotel. Yes, because the great city of. Miami deserves a proper Mandarin Oriental in line with the one in Bangkok, which brought a huge prestige to the brand.

This Brickell Mandarin is excellent. Second time back there and they didnโt fail to be wonderful in the least. Love the location ie view and the facilities perfect, laying on their little beach they made was so relaxing. Service is always excellent with a smile. Food is soooooo yum! Very clean, beautiful hotel. Rooms are great size and the balconyโs are relaxing. Just a perfect hotel in my eyes. Will be back for sure!

Very enjoyable in all respects! Workout area and spa are top tier. The views of city and Biscayne bay are remarkable. You donโt have to leave hotel property to have a great vacation. Rooms and especially the bath area are very large. David the concierge is very knowledgeable, probably the best I have ever met. Bartender at the M.O. bar makes the best drinks and has a ton of good information. Thanks Alex!
