Mari Vanna New York Reviews from The Last Year
I come here every single time I'm in NYC.
I'm obsessed with this place! This desert is AMAZING. The vibe is so so cute as well.
I came here with a friend who said it's one of the best
I came here with a friend who said it's one of the best Russian restaurants in the city and it really disappoint. I loved everything that we ate. The restaurant is adorable, quaint and service was great. Highly recommend and make sure you make a reservations.
The drinks were phenomenal.
The food is different. I enjoyed it. A new place to experience.
Mari Vanna was amazing.
The best Eastern European food I've ever had. Highly recommend!!
Service: fine Ambiance: very nice Food: don't bother.
Bland everyday cooking. Watery tasteless mashed potatoes; dill pickles out of a jar from Aldi's; chicken Kiev with cardboard envelope and tasteless chicken. Cheese pie was about standard for an average pizzeria. Was checking this place for a big party. Not going to happen.
I had the duck, she had the beef stroganoff.
The duck was not good. Unseasoned, the breast was under cooked and the skin was not crispy. But her beef stroganoff was top notch. The service was great except the waiter mistakenly tossed my leftovers. Yes I was taking the duck home to remix it. Also the dumplings were exceptionally good.

Loved the entire experience !! The ambience ( you definitely step back in time into grandmas parlor) was so relaxing and warm The wait staff are professional and efficient and pleasant The food was interesting and authentic and made me miss my parents and my grandparents cooking. Nice to know I have a place to come to to experience the "old world" Try a vodka flight - you won't be sorry We will be back with more family members
We loved our experience here.
Although it was a Friday night, and the restaurant was extremely busy, our wait was only 10 minutes. Service fantastic, food fresh, original and so tasty. Good music and for this day and age in Manhattan; well priced. Highly recommend!
We came here to celebrate friends visiting and one of them
We came here to celebrate friends visiting and one of them is Armenian. She had been here before and said it lived up to the hype. The atmosphere is very cozy and decor inside is stunning and beautifully decorated. The food boasts a lot of Eastern European cuisine with a lot of diverse dishes. As a table we shared the sunflower salad, the cheese pie, soleniya, and as an entree we had the salmon filet, and the chicken kotletki. I was happy to have someone who could order for us and authentically. While certainly on the pricey side we enjoyed all the food and it was delicious. This is most certainly a place you come to celebrate something.
Had a wonderful dinner here for my mother in laws 81
Had a wonderful dinner here for my mother in laws 81 birthday! The food was outstanding. I recommend the Pelmeni Dumplings, the Pirozkhi sampler of different flavors. The Borsht was great. My favorite entree has to be the beef stroganoff and also you must try their homemade infused Horseradish Vodka! Amazing and outstanding. We will be back again. Also their caviar was phenomenal with their homemade blinis/crepes.
Best Russian in town
Excellent Russian cuisine with all the traditional dishes present. Very kind and helpful service. Very casual but well looked after environment.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
