Fantastic tapas at this Seaport restaurant.
The tuna poke was delicious. The calamari dish was also good. I liked the mint and calamari. The food is very fresh too. I will return here with my girlfriends this summer.
Be the first to ReplyThis is one of my favorite restaurants in the Seaport area!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Seaport area! It's a cute ambience, upscale yet cool so great to go out for a nice dinner. They have share plates that you can choose from to make a nice varied meal. It can get loud at times so keep that in mind for a weekend dinner. You really can't go wrong with the food. My favorite OG share plate is the shishito peppers. I salivate just thinking about them! So simple yet so well seasoned. I've tried many other dishes as well and can't think of any I haven't liked.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a swanky and fun restaurant in the Seaport.
If you're in the area, it's worth a drink or a meal with friends, but probably not a second visit. The food is pretty good, with an eclectic selection of seafood, noodles, and dumplings. Cocktails are creative, but fall short in execution. Everything is just... fine. It's the sort of restaurant I'd call "faux upscale." You pay a huge premium (and I mean it--it's very, very expensive) to be in the area and for the beautiful interior, but it's all flash and little substance. The food pales in comparison to a restaurant like Myers and Chang, whose menu would satisfy the same craving. But if you're in the Seaport, Pier 4 is beautiful, the restaurant buzzes with music and conversation, and everything is really pretty good on the whole.
Be the first to ReplyThe service was great and the decor was very modern.
The restaurant is tapas style so plan to share everything! The tables in the main dining room were very close together, so you could really hear the conversations around you and getting up could be uncomfortable at times. The warm silken chawanmushi was beyond incredible and definitely the star of our meal. The oyster tacos were a close second. We also ordered the chicken and pork dumplings, the green beans and the short ribs. The green beans and short ribs were incredibly salty and hard to finish. I would come back for the chawanmushi and to try other things on the menu, but would want to try sitting at one of the high tops or at the bar.

Amazing execution, balance of flavors is spot on and innovative combinations! As a chef and restaurant owner Nautilus has become one of my go to spots when in Boston. Best fried rice I have ever had...simple quality ingredients caring and perfectly presented every time! Ceviche is off the hook and don't forget the chicken!

This is the place to be! I always have the best dinners here! The vibes are top and the staff are all super accommodating!
Be the first to ReplyFabulous food; one of the best places to eat in Boston.
One of my favorite things to do is to rock up early enough to do a walk-in, and sit at the bar.
Be the first to ReplyFood was excellent.
The apps were creative and very good especially the radish cakes. My halibut was delicious (note there is shrimp paste in the sauce that is not listed), and the lamb for two was excellent. Drinks are expensive. Service was good. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyI had no idea what to expect when I made a reservation for
I had no idea what to expect when I made a reservation for Nautilus, but I ended up having quite a good experience overall. The one thing that stuck out in a bad way however was that the food was very very salty and would really have gone well with rice (but they don't give any rice or bread and it's not even listed as an optional add-on). I am a fiend for salt, but even I thought that the combination of a lot of the foods that we got were unbearably salty and really took away from the enjoyableness of the experience. Even if we had just had a couple of bowls of rice, the food would have tasted much much better because we would have been able to appreciate the flavors, rather than just have our mouths overloaded with sodium. That being said I really did love the different flavors that we had here and had a lot of dishes that I would want to get again. Delicious, would get again - Korean style short ribs was the showstopper for me. I was worried that it would be sweet because it did say KBBQ style, which can be quite sweet, but instead it was a punch of flavor and the meat was so tender and juicy. It's some of the best short rib I've ever had. It was just delicious. - The crab fried rice was delicious. The price is a bit steep and I'm not sure if it's really worth that price, but it is quite good. Very soft, filling, and hits all the right spots. It's not a wok hei crispy sort of fried rice, but more of a soft one with smooth gentle flavors. The crab meat is big and tasty and the egg and crispy shallots are great. I didn't really need the sauce at that point and I kind of wish that we had the rice earlier to go with the other things but unfortunately we did receive the rice last. - The tuna with shrimp chips was also really good. It wasn't too salty, the tuna was super super smooth, and the shrimp chips had a nice crunch. Wouldn't get again/I was too salted-out to appreciate - The charcoal prawns were strongly recommended in a lot of food reviews. I can see that it could've been good, but there was way too much seasoning on it, and it was the first item we had that was unbearably salty. The shrimp was also the kind that gets easily overcooked. I wouldn't get it again. - I thought the scallops were nicely cooked and tasty with vegetables and creamy sauce but it wasn't anything particularly special so I wouldn't get that one again. - The Shanghai pork and chicken dumplings were pretty good but nothing too special and I'm not sure if the price is justified. I did like the crunchy textures of the topping and the sauciness. - We also got the raclette peppers which I didn't really like because it wasn't my style of flavors but the other people I was with really liked it. - The wok-fried greens I think we're quite good but again because of the salt I just couldn't eat any more of it. Dessert review - The tres leches cake with passion fruit was really unique and tasty and the textures were great. It was almost a bit too much flavor though -- there was a bit of mouth-puckering saltiness and sourness. It was almost too much flavor for me, though I'm not sure how much that was influenced by the other things I had earlier in the evening. - The salted chocolate soft serve was nothing special. The tres leches cake is much more special and worth getting. Takeaways - They gave us four of most things so it would be a great place to go with either two people or four people. - We did order a bit too much food, and ended up spending over $100 per person after tax and tip. We could easily have cut one or two of the smaller dishes and have been satisfied (closer to $75 per person). - Given the serving sizes, the food is quite expensive. But there are some really unique flavor and texture combinations that you can't find elsewhere, so maybe it's worth it! - I did enjoy it more than other more upscale restaurants I've tried I've had on average I think they really know their flavor as well they just may amplify the salt aspect a little bit too much. - The service was good and it was a really nice ambiance with nice lighting and bathrooms. - It's a great place to go if you're looking to treat yourself or celebrate something. I can see myself coming back but I would definitely try to get some rice, because I don't think it's possible to get through the meal without it.

A fun spot for some great food! The service was great; our waiter was super helpful with guiding us through the menu and figuring what and how much to order. The food was delicious. Only complaint would be that I wish we could've had more of it so we didn't have to keep fighting over bites Their wine list is super impressive and I wish we could've tried more.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely LOVED Nautilus.
The service was great, food was even better, and drinks were creative and delicious. The bar is extensive so feel free to tell your bartenders what you're craving, even if it's off the menu! Our waitress was extremely attentive while also making sure to course out our dishes and ensure we weren't rushed. The oyster tacos and cauliflower were definite must tries. The oysters were very lightly friend and the sauce and the rice underneath made for the perfect combo. The cauliflower was one of the most interesting preparations I've ever had. The tahini sauce and roasted cauliflower with pickled kohlrabi made for a light dish that didn't taste overly fried or drenched in oil.The salmon nori hand rolls were also delicious, along with the beef tataki. My only regret is being too full to try every dish on the menu!!

Super hip and fun, good atmosphere, awesome service, fun variety of food and cocktails!
Be the first to ReplyOne of my new favourite places.
Great cocktails and incredible food. It's tapas style so you get to sample loads of different food, all of which was amazing. Great atmosphere and everyone was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.
Be the first to ReplyDo you know the coolest place in Boston? I didn't either
Do you know the coolest place in Boston? I didn't either until I walked in here with a last minute reservation. This place was packed! And for good reason. The nautical theme is amazing. The graphics on their menus and everything was so visually incredible to look at. And the Asian fusion menu was nicely curated. Everything was absolutely delicious. I recommend you go with a decent size group to order everything on the menu and just share. You're not going to want to sleep on any item. And their cocktails were pretty good. I walked in from a snowy hailing night, ordered myself a hot cocktail to warm up. It's like an adult chicken noodle soup for my soul. Definitely recommend a reservation because there's no way you're going to get a seat otherwise unless you're going to wait hours because that's how busy this place is!

The food and drinks were delicious! It's all meant to be shareables so we ordered a bunch of options; Dan Dan noodles, calamari, crab fried rice, pork steam buns, short ribs, and korean fried chicken. Drinks were tasty; Pretty Fly for a Rye Guy and Teach Me How to Dougie. 3 of us and it was over $300. Pretty pricey for small plates but everything was very tasty and service was wonderful.
Be the first to ReplyWow wow wow!!! Came here for Valentines Day.
My SO made a 9:15 reservation. The hostess accidentally sat a couple under our name, but they were able to find us a table immediately. We also did arrive a bit early. I did not take pics of all the food because 1. I did not want to be that person. and2. I was enjoying my date. For drinks, I had the Risky 'biscus twice. My SO ordered Havana Club on the rock- and by chance, we happened to have the last of the bottle, which the server told us was on the house! Such a great gift! We appreciated the gesture so much! For food, we ordered the Two Hawaiian tuna poke (verrryy delicious!). I loved it. Fresh and delicious. The chilled octopus salad delicious as well! (Pictured below) I appreciated the way the octopus was sliced- like the way cucumbers are sliced. I've made an Asian salad at home before, and this seemed close to it, but much much better! The Japanese fried chicken was probably me and my SO's top favorite choice of what we ordered. A delicious sauce was in the middle of these bite sized pieces of chicken, garnished with a few sprigs of cilantro. Texture was perfect; a little crunch but tender. My SO ordered the Steamed Pork Buns. I didn't have any, but he said they were great! The spicy Szechuan dandan noodles had me fooled initially, because I didn't think they were spicy (I'm someone who loves spice in my food and can tolerate a decent amount of spice), then after maybe 5 minutes, the spiciness started to kick in. Very good! All to say, I wish I had 7 stomachs so I could try EVERYTHING on the menu! Drinks, ambiance, service & food were excellent! This is a nice date night spot. There also is a nice bar, so it can also be a hangout NOT for dates. Definitely a mature setting- no college kids or that type of scene. You will not go wrong eating and drinking here! I hope to be back soon!

We got to sit at the chef's bar and watch how the food was being made. It created more of an experience rather than a meal. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the Shishito Peppers and the Blue Crab Fried Rice but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The only issue is the fact that I booked at reservation for the chef's bar at 8:45pm and didn't get seated until 9:15pm. However, the hostess was very accommodating and offered us seats at the private bar and a dining table along with sincerely apologizing. Overall this place is wonderful and I will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyI was so worried that this restaurant wouldn't live up to
I was so worried that this restaurant wouldn't live up to the hype... but it did! I absolutely loved our meal here tonight. We started with the crudo and poke bowl, which were the perfect light starters. Both of these dishes packed a punch! They were so light but the flavor was incredible. We wanted to save most of our appetite for the duck, and these were definitely the right dishes to begin with. We split the duck for the main course. Honestly, I think I'll dream about that duck tonight. It was perfectly cooked. I can't say enough good things about this meal!! I can't wait to return!

Cool Asian fusion dinner spot in Seaport with delicious food, excellent service, & lovely ambiance. Unfortunately a little pricey for the quantity. They have plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. Favorite was the raclette stuffed peppers!
Be the first to ReplyAmbience is nice and cozy, great place for first dates.
Food wise, everything was super salty and overcooked. We ordered, prawns, scallops, pork belly buns, stuffed eggplants/peppers, Japanese fried chicken and the dinner feast-Prime ribeye $125, not worth it.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous food, tasty cocktails, lovely view.
This gem built in this up and coming area is worth visiting. The service was attentive. The bartender personable (ate at the bar. The menu was interesting and the cuisine delicious.
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambiance, food was amazing, drinks were top notch.
Our bartender gave us a great experience.
Be the first to ReplyNot what I expected but the duck was really awesome!
Not what I expected but the duck was really awesome! Restaurant is very very very casual not My speed But I'm sure a lot of the patriots love it. So if you wanna go somewhere really casual and get good food little expensive I suggest you go there but you need to make your reservation online two weeks in advance.

We loved the spicy wok greens and Szechuan dandan noodles best. They were amazing. 2 plates a person seemed to be the right amount of food. Staff was great. Great people watching. I'd go back in a heartbeat if I didn't live on the West Coast.
