I feel terrible to write this as I have been loyal for almost 25 years and noticed a severe decline in quality especially over the past several years. I do not mind paying for a great meal as long as it is awesome. This was not in any way. We were a larger group and all excited and hungry. To start service was top notch as usual and the French Onion soup knocked it out of the park. The Greek salad dressing was also very good. That unfortunately is where the praise ends. The filet at $73 truly sucked. It was marketed as a center barrel cut, however it had the chain attached with some chewy gristle. There was zero marbling and YES on a nice prime filet there should be some marbling. It had a lot of chew and lacked seasoning altogether. A failure. One of my guests got the porterhouse for 2 ordered medium and it was bright red cool to the touch raw. Another guest ordered a rib eye which they ordered med rare and came out gray and med well. The side potatoes the server raved about were just average. The prices are nosebleed expensive and I feel they are riding on their reputation at this point which is unfortunate. There is a problem when I can go to Costco, buy their PRIME filet simply season with kosher salt and pepper and have an absoutely amazing steak for $15 that smokes what I ate at Okee. Perhaps an off night for them, but think the best bet is go for happy hour for bar burgers and drinks, that makes sense. But when you spend $300 on dinner for 2 and better blow you away!
