Momofuku Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
"Chef's kiss" and vegetarian friendly restaurant that
"Chef's kiss" and vegetarian friendly restaurant that would indulge in over and over again. We started our food adventure and started with the spicy cucumber. The main base for the sauce is scallion (my hubby asked). I am 50/50 if I would get this dish again because it had an interesting taste. I can't really describe it. It had flavor but to me only when you added everything together (peanuts, green sauce, and cucumber). We then ordered Ginger Scallion and Mushroom Ramen and shared the two plates. SO DELICIOUS, both dishes but the Mushroom Ramen was my fave out of the two. The Ginger Scallion is refreshing especially after walking around in the hot sun. You're probably thinking Ramen in this weather. YES, YES, YES. The restaurant is a nice cool temperature by the time we got settled, the ramen was timely. We ordered a side of tofu which was surprisingly well seasoned and went well with both noodle dishes. Both dishes were very flavorful and exactly what the tummy needed to jump start the rest of our day. We will be back! Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Everyone was very friendly and we were well taken care of. Ambiance: 10/10 it's a total vibe and I love the graffiti style art.
We got hungry late at night and made it to momofuku 40 min
We got hungry late at night and made it to momofuku 40 min before closing on a weekday! We were seated at the kitchen bar and it was so engaging watching the chefs prepare the food. Also seeing the food come out helped us decide what to try! Everything was immaculate! The only thing that we would pass on is the Hokkaido scallop crudo. It is very fresh and the sauce is tangy sour, but for me I would have just gotten scallop at a sushi place instead for fresher and juicier scallop. It's good but didn't satisfy my sushi/ raw fish craving. Then came the sprouting cauliflower. This was amazing it was sweet spicy sour all at once and the texture was a bit crispy on the tops and tender. For those who want some greens, this is a must. There's also some crispy garlic pieces on top. I loved the flavoring, there might be so fish sauce too I feel like I tasted it in the aftertaste. Then came the pork belly buns. SO GOOD. SO CRISPY THICK TENDER WITH SOFT BUNS. IMMACULATE! AND THERES CUCUMBERS UGH SO GOOD! Then came the ginger scallion noodle, noodle texture was just right- not to soft and a bit of a chewy texture. Loved how many mushrooms there were, made it so umami! The mushroom ramen, wow. The mushroom broth was so rich in mushroom and wasn't overly salty at all. You really tasted the mushroom and the toppings paired so well. I added a pork belly but it's not even needed because they give a huge crunchy (soft) mushroom piece with deep fried enoki, paired so well with the ramen. Again, the noodle texture is really good. Not overcooked, just right!! The star of the show for me was the grilled Iberico pork, no words. The flavor was sweet and tangy like better than Kbbq flavor ones. So much more in depth with pineapple as a sweetener and the pork was grilled so is was crispy and so tender in the middle. Melts in your mouth omg so good. A must for me! The only thing is I got rice with the pork because I'm a rice girl, it's a bit soggy and clumpy but I think it's because it's been sitting there and it was the end of the night. But that's the only miss. Everything was amazing! Exceed my expectations will definitely be back and I'll be taking my friends for sure :)

yayy i've been wanting to try this place cos i love their chili crunch oil and i'm so glad i did this past weekend! i love how they season their food. we went right when it opened at 11am and were seated quickly. the place itself is super nice~ i also loved the ambiance cos they played house music HAHA and service was also quick and attentive! it is a bit more $$ but not surprised considering it's vegas prices spicy cucumber 10/10: waowww i was surprised by how delicious it was! the cucumbers were cold and crispy and paired well with the spicy powder and crunchy nuts! idk what else they seasoned it with but it was addicting and perfectly balanced...i CRAVE it grilled asparagus 9/10: this asparagus has mayo, bonito flakes, and other toppings just like takoyaki! but with greens LOL and it hit the spot. they do add a good amount of mayo so if ur not the biggest fan of that i'd opt out of it or ask for less mayo pork belly bun 9/10: yumm the bread is so pillowy and the pork belly was pretty fatty but it worked well with the hoisin sauce and cucumber! it was super flavorful and one of the better buns i've had hehe mushroom ramen 7.8/10: the broth is rly rich with a strong flavor and the noodles are the perfect texture! but tbh i wish they cut the mushroom into smaller pieces cos it was just a large chunk and hard to bite into LMAO and there were too many green onions compared to the ratio of everything else. next time i'll get the shoyu ramen cos i tried a bit of the broth and it was SOO GOOD black sesame ice cream 10/10: wahh i didnt take pic D: but it was the smoothest black sesame ice cream ive ever had i did not feel the seeds at ALL :O and it was super creamy and not too sweet and i need to try their thai tea and coconut flavors next
My first experience at Momofuku was nothing short of
My first experience at Momofuku was nothing short of extraordinary. Having watched numerous Netflix and Hulu Originals featuring David Chang, I was familiar with his insightful discussions on food and its role in our lives. However, actually sitting at a table and tasting creations from such an influential figure in the culinary world felt like a dream come true. The decor at Momofuku is stunning, with vibrant colors and an intimate atmosphere. The main dining area is low-lit, creating a cozy ambiance, while the smaller tables resemble a bar setup. There's a unique seating area that wraps around the kitchen, allowing diners to watch the chefs put the finishing touches on dishes as they come out. Since I was dining alone, I chose to sit at this "bar." The staff were exceptionally welcoming, inquiring about my visit in a way that wasn't intrusive but added a personal touch to the experience. Their attentiveness made a significant difference, especially for someone like me who suffers from social anxiety and often relies on headphones in public. They frequently checked in to ensure I was comfortable, enhancing the overall dining experience. The food itself was a revelation. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, with flavor profiles that complemented each other beautifully. It's impossible to make a wrong choice from the menu. The chefs, noticing I was dining solo, engaged me in conversation about my experience with lamb. When I mentioned that lamb was a rarity for me, given my residence in Missouri where the food scene is limited, they graciously prepared a small plate of lamb for me to try. This gesture exemplified their sincerity and dedication to making my dining experience unforgettable. I can't stop talking about my visit to Momofuku and eagerly look forward to returning. A word of advice: be sure to book your table in advance. While they do accommodate walk-ins, the restaurant fills up quickly. Don't miss your chance to enjoy this wonderful culinary gem.

Honestly after all the controversy about David (founder of Momofuku), I was hesitant about trying the restaurant. However, the heat in Vegas was too wild and we needed a place with A/C, food and quick seatings! But, I will be fair with rating this place. Service 5/5 - Quick, efficient and attentive. I like that they are not pushy, check-in at the appropriate time, attentive to refill our water and change our plates. Nothing exceptional but acceptable service. Also they don't include gratitude for big group which I appreciate! Oysters 5/5 - Very fresh and tasty, I highly recommend Lambs Ribs 3/5 - Flavorful, sticky, but on the sweeter side Bossam 2/5 - Their bossam is more like pulled pork! Which was a bit deceiving and disappointing. It was wayy too sweet also. Dry Noodles 3/5 - This was good, we slurped this up. But, it was wayyy too small and expensive. Overall, I'm glad I tried this restaurant, but I would spend my money elsewhere.

If you're visiting Las Vegas I would definitely make a reservation to come by and try Actually pretty impressed. Salad: I'm a big salad fan. I was kinda surprised by how much the sesame seeds overpowered the salad. Was that on purpose? It was still very good though it was just a TON of sesame seeds lol. Pork buns: tasty with the sauce! Very bland without the sauce. Lamb ribs: I would recommend getting this only if you're a lamb meat fan. I don't think I'm a fan. Spicy miso ramen: solid dish. I feel the ramen was only complete when I broke my poached egg in the broth- it made the broth so delicious and rich. Good cook time on the noodles and good portion size. Service: it was average, seemed tired and treated us as friends and kinda informal, which I didn't mind at all but some ppl may not like that
This was the best meal I've had so far in Vegas.
It has spoiled me for all other ramen. I highly recommend the pork shoyu ramen with the chili crisps. The pork buns are also excellent. If you like a good old fashioned this is the place to go. They go down far too smoothly but they are excellent. Service was on point. Attentive and polite. The place is beautifully appointed and, despite the large dining area, the acoustics are great for table conversation
It's the best!!!! Always a great experience.
Pork belly buns are our favorite and can't go wrong with the ramen. Great location in Vegas.

The low review is based on our overall impression of the
The low review is based on our overall impression of the dinner based on: the service, the meal itself, and whether the actual experience tied in with what is advertised. Will attempt to give a neutral review so those who decide to come here can know what they can expect: 1. The service was strange. The first occurrence was that my wife ordered the middle school love cocktail. Our waiter was overall very kind and attentive but when he came back, he brought us the tamari old fashioned. We quickly told him that this was not what we ordered and his response was "yes it is, I read your order back to you." First of all, I don't know what a response like that is supposed to accomplish because we're not going to pay for something we didn't order and two, she certainly did not order the old fashion because I was sitting right there and he read back "middle school love." He took the drink back and mentioned that they no longer serve the middle school love. If that's not an item that is served then why is it on the cocktail menu? 2. The three dishes we got were the mushroom ramen with pork belly add on, the iberico pork dish, and the caviar chicken bun. The mushroom ramen and the iberico pork dish were pricier than what it actually was worth but I do have to mention that both of these dishes were excellent. The cost of the mushroom ramen was $30 and the iberico was $68 which is a hefty price to pay for two dishes that we have had at other locations at half the price. I know that this is Vegas and part of the expense is the ambience, the quality of the ingredients, and the flavorful and unique experiences but I don't think the price tag equated to the final product and the experience that we were having. 3. The biggest disappointment of the night was the caviar bun. If you see pictures of the caviar bun, it's $32 for a singular fried chicken bun with caviar, where some (including myself) might legitimize this price for the experience of having a deliciously crispy, savory, juicy chicken with the salty, briny, flavorful umami of the caviar to provide the perfect contrast of umami in a delicious bite. Unfortunately, this was not the case: instead what you'll find in the picture is what appears to be look like something that's almost the size of a Chick-fil-A chicken nugget topped with creme sauce and a dollop of caviar. I wasn't sure if the creme was overpowering the caviar because I tasted almost nothing but even when I tried the caviar on its own, it mildly tasted like nothing. I was again comparing my caviar bun to others pictured here on Yelp and I've come to the conclusion that it's hit or miss: you either get lucky with a larger piece of chicken or you get the sad excuse of chicken that I had this evening for $32. 4. The cherry on top, not only did our first waiter not apologize for giving us the wrong drink but as the second waitress was cleaning up our table, she dropped the chopsticks from the ramen bowl and splashed on my lap. She just stared at it, awkwardly laughed it off, then walked away without even an apology. I said it was okay but I'm surprised that no one expresses any sign of remorse when something less than ideal happened. My final thoughts: I can summarize our dinner in 4 words: disappointing, underwhelming, overhyped, and a mockery of Asian cuisine. And don't even get me started with the chili crunch -- they charge $2.50 for chili crunch when you can get chili CRUNCH at din tai Fung (or any actual genuine Asian restaurant) with no additional charge. That brings me to another word I forgot: pretentious. As much as we wanted to enjoy and love our experience at this restaurant and in support of Asian cuisine on the Vegas strip, the service left us regretting our decision.
Great Asian Inspired Spot in the Cosmo
This a convenient Asian place inside the Cosmopolitan. The service here was fast and spectacular. I had some pork bao buns and steak and eggs for brunch. The portions were big and I couldn’t finish them. If you’re looking for lunch and don’t want to go far give this place a shot.

The food is amazing and the service was great!! I can't recommend the pork belly ramen enough -- tender, juicy, cozy, full of flavor!
I went there on April 22nd and only ate their Ramen dish.
After eating, my stomach started bothering me so I used the restroom. Their food gave be diarrhea and my stomach has been feeling terrible ever since I ate there. That night I couldn't sleep and got up every hour to use the bathroom because it was so bad. The next day, I called to speak with their General Manger Josh and the girl that answered said she didn't know what time he would be in and that I should call back. I called back later that afternoon and Camille told me to call back at 2pm. I called back ad spoke with Tony, who took down all of my information and told me that Josh would call me back. Since Josh didn't call me back and the restraunt was closing in less than and hour, I called back several times and someone at the restaurant kept rejecting my call because all of a sudden it would stop ringing and after calling back several times, they finally decided to actually answer. So I explained to the guy that answered and he said Josh left early and that Josh would call me back the next day. I waited two days and called the restaurant back again today and Camille told me she doesn't know where Josh is but that he will call me back. This restrauant couldn't care less about their food, their customer service, or their patrons so if you don't want to get sick then I suggest that people not eat here.

OMG!!!! When I tell you, this is one of those places you have to eat at, you have to eat there. We were in Vegas and I ate here three times sit at the bar where you can watch the kitchen cook the food and definitely order the broccolini, or the cauliflower, and the pork. I promise, you will never have tastier pork! The service was perfect as always, the ambience seems a little hectic and a little loud, but it wouldn't keep me from not going.
After a rocky start, our experience was fantastic.
Our first server failed to even acknowledge our table for over 15 minutes followed by a less than stellar first impression when he did. As soon as he was aware, the manager stepped in and assigned a different server. Don't be afraid to ask for service if it's lacking and allow a reset, this restaurant can rock great service and great food. I hope the start was an anomaly. Our new server, Matt, was amazing. His knowledge of the food, the beverages and the provenance of the ingredients and his energy in making sure we were having a great experience was beyond expectations. We started with the House Pickles and also the Sprouted Cauliflower. This dish is my new favorite thing! I wish we lived closer to enjoy the symphony of flavors and textures in this dish again soon. I followed with the Spicy Miso Ramen. The broth is to die for. Another hit! My husband enjoyed the lamb ribs. After a citrus (yuzu?) meringue tart, we savored a finisher of Montenegro Amaro. Thank you to Matt, the manager and the kitchen staff at Momofuku for a memorable dinner!

In all the years we've been going to Vegas this is the first time we made it to Momofuko. What a delightful surprise. Every bite bursting with deliciousness. We ordered the spicy cucumbers, the ginger scallion noodles and the grilled Iberico pork. Our waiter was down to earth and attentive. I can't wait to go back and order the exact same thing because it was to die for!
Best ramen EVER! Service was also on point.
I'm going to have to come back to this place every time I go to Vegas...yes...that good.
Lunch service was really, really good.
Server was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Food was served very fast. Portion sizes were as expected. Flavors were awesome. Pork Belly Bun, Caviar Bun and the Ginger Scallion Noodle were fantastic! Highly recommended. We will be back.
Great food.
Located in the Cosmopolitan, 2nd floor. Tasty and fresh dishes. Staff very sweet and friendly. Delicious dinner in a relaxed atmosphere.
Terrible food, horrible service.
Over rated, tons of better places exist in LV. Save your money and time and go somewhere else

It's very hard to get into this place in NYC so if you get the opportunity to experience it in Vegas you should. Beautiful restaurant with fusion dishes that represent Asian/American cuisine.
Just bring me food
We had a reservation and upon arrive were asked if we wanted a menu or a budget. I love that. We set a budget and they proceeded to bring out food that the chef decided. Service was great and the food delightful. 10/10 would come back
Excellent first meal in Vegas
We were pumped to try a David Chang restaurant and Momofuko in the Cosmopolitan did not disappoint. Our server Daniel was professional yet extremely personable. We took his suggestion to let them chose our meal and it was outstanding. Our favourite course of the night, the tuna with shaved fois gras. It shouldn’t work but it really works! Overall, tasty drinks, excellent food and great service! I’d return for sure.
Vibrant atmosphere and inventive menu
Wait service is excellent - friendly and accommodating. Hostess was a bit curt, but otherwise experience with staff was excellent. Food is innovative and delicious.
Terrific experience - David Chang delivers quality food
So they say never meet your heros, they'll only dissapoint. And that was a bit how I felt as we sat down in Momofuku for an unplanned dinner. Let me just set the scene here. We had arrived in Vegas at 11.00am and I had a lunch time booking at Momofuku for lunch the next day, and was feeling lucky to get that booking. But we just happened to be in the Cosmopolitan around 6:30pm the day we arrived and walked by Momofuku with a bit of an appetite, not expecting to get a walk in. But there were seats at the kitchen counter and we were invited to sit right down. A little bit jet-lagged after a 10-hour flight from Ireland the day before, it was a little bit surreal to actually walk into a Momofuku restaurant (I have a well-thumbed copy of Chang's Momofuku in my kitchen). I've been a big fan of David Chang from when I stumbled across his Ugly Delicious series on Netflix a few years ago and his podcast is now my essential gym listening. I've been to a number of "celebrity" chef restaurants before in various locations around the world and, invariably, they have disappointed for various reasons. So, how was my first experience with Chang's Momofuku? It was terrific! We started with an order of pork buns and shrimp buns, both of which were great, the shrimp buns being particularly delicious. As we were sitting at the counter we got to see the dynamics of a working kitchen in action, not as chaotic as The Bear, but I did hear "Behind" called a few times. The attention from the gentleman managing the counter was terrific, advised us on sake choices and was just generally attentive - great service! We had Ginger Scallion Noodle and roasted Brussels Sprouts and Cauliflower to complete our meal and both dishes were delicious. We had a lunch reservation the next day and we were seated at a table this time. Again, the food was terrific, shrimp and mushroom buns to start followed by shoyu ramen and, again, the ginger scallion noodle, this time with the addition of a lovely jammy egg. The service dynamic at lunch unfortunately was quite different than at dinner - food was dropped without comment and no one enquired if food was ok - empty plates were just removed. Quite a contrast from dinner at the kitchen counter where we were made to feel special. Did the food live up to expectation? Absolutely. Was it good value for money? Yes it was. In fact I would consider it one of the best value Asian offerings in all of Las Vegas. Was I disappointed in anything? Yes, a little bit with the lunchtime service - we are a post-retirement age couple and felt that the younger groups on adjoining tables were getting significantly more attention than ourselves. It was quite a contrast to the dinner service the night before. Overall, a great food experience and look forward to visiting their New York offering in June. Highly Recommended.
Very casual loud place
This place is a huge multilevel space that gets packed at dinner. It is not a quiet romantic spot for a couple. In fact it seems to favor large groups at the tables which may be typical for the hotel. The food was quite good and the portions were large. The fresh oysters were amazingly good. The noodle bowls were chock full of ingredients. I might suggest sharing plates. It comes to about $90 per person after tip.
Yummy Ramen
We had a great lunch at momofuku. We had mushroom ramen and the pork belly bao. Both were very delish and we had great seats with a strip view behind us. They asked if we were celebrating anything, it happened to be my sister's birthday. They gave us a couple of treats from the milk bar next door. This was super nice and unexpected. Thanks for the good food and the treats!
A consistent Momofuku experience in Las Vegas
My wife and I made a reservation here for a Saturday lunch while on a U2 sphere getaway weekend. I made the reservation the day before, with minimal difficulties securing a reasonably convenient time. We were shown to our table with minimal wait at the maitre'd stand. The restaurant was ~75% full, not overly loud. Our waitstaff were attentive and polite. My wife and I have previously eaten at Momofukus in Manhattan and Toronto, and were thus familiar with the menu. The pork belly bao were delicious. My pork ramen was good, and my wife's chirashi bowl was obviously fresh and flavorful. Prices were in line with other Momofuku experiences, with dishes in the high teens to mid twenties per dish.
Good Japanese restaurant with still reasonable prices
Japanese restaurant with limited but decent menu. Speciality seems to be Ramen which I would also recommend if you look for something reasonably priced (compared to a lot of other places in Vegas) but nonetheless very tasty and good size.
Great Meal for a Group
We had eight people for dinner. The food was served family style on a large lazy susan. We had a little of everything: steak, duck, lobster, etc. Great service, highly recommend. Only down side is price, it was over $2k for the eight of us.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!

Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
