Truly dissatisfied.
We donโt understand the positive reviews. We had high expectations, none of which were met. Our issues: - the table wasnโt clean when we were seated, and it was obvious. We had to ask to have it wiped down. - waitstaff asked for our drink order, but we hadnโt been given a drink menu. - placed our order, only to have waitstaff come back and tell us they were out of one of our entrees - ordered an appetizer that never came (we werenโt charged) - pacing was ridiculously fast. Entrees served minutes after salads. They were asking us for dessert orders 30 minutes after sitting down. - if the food would have made up for it, ok, but it was just fair We donโt post negative reviews often. This one is deserved.

Food was very good. Oysters on the half shell were large and really good. Happy hour food & drinks were fantastic. Our waiter Blue was very friendly & provided excellent service. We will be going back next time we travel to Tulsa.
Be the first to ReplyFirst experience dining at Nolaโs. Hope to have many more!!
The food was beyond outstanding. Voodoo chicken was so good. The chicken was amazingly tender, and shrimp was perfectly cooked as well. Our server, Tyler was superb A+++++. The whole experience was wonderful. Canโt wait to come back.
Be the first to ReplySouthern Bliss at Nola's
Nola's Creole and Cocktails in Tulsa, OK, is an absolute delight that transported me to the heart of the South with its charming atmosphere and mouthwatering offerings. The moment I stepped in, the beautiful decor captivated me โ a perfect fusion of vibrant colors and intricate details that set the stage for a memorable dining experience. Let's talk about the star of the menu, the Voodoo Chicken. This dish was nothing short of a flavor symphony. The fried chicken breast achieved that ideal crispiness, and the rich, creamy sauce was a heavenly blend of seafood that elevated the dish to new heights. It was a harmonious dance of textures and flavors that left my taste buds singing. To accompany the delectable meal, I ventured into uncharted cocktail territory with the "Penicillin." This classic concoction was a pleasant surprise, a well-balanced blend of flavors that complemented the Southern charm of Nola's. Sipping on this delightful drink added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. And then there were the beignets โ a sweet treat that rounded off the experience perfectly. Light, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, these little delights were a delightful finale to an already fantastic meal. Nola's Creole and Cocktails isn't just a restaurant; it's a journey through the soul of the South. The enchanting decor, the flavorful Voodoo Chicken, the surprising Penicillin cocktail, and the scrumptious beignets collectively create an experience that lingers long after you leave. I highly recommend Nola's to anyone looking for a taste of Southern charm and culinary bliss in Tulsa. Cheers to Nola's for creating an atmosphere that feels like a warm embrace in the heart of the South!
Be the first to ReplyRude Greeters, but good food....
My wife and I met 10 other family members for an early lunch, 11am. As usual, we were about 10 minutes early. The 5 door greeters all said hello and welcomed us to Nola's. I told them that we were a party of 12...the tone immediately changed. They explained that until we had 80% of our crew there, we wouldn't be seated....we were told to wait outside (temp was 42 degrees) or go to the bar and that they don't have a lobby and we can't wait there. By this point, they knew where we were going to sit but repeated that we can't wait for our family in the entry. I said that if you know where we are going to sit then take us there. Nope, go to the bar or leave, was the response. I was completely taken off guard by their rudeness. My wife left and waited in the car.....I walked down to the bar area and just stood there.... For a party of 12, who by the way, spend over $1,000 on food and drinks, there should be a better process. The food and wait staff were fantastic. Maybe some customer service training for the young people in your entry could improve the customer experience. I work in healthcare and we strive to create a positive customer experience so that people feel welcome and want to use our service again. I will give Nola's one more try....not sure about my wife....
Be the first to ReplyLunch at Nola's
Had a business lunch yesterday at Nola's. I've been to Nola's on several occasions, but it was for dinner, never for lunch. 3 of us had the shrimp Po 'boy and Cajun fries. 2 had the voodoo chicken, and 2 had the chicken Alfredo pasta. All of the meals were excellent. The service was great with us being checked on throughout the meal and our drinks refilled before being asked. My buddy had just been to Nola's weekend brunch and said it was great also. Nola's has many good & great reviews for a reason. Never disappoints.

This was such a pleasant surprise to find fine dining and comfort food together. The place was tastefully decorated and the service was on point. We were served by a nice young lady named Sam. The food and drinks were delightful.

Great brunch spot! We had a couple of drinks, oysters, poboy and sandwich. All of which was really good. Service was good and would be back!

Nola is one of my very favorite places to dine when visiting family in Tulsa . Today I went for Brunch for the first time. The Voodoo Chicken and Waffles did not disappointโit was wonderful! We were able to dine on the porch and with the heaters on it was perfect on a crisp fall day! As always Nola was a great dining experience.

If youโre in Tulsa OK & visiting the popular Cherry St area just outside downtown then this restaurant deserves a visit especially if youโre ok with Louisiana style food. The ambiance, food & service were excellent!

My man chino and Jared took great care of us. Our group was a little rowdy and needy, but the man took care of us the whole time we were there. Enough for me to leave a review, if that matters. Give that man a raise!

It is very popular so reserve online before hand. The service was great. Highly recommend the Voodoo chicken and crab cake dinner. Cool atmosphere.

Took my sister to Birthday lunch, first time for both of us. Good food, knowledgeable servers, and very friendly staff. Will go again, as many menu items looked great. Looks like a great place to go and to have appetizers and desserts, with some fun cocktailsโฆ
Be the first to ReplyGreat Cajun cuisine
Itโs as close to authentic New Orleans as you can get. I would highly recommend getting the Voodoo chicken and red beans and rice.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing Birthday dinner
Ordered MILD bloody Maryโs SO spicy we couldnโt drink them. Noticed two other tables where their drinks were not consumed as well. Asked for milk. They were out. Oysters were great however entree came minutes after and server attempted to put them on top of my plate. Guess plate was too heavy for her. Lobster in Mac and cheese was impossible to find. So disappointed!!! As we were leaving, another table was sending their food back.
Be the first to ReplyVery very good!
What a wonderful restaurant. Good bar, good location and great food. Amber was our waitress and she was very good. As a person who visits New Orleans often this is as close as you can get in this part of the country. Shrimp remoulade was outstanding. My steak cooked to a perfect medium rare. Bloody Mary very good. Gumbo outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful evening

The food was amazing, the wait staff did so well! We were seated right away even though it was busy and we expected a wait time. The prices were very reasonable

We came from Texas for a work trip and found this little gem in downtown Tulsa. Highly recommend Nolaโs - the food is great and the service even better! Special thanks to Forest who gave the best food recommendations and answered every question we had about the menu. ๐๐ป Unfortunately, we didnโt have room for dessert but weโll make sure to stop by again when we come back to Tulsa. โบ๏ธ

I have a love hate relationship with this menu. So hard to decide what to get!!! Every time we are in town we make sure we eat at Nolaโs at least once. Usually twice! Voodoo Chicken and the Cedar Plank Salmon are usually ordered. Along with sides of Shrimp Cocktail, Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice and Hushpuppies.
