Consistently Excellent
This is a fairly new establishment on Bleeker St. BYOB. We had our second meal here and again enjoyed the 17 course tasting menu. It's an outstanding value at $120 per person. They provide a seasonal array of fish from both Japan, and domestic waters, as well as A5 Grade Wagyu. The preparation and presentation are outstanding. We loved everything.

One of my friends in the wine/spirits trade recommended this new restaurant, open about 2 months now. It's main theme is a 17 course Omakase meal for $120, though they also offer a la carte items. These chefs know what they are doing. My brother who travels to Asia on business said quite firmly our meal was the best Omakase he's had outside of Asia. Specially loved items were the uni in the shell, Grade A5 Seared Wagyu with Uni, and Monkfish Liver with Truffle and Caviar. The restaurant generously uses luxurious items to create world class food. This is a BYOB. Grab some great Sake for this meal. We purchased ours at Sakaya on E. 9th Street, it's the only such store in NYC that features Sake products.
