Stay away from this hotel.
.. elevator sucks and takes forever. It is crazy here!!!! On a busy day like Friday and Sunday, you will easily wait at least 20 mins and elevator is packed....annoying!!!

Roof top bar is popular. Room was fine. Service was fine. Billing process was not transparent. Surcharge for early departure, when they were given more than 24 hours notice. Left an absolute terrible taste in my mouth. There was a time when I used Marriott facilities on a weekly basis. Glad I made the decision to take my business elsewhere. Thought I would give Marriott another try.

Starting with the first impression - thank you, Jada, for great customer service at the front desk. Thank you for recognizing our titanium status. The M-Lounge had nice options for breakfast and evening snack. The water station was in sporadic working order. Would be easy to have bottled waters. The Lounge patio was in disarray and dirty/torn (furniture). Our room needed replacement furniture - looking very used (couch pillows). But appreciated the property and room being clean.

I had a business trip in Irvine and I booked Marriott Irvine spectrum, thinking it was a good idea. The trip was great until my check out. Due to the long hours of work I forgot brand new T-shirts in my hotel room. When I came home to unpack, I realized I left my T-shirts in the room. when I called the front desk to ask about lost and found, they told me the housekeepers did not turn anything in. I don't recommend this place because the housekeepers are thieves. If you want an honest place to rest your head I do not recommend this place. If they are willing to steal brand new t-shirts they will steal your valuables.

We usually stay at the Courtyard but we decided to give this place a shot because why not? As expected, the rooms here are much nicer than Courtyard. They have an M Club room which offers free snacks, coffee, and a quiet seating area. Access to the Spectrum mall is easy. There were a couple things I didn't like about the hotel which I'll explain below: Valet parking is $45 as of November 2023. My husband had a temper tantrum over that which made me annoyed with him, but I could see why he was so upset over that since it wasn't noted when we made our reservation. Their rooftop bar is super loud and you can hear it until midnight. Although this place is considered "nice", it's not upscale, even though it pretends to be. When we were here there was a middle school lacrosse team and one of their trashy dads who had M Club access allowed the entire team to hog all the free breakfast. My husband and I weren't planning to eat there as we only wanted the Illy Coffee (which btw, is REALLY good) and just go home, but I felt bad for the other patrons who wouldn't be able to get food. This isn't really the hotel's fault, but don't come to this hotel expecting a fancy visit. Their "infinity" pool is not an infinity pool, just a pool with a recessed edge to the concrete, lol. Not really a negative but Marriott, stop trying to advertise a feature that's not there at all! Lastly and personal preference, I think I prefer the hotel bathrooms in the Courtyard vs the Marriott. Overall I thought it was a nice experience but not memorable.
Be the first to ReplyI stay in Marriott hotels all the time and all over.
I am a titanium elite member and in all of my travels I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for a feather free room. I am at 90 minutes and still waiting with no end in sight. Meanwhile other guests have been getting rooms without any problem.

Very dirty in the hallways and we had a broken sink in the kitchen. Very checked out employees. Not Marriott standards I'm accustomed to
Be the first to ReplyTerrible hotel.
Seems nice from the outside but once you're inside it's motel level dirty. Lady at the front desk named "Naz" was completely rude and unhelpful. Never returning again
Be the first to ReplyOver priced hotel.
M Club is not worth it . Very limited food and service. Front staff had bad attitude. Room toilet wouldn't flush and constantly was running, sofa dirty, Pool area super dirty, many unattended kids, forced valet $45 (they had plenty of staff for valet but understaffed everywhere else). Go somewhere else.

Hotel room is amazing The bar is amazing - but valet is so expensive. Also ate last week for brunch at the cafe and the waiters were not so nice. We had to ask for water 3 times . Also when my guests arrived -he was so rude asking for the credit card since were not hotel guests - he could've waited until we sat down.

Overall the hotel is super nice and we love staying here, we are Marriott Gold elite members and have stayed at this particular hotel at least 10 times. This past weekend we had a mixed experience. Booked a corner suite and arrived at the hotel at 5:30pm, had a dinner reservation at 6:15 nearby our room wasn't ready??!! We were told it would be about 15 mins, I've never seen anything like this for the amount we pay and not have the room ready is crazy, the gal did say sorry but offered us nothing whether we are as loyal as we are as customers or staying for our 1st time they could have comp'd our valet, gave us a couple drink vouchers for the bar but nothing. Then we went out to dinner and walked around the Spectrum a bit got back to the hotel around 11pm and tried to go up to the rooftop bar that is supposed to be open until midnight. Two guys at the front desk (Zayed and Juan Pablo)were very dismissive and told us they are not letting anyone else upstairs. We are paying hotel guests you'd think they'd be able to figure it out. Zayed was there earlier when our room wasn't ready too. Honestly the front desk as the initial face of the hotel doesn't care and has an elite attitude it's just really bad. We ended up walking over to the downstairs lobby bar and the bartender there was amazing I believe his name was Huang, so nice we were frustrated about our experience and he was just apologetic and conversational. That's what I would have hoped we'd get all day but not at the front desk with Zayed who has his job and being costumer service oriented isn't part of his job I guess.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time staying at this hotel and it was great.
The location is great, right next to the Irvine Spectrum and easy freeway access. The staff were friendly and the rooms were very good (clean).Great gym. Everything new and clean (water and towels available). The starbucks in the lobby closed early a few afternoons which I didn't understand.Definitely recommend this hotel, great for vacation or business.
Be the first to ReplyI have had numerous meals at the Heirloom Farmhouse
I have had numerous meals at the Heirloom Farmhouse Restaurant and for as much as I have enjoyed their food, this most recent experience was HORRIBLE. I spent over $300 taking my employees out to lunch for the Holidays only to have to pay a $12 valet (allegedly discounted) for each of my employee vehicles. The worst part of this is that there is no self-parking here, so you are relegated to their handcuff process which is a total scam in which this restaurant and the Irvine Marriott are in a conspiracy against the public. If you go here, you will unequivocally be screwed - DO NOT go here for your accommodations and eating experience.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location.
Nice property. Attention to detail and customer service lacking. This is how they welcome guests to their rooms (see pictures) - stained towels and cushions on the window seats ripped/worn - so I got sheets to put on the couch. Called to speak with the front desk staff to get fresh towels but was cut off when speaking and still didn't get the towel sets I requested. Disrespectful!

I should start by mentioning I live just a few miles from here and my visits were either as a staycation or visiting family that stayed here.Regardless of the reason, this is one of my top 10 favorite hotels in the US. Why? Great staff, clean and well designed lobby. Starbucks onsite, great views and let's not forget the epic rooftop bar. The only challenges I've noticed are valet parking which I'm personally not a fan of, and minimal EV charging stalls in the highest density EV location in the country. They do appear to also have some issues with understaffing but everywhere has this problem right now. The rooms are well laid out, and some have epic corner views. I love the bathrooms and if you do get a suite enjoy the view day and night as much as you can! (Note: bring an eye mask though, because the light peaks through)Overall I love this hotel, and will definitely continue to refer friends, family and colleagues to stay here-- and I'll personally continue to pop in for staycations as often as I can!

This hotel was amazing a few years ago! During Covid it was weird and we opted to not stay here. Post Covid the service is awful, beds need updated, the concierge lounge has gone way down hill. The breakfast is awful, their Starbucks machine is often out of order, and they have had a sign up for months that their wine dispenser is out of order! And their breakfast was awful, may have mentioned this before. Maybe new management I don't know but not great here at all! Sad! Also, the first time we were here years ago we got an upgrade upon checking in, during Covid they lied and said there weren't any available when we could clearly see there were rooms available online, don't lie, just say we have rooms that aren't being used right now due to staffing- we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, love it there! We are checking out tomorrow, have another couple of days scheduled next week, we most likely will be canceling. Oh and don't get me started on the rooftop lounge! It's always been booked out for days. They don't even keep some reservations available for guests. It's locals that come and book it up.Also, to confirm what another reviewer said, yes, valet parking is $42 a night! Outrageous. It used to be around $25-$30, still ridiculous.
Be the first to ReplyWe love staying at this hotel.
Staff is amazing, especially the valet crew. Special shout out to Tristan, Cole, and Dan. These young men hustled our entire stay and worked with a smile and the best manners.
Be the first to ReplyI chose this hotel for a short little staycation this past
I chose this hotel for a short little staycation this past weekend, and had quite an enjoyable time. The hotel felt modern and upscale, which I really liked. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a beautiful residential corner room kitchen suite that let in lots of natural light and boasted quite the view of the city, which is one of the perks of traveling with my husband who is a lifetime titanium elite. They also have a wonderful roof top bar area with amazing views. (See photos) There is a good sized pool with lots of shaded areas, a club lounge for their club members, a gym, a restaurant, and a bar with the nicest bartender that we chatted about our travels with. (He had just returned from a week-long vacation for his sister's wedding.) He served us a few specialty cocktails that were pretty tasty. We told him that we will be back, and we will!
Be the first to ReplyReally have enjoyed staying here.
Took sometime to explore outside and see what they had out near the pool. I took some pictures of some fun activities they have! Beautiful place to stay!
