Momosan Lexington, NY New York Reviews from The Last Year
Came here for lunch on a weekday and it was surprisingly
Came here for lunch on a weekday and it was surprisingly not too busy! Service here is incredibly fast - to the point where we were asked if we knew what we wanted to eat within a minute of sitting down. Highly recommend coming during lunchtime to get the best ramen deal - for $20 you can get a bowl of ramen and a side! I got the tonkotsu ramen with the salmon avocado sushi roll. The sushi was super fresh and the ramen had such a great depth of flavor! On the table they provide chili oil, black garlic pepper powder, sesame seeds, and soy sauce which all went great with what I ordered! Left here feeling totally stuffed (in a good way haha) and can't wait to come visit again soon!
Came here for lunch on a Thursday and it was pretty packed
Came here for lunch on a Thursday and it was pretty packed right when it opened. I got the tonkotsu ramen and the salmon avocado roll. The lunch set for $20 is really decent in this economy and the portions were more than enough for a lunch. The ramen was very flavorful and definitely one of the better ramens I've had lately. There came with a nice variety of toppings and the pork was tender. The only thing is the noodles were not as al dente as I'd like. The salmon avocado roll was pretty good, very fresh and avocado was nice and ripe. Service was good and my water was constantly refilled. Would def come back here for the lunch set!
This just became my favorite restaurant.
Literally every single item was a must order. The soft shell crab bao bun, the brothless dan dan noodles, the sticky ribs, the spicy wontons and the duck tacos were phenomenal!! 10/10
This is my 5th trip and still not tired of the sticky ribs
This is my 5th trip and still not tired of the sticky ribs and spicy wontons. Service was excellent and not so busy in mid afternoon. No wait to get in. I will keep coming ! Only problem was entry door was black with no signs and can be easily missed by first timers.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood.
The food and service are good, but what makes the experience truly special is our server, Johan. He always goes above and beyond to make sure we have a great time. Johan's food recommendations are on point, and even when my favorite drink - the Yozu Cloud - isn't on the menu, he's happy to make it for me. If you visit this restaurant, I highly recommend asking for Johan to make your night extra special.
Went here because my son saw it on some best nyc ramen list.
We arrived at 4:50pm- they didnt allow any in till 5:05-510. I should've left at that point when I realized it was that kind of restaurant that's only open from 5-10pm fine dining bc I wasn't expecting an upscale trendy ramen place. It's ramen. Expect tiny plates for appetizers and drinks at premium prices- but it is Manhattan so that's typical. Ramen was 20 a bowl for the cheaper ones. My son said his soup was oily. Only half an egg and pork belly wasn't that remarkable. I thought the noodles were a bit firm but maybe that's how some folks like it. I expected more unique toppings honestly and just more toppings in general- but maybe that's reserved for the $30 ramen bowl I've had much much better ramen at hole in the wall places or even standard ramen places. The concept of fine dining ramen is weird to me, it's not like they were offering some Michelin style unique ingredients- it was standard ramen in a trendy upscale place. The only thing kind of unique were the softshell crab bao which was tasty, but it's small and $14. Duck tacos were interesting but only a thin sliver of duck. So I'm torn- was a beautiful restaurant, great- Kind- attentive service. For ambiance and a ramen craving and money to burn- it's great place. But if you want just great ramen, I'd look elsewhere.
Delightful service.
Delicious meal. Reasonably priced for midtown. Appreciated the ambiance / mood as well. Solid marks
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing time.
Special thanks to Johan and Joe. I'll definitely be back. Everything exceeded our expectations!
Food is outstanding! I will say this is my second time
Food is outstanding! I will say this is my second time eating here. First time was great! Second time better! I had the vegan ramen (i have a shrimp allergy) because I was told shrimp goes into the same fryer and or is in many of the broths served here. Although limited, I wasn't disappointed! My friend got the duck tacos and Ramen also (i don't recall which one) she loved it too! Sake reco was great, server was very knowledgeable! Go early this place gets crowded fast around 6ish. I'll be back!
This is my favorite ramen spot in the city, I come here all
This is my favorite ramen spot in the city, I come here all the time! The food is beyond delicious--I've tried basically every ramen on the menu except 2, and the brussel sprouts are to die for--and the service is always phenomenal. Johan has been my waiter multiple timed and he always takes care of us, ensures good quality of the food, and just makes it an enjoyable experience!! If you want yummy ramen, cool vibes, and a great experience, eat at Momosan and hope you get Johan!
I was pretty disappointed after this meal.
Let me start with the positives: the hostess, the bartender, the service, the atmosphere, these were all outstanding. I would've expected the food to be outstanding too, but unfortunately it really disappointed. I got the $28 set that included an appetizer and Ramen. I opted for the gyoza (3) and the tonkatsu ramen. The gyoza had a fun presentation on the sizzling platter. They were fine. Not bad but not memorable. But let's be honest - I was there for the ramen. My first bite was delicious with a nice rich broth. Yay. But after a few bites I really started to dig into the ramen and found it was a large clump. That's right - it was a gummy clump of noodles. Not what I would expect from a Morimoto restaurant. Frankly not what I would expect from any ramen focused specialty restaurant. Won't go back. Well - maybe for happy hour... but not for ramen.
Very good service and food, the lunch menu had a very good
Very good service and food, the lunch menu had a very good price. The waiter explained the menu promptly and everything came quickly.
Excellent service at the bar.
Good portions and I really enjoyed the noodles and broth. Very good ramen!
Best ramen I've had in NYC.
Some appetizers looked a bit too fusiony but stick with the authentic dishes
Great spot
Great sushi, ramen, and beer. Johan the bartender was very attentive. Would definitely recommend to friends or family
Perfect!
Exceptional ramen and sushi restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh. The waitress was so friendly and willing to please. Very pleasant atmosphere - just the right balance of sophistication without being formal. Would definitely return.
Out of this world ramen!
We sat at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere and music. The bartender was very attentive and served us right away. We enjoyed the sake and had several varieties. We also ordered the pork gyoza as an appetizer and it was delectable! The ramen was to die for! Tsukemen was spicy and incredible! Full of flavors, rich, and tender! My wife loved the Tonkotsu which had pork broth and pork belly. Some of the best ramen we’ve ever had!
Great place!
Very nice restaurant. Very pleasant staff. And very good value for money. The appetizers were good and the ramen excellent! My partner enjoyed her chicken broth a little less because she doesn't like mushrooms and we didn't expect it to taste as good.
Very good Japanese if you want Ramen
Very good Japanese restaurant with ramen. Very friendly welcome, the waitress took the time to advise us. Excellent value. Note at lunchtime, a menu at a reasonable price. Wide variety of sakes. You can go there with confidence.
Fascinating place
The place was packed out, which was a great indication of the meal we were about to have. The starters and ramen were great, with strong flavours and rounded spices. A little surprised that there was no hot sake on offer but we assumed that may not be a “thing” in NYC. No big deal really. Bench seating shared with others and a swell of conversations around us, all added to make the place feel ‘homely’. A nice evening.
Authentic, delicious
We went for Lunch and had Ramen Noodles. Very delicious, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Very good special on cold days to have that warm mildly spicy soup!
Rich and spicy
A highly recommended place in NYC for both quality and price. We liked the quality of the dishes. The ramen was exquisite and if you ask for it spicy, it's very spicy. Quite a pleasure. On another trip to NY I would return to this place. The treatment of the staff has been friendly but if you reserve everything will be easier
Seeing is believing!!
Crazy Ramen, fast and impeccable service. Be wary of anyone who says otherwise. My partner and I had to return 3 times in the space of a week, it became home for us.
Delicious!!
My friends and I found this restaurant by complete chance and we were so glad we did! The food and service were both excellent!

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

You should probably cancel prior to the cancellation date per the cancellation policy. I would imagine you would only get reimbursed for a sold listing if you happen to be charged?

My first sale took about a week. But as the other commenter said stay ontop of your cancellation windows. There’s no reimbursement for those so make sure you cancel in time then just try again.
