No Signboard Seafood At Geylang Singapore Reviews from The Last Year
If you want quality seafood at a fair price, this is the place for you.
We received a recommendation for the place from a local guide. No regrets. Very good selection of seafood. Everything is fresh from large aquariums with aerated water. We recommend ordering crabs in chili sauce and also with white pepper. We also took microscopic squid, frogs and local sea bass deep fried in soya souce. They cook quickly. Correct delivery. We also took sashimi from geodak. This is a mollusk that looks like an elephant trunk. Highly recommended for men. The theme works; everything is very tasty and fresh. Tip - you can choose crabs and lobsters from Sri Lanka, Australia or Pendostan. Locals say that there is no point in overpaying for Australian or American ones because Ceylon ones are meatier. Geoduck - about $220 per kilo (on boat quay - the price will be 2x) - it’s not for everybody. If it's your first time, ask for the smallest one. I love him so much . The taste is something between a tender scallop, squid and an oyster. I will definitely come back here on my next trip. The price is $280 American. On boat quay - for this amount of food you will pay twice as much and the quality will be “for tourists”. It is significant that a lot of locals come here
The place is far from fancy but the food really excellent.
We had a couple of crab dishes, but my favorite were the crayfish breaded with cereal, and the fried buns. Sooo good

No Sign Board is the witty name of a restaurant offering a huge menu of Singaporean seafood dishes. The specialty is the Singaporean Chili Crab, a whole crab served in a viscous, sweet, and slightly spicy sauce made of egg, tomatoes, and chili. The sauce enveloped the cracked pieces of crab and went nicely with the soft, deep-fried mantou buns on the side. We also had a bunch of other dishes including crispy baby squid in a sticky, spicy sauce; stir-fried vegetables; Singapore rice noodles; steamed whole fish; prawn salad (covered in mayonnaise); and deep-fried fish cakes covered with sesame. Finally for dessert came an icey soup of soursop and white fungus, an acidic, refreshing combination to finish off the meal!
High-end stores are nice, but this is a must-try in Singapore!
The main store in Geylang district and the branch that closed down were very stylish, but the main store has a downtown feel. You can eat while looking at a huge aquarium (crabs, fish, frogs, etc. swimming in it). The ceiling and walls are made of tents, but you can concentrate on your meal without being affected by the rainy season squalls. Also, since it is not an indoor store, you can eat durian without hesitation.

Nice open air space in Singapore! Heard rumors about the famous Singaporean Pepper Crab and this place did not disappoint. Came here for a late lunch and tried the famous white pepper crab. Overall the ambience, food and service was good. You hear about the crab variations in Singapore about the black and white peppers but this place is more famous for the white pepper version of the sauce. This place has been around for a long time. The crab came out piping hot and they provide guests with plastic gloves if your the germaphobe! White pepper flavors had a nice kick and will clear up your sinuses for sure! Would recommend for the white pepper variant!
